Phil was a wonderful host. His place is in a great location - tucked in a neighborhood but just a quick 10 min walk to all that Murphys has to offer. Hot tub was great, all rooms well appointed. We would definitely book again’

Our family of four absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay at Compass North. The entire place is nicely furnished and we truly felt at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with a large variety of seasonings. The bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. We love proximity to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Twain Harte, and to Sonora. Parking was super easy. The only thing our family would suggest changing are the pots and pans because all but one are badly scratched up. Otherwise, there’s no doubt our family would be back. Gina is a wonderful informative host from beginning to end.

Beyond expectations. I cannot wait to return here at least annually. One of the best airbnbs - surrounded by nature and serenity. Wish I could buy the home lol!

Best place we’ve stayed on Arnold area! House is a great layout for a family - downstairs area for kiddos and upstairs living are. Jeff and Hannah were fantastic hosts, proactively reaching out to make sure we had a great stay. House was spotless and comfortable, nice updated kitchen which is rare in Arnold. And they didn’t make us haul our own trash out which is common in the neighborhood, really appreciated!! Will definitely be back.

A true genuine feel of being a guest in a special place. I'm sure this will be an annual trip for us.

Our stay in Murphy’s was a lovely experience. We booked our stay for a book club retreat and were looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to relax and read. The house was clean and spacious, very comfortable to accommodate our group. The location is perfect and walkable to many restaurants and wineries. I would recommend this location for sure!

We stayed in this home during rain/ cold season. No snow. The inside of the home was clean. the outside of the home was not as pictured, likely because of winter season. there was a lot of debris outside on the patios including pine needles (although unavoidable, it appeared no one had been at the home to do a quick clean up prior to the rental). The driveway is very steep. Plenty stairs to walk up as well. The outlets in the bathrooms and outside were not working and we had an issue with the toilet - luckily there were two restrooms. This was communicated to the property manager right away. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash soap and hand soaps were good quality. All the mattresses were also great quality. The location was close to Calaveras Big Trees and 30 minutes away from Bear Valley for tubing and sledding. A Tesla supercharger was very close to the property. Overall, a great time.

If I am ever back in Arnold or in the area, I would definitely come back to stay in the wonderful home. Angel's home felt so welcoming and cozy. After a long day in the snow, my family and I couldn't wait to come unload and relax. We arrived and the home was very clean. We were able to enter the home with no issues. The rooms and bathroom were clean and we felt right at home. The open concept kitchen, dining and living room made it so easy to still be together while we cooked and relaxed. The patio area was lovely with the twinkling lights. The bathrooms were fully equipped with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I personally loved the make up removers and towels. The beds were very comfortable and the comforters kept us nice and warm. I would highly recommend others to stay here as well.

Great place. The location, comfort and amenities were perfect for a weekend. We will definitely stay again.
