とても綺麗で素晴らしい宿でした。

We spent 2 nights at Daiki's place. It is a lovely modern renovation of a traditional home, tastefully done. Located amongst the tea fields of Daiki and his wife's tea business. It is remote in the sense that the reason you go is to be amongst the tea fields. They give a nice tea tour and introduction to tea tasting, the meals they provide are outstanding, a lot of love and care goes into everything they do and shows. They organized a day trip for us to explore the unique ceramics of a nearby town, which is highly recommended if you have an interest in ceramics. This is a unique opportunity to both stay in a modern Japanese-style home in the country-side and experience Japanese tea culture. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the hospitality that Daiki and his wife showed us. Highly recommended. Takes only about an hour from Kyoto, short train ride and about 45 minute taxi ride.

This place is good for those who wish to have nature and quietness. Bamboo forest is behind and a short walk to Fushimi inari via it. It is a cozy, clean and good sized place. Naoko and her husband were very kind, they offered to bring us around as her husband happened to be free. She even ore-recorded a tape in English to explain our itinerary. This more than made up the not-so-central location. around yen1300 by uber from station to her house if you do not wish to walk. On the whole, we felt very blessed to have stayed at this place. Hope to be back one day.

Irene的房子很好地结合了京都当地建筑特色和现代化的生活品质，厨房设施齐全，马桶用起来不错，浴缸的体验更是独具特色；房源位置也相当方便，在二楼打开窗户就能俯视鸭川，距离最热闹的四条地区步行十分钟左右可以抵达，清水寺等景点要更近些。 住在马路边确实会有些噪音，但卧室的封闭设计很好的对冲了这个问题，要当心睡过头哈哈哈哈哈

この度は2泊させていただいてとても素敵な時間を過ごさせていただきました。 家屋が美しく、センスのいいアンティークな家具が並び、瑞々しい庭が眺められて、どこも長年手をかけて手入れし美しさを保っていらっしゃるのだと思いました。 居心地がよくてコタツの暖かさに何度も寝落ちしました。 ロケーションもよくて、観光スポットが近く、散歩するのも楽しかったです。 美味しいお店も教えていただき、食事には全く困りませんでした！ また時間ができたらお邪魔したいです。 ありがとうございました！

とにかく設備も揃ってるし、 全てが清潔感抜群。 プライベート空間としても塀が高いので良し。 また活用させてもらいます

My wife friends and I greatly enjoyed Michael and Ikuko's hospitality during our stay! From Michael's pretrip recommendation of a visit to Nakai Organic Matcha Farm, where we learned about and tasted matcha, to dinner recommendations tailored to the night of the week of our stay, Michael offered advice that made sure our visit to Wazuka was memorable. Michael thoughtfully picked us up from the center of town with luggage, dropped us at his place, and set us up with the accomodations. The AirBnB is very well documented compared to all of the other places we visited in Japan - for example, the gaijins among us finally learned how to properly use a Japanese shower room :). Their place is awesome - the rooms are floored with tatami mats and have sliding doors as featured, but also had the modern amenities we wanted The cherry on top was Ikuko's tea session! Ikuko's tea selection was on point and we were quite saucy off of 5 cups of tea! Overall, really enjoyed our stay and would return
