Great stay, perfect location and perfect space. Taiyo was friendly and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore Kyoto from. Thank you Taiyo!

The space was just right for solo travelers. Personally, it was quite far from Kyoto station but still walkable. The amenities offered were nice and functional. The hosts were responsive and very considerate. Thank you, see you again in Kyoto!

We stayed almost 3 weeks comfortably. The rooms are spacious. Strong wifi, equipped kitchen, laundry machine and so on are suited for a long term stay. 10 mins walk to the subway station and from there 40 mins to Kyoto central area. You can hear cars passing by but other than that very quiet. Taketo was very attentive and we appreciate his kind hospitality.

교토역에서 충분히 걸어다닐만한 길입니다. 캐리어 끌고 다니기에도 좋아요. 길이 깨끗하고 평지라 편합니다. 화장실이 작지만 깔끔하고 샤워커텐 치면 편하게 샤워가 가능합니다. 여자 둘이서 캐리어 방 안에 두고 잘 쉬었어요. 원래 바닥에서 잘 못자는 편인데, 바닥에 까는 이불이 두껍고 푹신해서 불편한줄 모르고 아주 편하게 잘 잤습니다. 이틀이 아쉽게 느껴지는 숙소였어요. 숙소 바로 옆에 강이 있는데 참 예쁘더라구요. 피크닉을 즐기니 못한게 아쉽습니다. 숙소 체크인이 늦었는데도 불구하고 친절히 안내 해 주셔서 감사합니다. 다음번에도 이 숙소에서 묵고싶다고 같이 온 친구와 대화했어요. 타월도 호텔수건이라 좋아요. 여러모로 신경 쓴 숙소라 편안히, 기분 좋게 쉬다 갑니다.

This was my third time staying. I have another booking upcoming . It is a sizeable apartment with everything I need to live in Kyoto. the location is perfect for my activities. Sumi makes sure I do not want for anything. the river is a block away, Keihan train is a few minute walk. I look forward to my next stay.

Nori and Fumi were absolutely amazing, from the beginning to the end! They even received our luggages ahead of time and picked us up from the train station. The apartment was beyond our expectations; the bed was so comfortable and the biggest one we had in Japan, spacious living space and kitchen. The ability to do laundry was just icing on the cake! Breakfast was served every morning and it was delicious! Nori gave us an option of doing a traditional Japanese or American breakfast at the cool cafe. The location was right outside of the chaos of Kyoto but very close to the train/bus, restaurants, conventions stores, etc. Fumi took us to a local spot every morning and dropped us off closer to where we wanted to be and gave us recs! The experience with Fumi and Nori was just invaluable. We long to come back and visit them as they are just the most wonderful humans! It was great getting to know them and making new friends in Japan; they added so much to our trip. Thank you so much

What a gem of a place! One of my favorite Airbnbs we've stayed in – it even has a pin on Google Maps (search "The Gion House")! Despite having to take a taxi to get here, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere else we wanted to from here. It's a ~5min walk from the famous Hokan-ji temple + streets, ~6min walk from 7/11, and ~10min walk to all the restaurants like Kichi Kichi Omurice. Made me wish we could have stayed an extra day! The house itself has a lot of charm (we had a photoshoot inside with our kimono rentals) and the water pressure in the shower is unmatched. Would definitely stay here again, although next time I might stay in the bottom floor because it might be nice to have a garden :)

Loved our stay at Mio’s place. The apartment was a lot bigger than we expected and was extremely comfortable. The heating was great and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed here with our baby and Mio left some toys for him to play with, which we really appreciated. Its a short walk to the train station yet out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Theres also a 7/11 across the road and the coffee shop around the corner is incredible. Thanks Mio for such a lovely stay.

We stayed at Fusako’s place for 3 nights, it was a perfect location and really walkable to all the sights and restaurants. The house was lovely, very clean and spacious. Fusako was a great host and even let us check in early. Thank you for the great stay Fusako!

This home was perfect for our Kyoto trip the area it’s located in is close to everything but not too close that it’s noisy and so after a long day you can actually relax and sleep so well here. Has all the essential amenities needed (shampoo/conditioner, a toiletry kit, laundry soap, disposable house shoes). Has a heating unit works very well as does the washing machine. The home was very clean. Upstairs there is a set up bedroom with two beds and a Japanese style room with floor beds in the closet that can be set up. There is two floors and two bathrooms, one on each floor. Home looks just like the pictures, very beautiful architecture and so spacious. We came here early March, there was light rain and the home provided umbrellas which was a lovely touch. There is a tv with an Apple TV. Overall a perfect choice and would stay here again in the future!

It was a lovely stay at Fushimi Inari Inn! 10/10 highly recommended. Thank you for the wonderful stay, and would love to book this again in the future just in case we're going to stay in Kyoto.

Loved this stay. Close enough to all the action but just tucked away enough from the busy areas. Pictures don’t do it justice. Will definitely try to use it again when back in Kyoto.

Enjoyed my stay here with my love ones. Location was a distance from the train station and the streets are really dark at night. There was also staircase in the house where the steps are small so have to be careful going up and down the stairs. If you prefer a quiet and peaceful environment, you’d like this place! House was exact to the pictures and i slept really well on the tatami bed. Loved the experience there! Once you recognise the roads, you’ll navigate your way to the train station faster :)

Apartment is good. But the toilet was smelly. Exhaust fan also worked properly.

숙소가 매우 깨끗하고 정돈되어 있어 놀랐다. 호텔보다도 나았다. 이만한 가격대에 이정도로 깨끗하고 정돈된 숙소는 찾기 힘들 것이다. 최대 5인이서 숙박 가능하지만 한 명은 소파에서 자야 하며 숙소가 넓은 것은 아니다.

Amazing place! Great location! For 2 people, it’s perfect! However, if u have 1 or 2 extra people sleeping on the sofa bed, it is as hard as sleeping on plywood. Thankfully, the host was super nice and provided a futon to go on top! Just be sure to ask for one if you have more than 2 people! Bikes are absolutely exceptional to have especially in Kyoto, with the freedom to ride anywhere around the city (also, ¥1000/bike that lasts 4 days is affordable compared to renting elsewhere). We would recommend this stay!

Great location! It's easy to walk to many temples as well as Nishiki Market. Nice apartment. The kitchen is really basic, though, just one burner. The only food provisions provided are coffee and tea packets. It was pretty quiet. We used the washer/dryer (laundry soap provided). The clothes come out cold and a bit damp, so we hung them up various places in the bathroom. The beds are comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Best airbnb! Looked like the pictures, complete amenities, and is a convenient walk from convenience stores, bus stop and Kyoto station. Highly recommended for others!
