I had a fantastic stay with Yumiko-san and her husband! They went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, from arranging our pick-up at the station to giving us valuable tips on local bike rentals. They were incredibly flexible and even woke up early to help us. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they made us feel right at home. Plus, Yumiko-san’s English was great! My only regret is not staying longer. For future guests, I’d recommend setting times for pick-up, leaving, meals, shower time, and other activities to make the stay even smoother. Thank you both for a wonderful experience!

Midori ist eine wundervolle ältere Dame. Sie holte mich am Bahnhof ab und am Tage des Checkouts hat sie mich wieder hingebracht. Sie war immer erreichbar und gab mir Tipps für die Gegend. Ich würde bei meinem nächsten Besuch immer wieder zu ihr kommen.

Wow, what an amazingly designed place to stay, in such a beautiful, off the beaten path town! I can't say enough good things about the space and the hosts, Tamachan was so helpful and friendly, and she and the kitchen staff were so very kind to feed me while they were hosting a private dinner (while the cafe was technically closed!). Tsuwano is also just such an unexpectedly lovely and peaceful place nestled in a river valley, I can't wait to return!

Des hôtes accueillants, qui prennent vos bagages à la gare et qui vous y raccompagnent. Des petits déjeuners exceptionnels et très copieux vous sont servis. Une maison étonnante par son architecture qui vous offre calme et espace. Le nécessaire de toilette est à disposition ce qui allège le bagage. Nous recommandons +++.

Amazing stay with Kikue. Very responsive and communicative leading up to my visit. She was so nice and gave me incredible recommendations. Even drove me to the train station while it was raining! I would highly recommend staying here anytime visiting Hiroshima!

I spent 2 nights with Mr & Mrs Tanaka, and I felt like part of the family. They were extremely kind and both gave me lifts to/from Miyauchi Kushido train station (5mins from Miyajimaguchi, so easy to reach Itsukushima and spend all day there until sunset. The house is spacious and the bedroom is private with a comfy bed. Mrs Tanaka cooks amazing food! She made cakes, breakfast and dinner for me every day. We all communicated using translation apps and it worked out fine! Would recommend, especially to any solo travellers looking for a home away from home.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this stylish little home. Mitsi and Tomo are very friendly hosts and the breakfast restaurant they run is next door, so that is very convenient and delicious! We especially liked that the home is right next to the water, the JR station, and the pedestrian mall. The nautical history of the place (it used to be a sail-right-up waterfront property with a mooring ring) was also cool. There are two-and-a-half bedrooms; three beds in three rooms, but two of the rooms are semi-connected, and you could count them as one private room or two partly-private rooms. This was not a problem for us but others might want to know.

Ночевал всего одну ночь. Без проблем поздно заехал, ресепшн работает долго. На кухне бесплатный чай/кофе. Месторасположение возможно не идеально, но для одной ночи мне не существенно.
