Classic old house in a great location with beautiful views of the river and a fantastic wrap around balcony to enjoy them from. The house is close to the main road so you will get traffic noise during the day but this died off at night and there are no close neighbours so it was quiet in the evenings with the exception of the odd possum doing a dash across the tin roof. The two smallest bedrooms have ensuites with the rest of the bedrooms served by a nice toilet/shower combo and there's also another separate shower. The 5th shower and 4th toilet are both outside the house but the toilet is in good condition. Kitchen area is very good and well suited to big groups. Outside balcony is very big with great river views but it could do with a bit of love from a cobweb broom and a general cleanup. However, this is a country house in a bush setting so set your expectations based on that and you'll find the house very enjoyable.

We visited Bridgetown to participate in a Cycling Event (Tour of Blackwood) and found the house to be well located, comfortable and provide good facilities. A second bathroom would be beneficial if all the guests are not "family" yet we did not find it a major problem as the WC and Bathroom were separate. Bridgetown is a great town to visit and is an easy "weekender" distance from Perth. The surrounding area is spectacular. We will be back.

We had a wonderful vacation! The kids loved the garden and the house. The house was clean and well lit. The location of the house is perfect too. Highly recommended if you are traveling with family and kids!

Sasha kindly upgraded us from the cottage to the main house for our mid-week stay. The home is totally unique with Donnybrook stone walls and quirky French inspired decor. The beds were so comfortable and waking to the noises of bird song glorious. X

The place is amazing with beautiful view and amazing theme. The property boosts traditional values of 1920 life style.

Thank you for the wonderful home! It is very cozy, clean, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a great time here. Just a couple of small notes: the bathtub drain doesn’t close tightly, so the water slowly drains away — which is important in terms of environmental care. Also, we noticed some mold inside the shampoo bottle; perhaps it’s a characteristic of the product, but we thought we’d mention it. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would love to come back!

Beautiful modern house on a stunning property. Great for both summer & winter stays. Comfortable, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The driveway to the house is gravel, extremely steep, curved & potholed. The pool area is stunning & spacious, the pool itself is one depth the whole way, isn’t overly deep & you can’t ‘jump’ in, just be aware if you’re travelling with kids; it’s not the sort of pool for bombies!

Beautiful home in tranquil countryside. The location is idyllic. We spent hours on the decking enjoying the views, listening to the wildlife and star gazing. It was the perfect spot to relax after a fabulous day of spectacular sightseeing. We appreciated the quality of the furnishings and decor alongside the relaxing feel of this home. A definite winner with us.
