Fantastic Holiday with this place.

We stayed here as we had a wedding to attend at Whaplode Manor. The cabin is so beautiful and we really enjoyed our weekend here. It’s even better than the photos show, it’s very clean and has lots of lovely little touches! We also went on the boat which was a very fun little extra! I would really recommend this place to anyone and would love to visit again in the future!

Fantastic experience staying here and Amie was friendly and polite, would recommend if you’re looking for something quiet away from the city. 😁

Had a fabulous evening and night at Ellie's place, the space is very large yet also cosy and welcoming - we loved the wood burning stove! Great comfy bedrooms as well. Would recommend without hesitation. Thanks Ellie!

I have so say top class accommodation, in a quiet village. When we arrived at the accommodation, Vicki greeted us warmly and asked if we needed anything. We took our 2 dogs and they were very happy with the space outside of the property to be able to roam around and play, and Vicki didn't mind at all even though it shares a parking area with her visitors too. The property was immaculate, very clean and had all the amenities needed. The property has high ceilings with the beams from the barn still in place which makes it feel very spacious. It is very modern and nicely decorated and the bathroom is very clean. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place, we sat outside in the little garden in the nice sunshine from the weekend and it was heaven, not a sound to be heard, perfect! I highly recommend this property to anyone who considers staying here you won't be disappointed and the price is on point too. Thank you Vicki you are amazing!

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

What can we say about The Hideaway, and Sophie as our host? It is idyllic, and she has added such thoughtful touches.. like a Speedi ninja air fry, which allowed us to cook dinner each nite within 15 mins. The cupboards in the kitchen are well stocked, and they haven’t scrimped on quality.. copper saucepans, pretty wine glasses. It’s just those little touches that add to an already perfect ambience. Sophie even left extra blankets, plus hot water bottles in the bedroom.. although we enjoyed a lovely ambient stay, with their first of the summer sun this weekend. Her husband popped over on our first evening with an extra hand-towel & to reassure us (as the water in the toilet basin was quite high.. this is normal, and not to be worried about). He also thoughtfully pointed out the wood store & fire pit, which we used both nights. All in all, we could not have asked for a more beautiful stay or more welcoming hosts. Thank you so much Sophie. Truly gorgeous. We would LOVE to go back
