I recently stayed at Ronilyn Inn, hosted by Ronilyn, Carsten, and Keith. Carsten was very responsive, and Keith seemed to oversee everything. The house is modern and well-equipped, located in a vibrant Filipino neighborhood. One unique experience was witnessing a vigil, or "amay," which is a traditional wake for the deceased. It was interesting to see the community come together to honor their loved ones. I also enjoyed visiting the nearby D&D Resort for its tranquility and privacy. If you're looking for a modern home in a traditional setting, Ronilyn Inn is a great choice. The local community, including caretakers Regina and Gini, were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Ronilyn Inn for a blend of comfort and cultural experience.

The house was exceptionally clean, with excellent air conditioning. The host was incredibly kind, highly accommodating, and provided flexible check-in, making the stay truly enjoyable. A well deserved 5-star experience!

Didn't have to worry about a thing! The rooms were fully equipped and very spacious with everything we needed, and the essentials were all high quality. Super convenient. 👍👍👍

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even brought us over a mini karaoke set when we mentioned hearing karaoke next door. The pool was refreshing, and it’s a super short drive into town. Highly recommend especially if you’re renting a car.

We had a lovely stay and our host was so helpful. The location is pretty far from town and we didn’t plan on that but with a scooter you can get around easily. We had the best driver while we were there. He took us to the whales sharks, into town for groceries and to dinner. We stayed 3 nights and he was so helpful. Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Kleiner abgelegener Strand vor der Haustür (mit Schildkröten, Achtung aber viele Treppen zu gehen), Tumalog Falls und Waleshark Area sehr nah und auch mit einem kleinen Fussmarsch zu erreichen. Ansonsten fahren auch Busse direkt vor der Tür, mit denen man überall hingelangt. Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen dafür sehr privat. Der Host war zudem sehr nett und hat und mit der Buchung unserer Touren toll geholfen! Danke dafür! Ich kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Rigil Kent's house is exactly as described in the descriptions. Kent described the house, the surroundings, and the island so well that there is no comment left to add. I recommend that you read Kent's description carefully. Apart from the description, Kent was a wonderful host and even a friend beyond being a host. I am incredibly pleased to have met him. As a host with three Airbnb apartments, I have learned a lot from Kent's service. We will try to provide some of the services we receive to our guests in our own apartments. I will definitely stay at Kent's place again and continue to comunicate with him as a friend. Our days were very pleasant with Kent's garden, chickens, and the fresh eggs his chickens laid. We rented Kent's motorcycle at a very affordable price for about two weeks we stayed at Kent's place. You can inform Kent in advance that you need a scooter. Don't miss the opportunity of this beautiful house on this beautiful island in the middle of nature.

Claudine’s place was excellent for family and groups. The place was very clean, fresh linens, private and very safe. Cherlyn was very nice, friendly and very accommodating. A great host. Both bedrooms in the main floor have an air conditioning unit including the living room which made our stay comfortable during the day. However, in the evening the power was out as the electric cable outside was cut due to rain. Since the place is located north of Dumaguete, the weather is a bit cooler at night as long as the windows are open. Overall, we had a great stay at Claudine’s place and we would love to rent this place again in the future. A very special thank you to Cherlyn for being a great host.
