This was our second stay at Alessandra’s Casa sul di Mare. We have only done the same AirBnB at this special place since traveling. It is the best location for the view and allows our daughter to play all day on the beach while we can see her right from the room. It has the best restaurants within a block and entertainment. It is historical and makes you feel like you transported back in time. Alessandra is a beautiful host and had the best recommendations for Cefalu. She was very helpful when our daughter was not well and offered to arrange for her to see a doctor. Only in Sicilia do you have such compassion and welcoming hosts like Alessandra. Grazie mille ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!

I stayed for 2.5 weeks at this flat, working during the week. It was an excellent space, really nicely designed and with all I needed for the duration. It’s really well located - right in the centre of the city, so walkable from great bars, restaurants and the energy of Palermo. Palermo is quite loud at night, and the double glazing on the windows is pretty good - but if you have trouble sleeping the centre of Palermo probably isn’t for you. The balcony is lovely and gets the sun most of the day - perfect for morning coffee. Everything worked and Gabriele was responsive and flexible, and helped whenever I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Die Zeit bei Stefania war wunderbar. In Mondello hat uns alles erwartet, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Das Wetter war toll und wir konnten baden, sehr gut essen und auch wandern und Sightseeing war möglich. Palermo ist mit dem Bus unkompliziert und sehr regelmäßig zu erreichen. Nach gut drei Stunden Fahrt waren wir am Etna. Eine rundum gelungene Woche.

Apartment mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Großzügige Räume, gut eingerichtet, gute Betten. Küche top ausgestattet, absolut alle technischen Geräte haben gut funktioniert. Nicola war ein großartiger Gastgeber - immer erreichbar, super flexibel bei Check In und Check out, sehr hilfsbereit und mit guten Tipps. Als ein einmal die Heizung/Klimanlage nicht wollte kam Nicola in wenigen Minuten persönlich vorbei, organisierten einen Techniker und blieb, bis das Problem gelöst war. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Gastgeber wünschen können. Tolle Sandstrände in der Nähe. Parken beim Apartment an der Straße ohne Probleme.

Lovely apartment right at the heart of this beautiful coastal town. Large balcony gets the sun all day. Apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need. We had a very enjoyable stay! Could use a couple more pillows on the bed and a couple of loungers on the balcony.

First time in Syracuse - we chose Salvatore’s place as it is perfectly located in the beautiful Ortigia island and looked both smart and with a small outdoor roof space. We were not disappointed! The place is perfect, tasteful and suited us really well (a couple). Great bed and shower, good facilities in the kitchen and everything is literally spotless. The small balcony/ roof space was delightful to sit outside in the morning sun or evening. The location could not be better as it is literally within 5-10 walking distance from beautiful sites, the sea and great restaurants. Salvatore was really helpful and friendly - assisted us for example on booking a space for our car very close to the house, recommended restaurants etc. You will be lucky if you get to stay in this lovely place in gorgeous Syracuse!

Our early April 2025 10-day stay was great! The property was exactly as shown on the listing site. An updated, well maintained, very clean, bright, lovely place in an absolutely beautiful setting. It was an easy walk to activities, sites and restaurants in both Siracusa and Ortigia. The host was helpful and responsive. It's one of the nicest places we've stayed in 20+ years of international travel. We highly recommend it to others.

Salvatore is a perfect host. He was extremely welcoming. He kindly informed us on the day of our arrival that the apartment would be ready earlier and was there to greet us. The flat was immaculately clean, had all the things we needed, including a lovely roof terrace. We loved the colourful furniture matching the beautiful tiled floors. It was a pleasure to hear about the family connection and history of the house. One of the big advantages was the car park as parking in Cefalù is not easy. The apartment is quiet and only a short walk to the historic centre. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and highly recommended Salvatore’s home.

Eine einfache aber wunderschöne Villa mit viel Platz, mehreren Terassen und einem wunderschönen und unverbautem Blick auf das Meer. Von dort kann man zu Fuß oder auch mit dem Auto die Gegend erkunden und man kann jeden Tag etwas neues entdecken. Sei es das Castello, den Capo Milazzo oder das alte und neue Zentrum der Stadt. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber auch das hat seinen Charme. Ja, es gibt keine richtigen Duschen oder eine Klimaanlage, aber das wurde durch die Aussicht, den großzügigen Garten und vieles mehr wieder wettgemacht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch Alessandra und ihre Familie. Superfreundlich, hilfsbereit und reagieren total nett und zeitnah auf Anfragen. Vielen Dank für 2 tolle Wochen auf Sizilien.

Our family really enjoyed our time at Francesca’s beach house. Every little detail has been thought of and these special touches added ease and comfort to our week long stay. We loved everything about the house from the decor to the proximity to the beach. We loved taking morning walks on the beach and seeing the pink flamingos flying overhead. Francesca was always very responsive if we had questions and went above and beyond to ensure that felt at home and had a lovely stay!

Wij hebben de verjaardag van mijn man en de feestdagen in de comfortabele villa van Fulvio doorgebracht en er een heerlijke periode genoten. Het huis was heel schoon en ruim en de benoemde voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Er is een restaurant (Graffiti) op loopafstand van het huis, maar voor de overige voorzieningen, zoals een supermarkt en dergelijke, zou ik toch een huurauto adviseren. Een aanrader is Mondello beach, zelfs in de winterperiode is het er goed vertoeven. Palermo stad ligt op zo'n 20 autominuten vanaf de villa en het vliegveld op ongeveer 25 minuten met de auto. Er zijn diverse (historische) bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, dus je hoeft je er niet te vervelen. Fulvio zelf is erg behulpzaam en reageerde heel vlot wanneer we een vraag hadden. Wij zouden deze plek en host absoluut aanraden.

Kleines, aber feines Apartment, das ich gerne empfehlen kann. Francesca war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann die Stadt von dort aus gut zu Fuß erkunden. Parken konnte ich umsonst auf der Straße vor dem Haus.

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

J’ai passé un très bon séjour avec ma maman. Nous avons même vue le volcan en activité depuis le jardin et nous pouvions avoir des oranges et citron du jardin. Idéal pour venir en famille

Wir (vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Salvos Apartment. Die Lage am Hafen ist einfach großartig, es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus und viele Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen und essen gehen. Danke, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften.

Marcella is a warm and responsive host. She allowed us to check in very early and her place was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.

excellent séjour chez Robin. Le logement est très beau, juste en face de la mer. un endroit idéal pour se reposer. Robin est un hôte super ! Très amical, il vous fait sentir comme à la maison.

Une des meilleures si ce n’est LA meilleure location que j’ai faite sur AIR BNB. Leti a vraiment été super accueillante et très utiles dans ses conseils et ses propositions de services annexes (transport aéroport, bagages, etc.) L’appartement est idéalement situé en front de mer dans le Mondello historique dans un coin très calme. Il est vraiment spacieux et fonctionnel et très bien orienté (le soleil le matin sur le balcon, c’est le rêve) avec une vue sur la baie 😍. Si je reviens à Mondello, c’est sur je rappelle Leti !

Great place right in the middle of everything, but not loud in the evenings. We had a great stay, and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Enricos apartment. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us to (a family with 2 boys 10 & 13) be very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect with just a short walk to beautiful and affordable bars and restaurants. Panificio Bakery below the apartment was the real Cherry on top when it came to having beautiful fresh pastries for breakfast on the spacious balcony. For those interested in the Culture & History of the Island Enrico provided perfect information of how to get there etc and was always very responsive if we needed a little help via text message. Mondello is an excellent base for a holiday to Sicily with good transport links everywhere. Finding free local parking close to the apartment for our hire car was easy. We give Enrico & his apartment 10/10 for everything and would definitely use it again. Thank you, Enrico, for everything.

Appartement très agréable. Refait à neuf. A 2 pas de la plage et surtout de l'arrêt de bus (rotation toutes les 15 mn environ) ce qui permet d'accéder à Lipari rapidement et de là partout sur l'ile ou sur les autres iles. Lorenza est très accueillante et très réactive. Je recommande vivement.

Angela war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Kommunikation mit Angela war sehr angenehm und einfach. Sie empfiehl uns für den Abend direkt unten am Strand die Pizzeria aufzusuchen, diese war wirklich top und sicherlich die beste Pizza des gesamten Urlaubs! Die Wohnung und die Terrasse gefiel uns sogar besser wie dies von den Fotos ersichtlich war. Es war sehr sauber, die Küche war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Ebenso das Bad, welches auch über eine Waschmaschine verfügte. Rundum war es eine super Wohnung mit einer tollen und ruhigen Lage, wenige Meter vom Zentrum Balestrate entfernt. Ebenfalls war es toll, dass die Wohnung weniger Meter vom Strand entfernt war, sodass man mit einem Bier oder Wein auch mal einen schönen Sonnenuntergang am Strand genießen konnten. Sollten wir uns nochmal für ein paar Tage in Balestrate entscheiden, würden wir nicht zögern und sofort gerne wieder bei Angela in der Wohnung unterkommen!

Wir hatten einen rundum wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Walters Unterkunft. Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt – die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist einfach traumhaft und hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Walter war ein außergewöhnlich hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er hat stets schnell und freundlich auf unsere Fragen reagiert, uns mit großartigen Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants versorgt und war jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend. Seine herzliche Art hat unseren Urlaub bereichert und wir haben die Zeit wirklich in vollen Zügen genossen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank, Walter!
