Place was great to say with view of mountains outside. We stayed there for 3 nights and 3 days and it was very fulfilling. Homestay had all the amenities required for a family and host Sabita Mam was very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to her for being such a great host. Only con which I felt was the approach to the home stay from the road which is only applicable for pregnant women, small walking children and old persons. This would be positive for those who are fit to walk on the stairs of hills and would give you a direct connect with the village. If you require taxi from Airport to homestay and for local sight seeing, it is available on one call with the help of host Mrs. Sabita. The homestay is situated on the private part of the city which is quiet and serene. Always keep this homestay in your list while shortlisting your stay in Gangtok.

This property is extremely beautiful. The host let us do the early check in and was helpful throughout our stay. The other people looking after the property and the kitchen were really nice. The home cooked meals and tea shouldn’t be missed when visiting here. They also lit a fireplace for us so all in all great experience..will definitely come back for sure in future.

We had a fantastic stay at Mr. Chandra’s place in Gangtok! He was constantly in touch with us ensuring a smooth arrival. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The room was cozy, spotless, and perfect for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the absolutely wonderful home-cooked dinner — delicious, wholesome, and made with so much care. Mr. Chandra goes above and beyond to make his guests feel welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Gangtok!

I agree with the two comments made by previous travelers : a homestay with warm, charming hosts who cook and serve tasty, organic local meals (vegetables grown on site). It was so nice to have meals without smartphone around, with the family favors real exchanges around the table. The room I stayed in was spacious, bright and comfortable. The house is not in the village, but Aditya organized all my transport when I needed to move. He looked after me like a member of his family and cared about my well-being. In my previous Airbnb bookings, I have rarely seen hosts so attentive to their guests. I highly recommend this homestay, especially for people who love nature, simple living and human interaction.

We had a wonderful stay at Sonam's place in Gangtok! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and suggest places to visit around the city. The caretaker, Nima, was outstanding—always available and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was delicious, homely, and very affordable—just what we needed after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga right from the property—absolutely mesmerizing! Highly recommend this place for groups of friends, families, or couples looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in Gangtok. 😊

I had pleasant experience at Angila's place. She is a very helpful host and often went out of way to ensure my needs are met. She also runs a cafe adjacent to the AirBnb. I was here for a workcation and I would work at the cafe. Although there is no desk in the room, it worked out perfectly for me. WiFi at her place was super fast and reliable. Highly recommended if you would like Himalayan serenity and quietness. Slightly difficult to get a cab if you want to get around but Angila ensures her guests get all the help.
