It was one of the best air bnb stays yet. The house was well equipped and in a convenient location. Most importantly the host was so helpful in providing us help in all ways she could. We had a short weekend trip and it was everything we needed- clean amenities and a quite comfortable place. The host, Nindiya, is a gem, kind and very genuinely helpful. Her place is def on our list for anytime we are in the area.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Raha Stays in Ghoom, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cottage is beautifully located with an absolutely stunning view right from the rooms—perfect for a peaceful escape from city life. The surroundings are serene, and the property is spotless, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Our host, Girish, was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of the way to assist us with local cab contacts and suggestions. It really made our trip smooth and stress-free. This place is a hidden gem and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended, especially for a group of friends looking for a cozy, scenic getaway in the hills!

A very beautiful place to stay, calm and safe with lots of birds around, and just a short walk to the center of Darjeeling. I stayed at the beginning of March, and unfortunately, there was almost no view due to cloudy weather. However, it was still a great stay, and I loved the place. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly, happy to help with anything you might need. For example, I asked for a softer mattress and it was provided in just a few hours. They also recommended a good travel agency that organized a jeep tour to Sandakphu, which I really enjoyed.

Our experience was truly delightful. Accompanied by my family, we found immense satisfaction with the accommodation. The caretaker, remained readily available whenever assistance was required. I wholeheartedly endorse this option for those seeking a tranquil retreat in the charming locale of Chaita Pani. We had an wonderful stay at Sangeetha's place during our recent Darjeeling trip. I have been visiting Darjeeling since long but hardly ever had such a memorable, unique and wonderful stay. We had stayed in Darjeeling for 2 nights (27th & 28th Dec, 2024) this time. Mr. Udaya, Sangeeta, Suravi all were very cordial, welcoming and ever helpful to make us feel right at home. They helped us to navigate to their place proactively, gave us a warm welcome once we reached there and ensured that we have everything almost at our fingertips during our stay. Udayaji's family has a rich history of literary contributions and he kindly showed us around his library and the museum which he himself maintains. This was so enriching for us. Sangeeta, though not keeping well, cooked us a very nice spread of breakfast which Sara(our kid) really enjoyed. Suravi was omnipresent and helping us. The place is also wonderful, peaceful and cosy. The view from the patio is amazing. Our heartfelt gratitude them.

Nandini was incredibly sweet and responsive throughout our stay. I was traveling with two elderly family members, and she took such thoughtful care of them, it truly felt like home. The property is nestled in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, offering the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The entire team, including Trifona, Anjali, and Binod bhai, was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at ease. The hospitality was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The private spring was the cherry on top, such a peaceful and unique experience. This place is a hidden gem and an ideal staycation spot. Highly recommend!

Our family trip become more joyous as soon we checked in JJ Trible Inn. Yes, the home stay was selected for our family holidays had fulfilled all our requirements with it's unique Tribal theme, aesthetically decorated, neat and tidy linen with all other required amenities really made us comfortable like home. The balcony had spectacular views of Mount Kanchanjanga holding the clouds around and Darjeeling City mesmerizing in morning mist and glittering in dark night. The personalized hospitality of hosts Mrs. and Mr. Munindra Lama with their cooperative, friendly and caring nature for all of us felt really nice and heartwarming. Seems like all our future stays are now pre decided for Darjeeling. Highly recommended to feel "Home away from Home".

We had a lovely stay at this super spacious 3-bedroom country house set within beautiful, expansive grounds. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and the architecture was truly stunning. The location is peaceful yet convenient, just a short drive from Kalimpong. One day we even made the scenic trip to Darjeeling, which was absolutely worth it, though we were glad to return to the tranquility of the cottage. The surrounding area is rich in history and culture. We visited nearby Tibetan monasteries, which felt very special, and even explored St. Mary’s School, founded by a Scottish man,such a fascinating bit of heritage. We stayed here for a little less than 2 weeks in mid - Sept. This was our first time in a homestay and we really enjoyed having the entire apartment to ourselves. For a long period of stay, a hotel room can get quite boring. The apartment was big and well- maintained and thoughtfully decorated. But the best thing was the view from the den , where the windows open on to the valley . We were able to witness the Kanchenjunga range in its full glory at different times of the day. The best way to spend time is to sit at the workstation and watch the sky and clouds while reading or painting. The caretaker Sunil was extremely helpful and took care of all our requirements in terms of arranging cabs and getting us our daily requirements of water etc. His wife Shikha is an amazing cook and her chicken chowmein and chicken momos were our favourites. She even learnt to make us dishes from you tube based on our requests. All in all, a memorable stay in a lovely apartment, and the host was very helpful in recommending points of interest and stayed in touch with us as if we were her personal guests . Highly recommend this homestay !

Really enjoyed our stay at Dorin's flat. The apartment complex is a community within the larger community of Uttorayon, both of which are peaceful and well maintained, like an oasis within the larger Siliguri area. It's also directly adjacent to Club Montana Vista, which is yet another oasis within the oasis of Uttorayon. With City Centre mall a short walk away, there are many restaurant and shopping options nearby. Dorin was very friendly and communicative, and her flat has many nice touches, most notably the lovely veranda/rooftop balcony. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Our stay at Nawang’s place was great. We shall rate him as super host. Hospitality of Nawang and his wife Ruhi always made us feel at home. They are very caring. My husband is having a knee problem. The way Nawang assisted him on our way to and back from Mall Road is highly admirable. Ruhi’s company in my total tour, I will treasure in my memories. Food was not only delicious but also prepared and served hygienically. Cleanliness in the homestay was highly maintained. Scenic view from the balcony was adorable. In future again if I visit Darjeeling I will choose to stay at Salakha Homestay. I will always refer others to choose Salakha Homestay if you want to have a very cozy homely environment, with good hospitality, delicious food and above all a good company i.e. a super host.

Sereneties home is in a peaceful location with a stunning view of the mountains and towns below. The caretaker Urgen is a superstar who does his best to assist where he can. The place is a bit far from the Mall Road (about 30 minutes walk) but is in a quiet neighborhood. The place is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Simply felt like a home away from home. Started off with a wonderful check-in experience, received a very warm welcome. They were always available for any help we required and always fulfilled all our requests. The food was great and had variety. The place was just as described in the listing and matched the photos as shown, with squeaky clean interiors, washroom and linens. They also went beyond just being a host and understood that we felt cooler due to the weather and provided us with warm water for drinking and hot water bags to warm the bed at night. The place is also at a great location at the heart of Mall, so be it hiring cabs for local sight seeing or restaurants it was always at finger tips. It’s opposite to the iconic Keventer’s hotel and very near to Glenary’s. Loved the overall experience and would definitely visit again.

Rohan's place was absolutely beautiful, just as he described. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His mother is such a kind and warm person, and she treated us to a delicious home-cooked dinner. Overall, our experience at Rohan's place was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend it!
