The apartment, it's clean and comfortable. The living room, bedroom and bathroom are downstairs, with a steep set of stairs leading up to the kitchen. And more steep steps from there leading up on to the roof terrace. This didn't bother me but it might be a little difficult for an elderly person. About the stay. I was slightly unlucky with the weather, which was variable, with a chilly north east wind at times. But it's winter time, so c'est la vie! There are two sun loungers on the roof terrace, so when the sun is out it's great to sit up there. You get a 360 degree panorama of the town. About the host. Ana Isabel was very welcoming. She went out to the local shop to buy a couple of things like sugar and a complementary can or two of beer after i arrived, which was nice. And she can recommend what to do in town and where to eat, if you require that kind of information. She was flexible about checking in and out times too.

We had an incredible 5 nights in Bruno's home. Can't overstate the property and location. Sitting on an estuary between Lagos and Alvor, the views and setting from the deck are incredible. Amazing sunsets. Just down the road is a small beach and the water is perfect for wind sports etc. The house itself is extremely comfortable and the details are well thought out. You can truly relax in this setting. Very comfortable sheets and bedding. Olga and Ivan and their young son live on the property in a separate apartment beneath the main house. They are lovely, incredibly helpful and prepare a wonderful breakfast. We had an excellent holiday in Bruno's home and would highly recommend.

Another wonderful stay at this fantastic home. The warm pool, relaxing steam bath, and cozy fireplace made for the perfect winter escape. Everything is thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. António is an excellent host, always available and welcoming. Highly recommend this place – looking forward to the next visit!

The villa was beautiful and very spacious even at maximum capacity. The bedrooms are all very spacious, the location is perfect, shops and supermarkets within a 5 minute walk and only 12 minute walk to the old town, I would highly recommend this villa and host. Perfect stay for 14 girls

The host was really nice, opened the door for us, showed us around, prepared breakfast. The location was clean, it is a nice, small traditional house in the courtyard of their home. Everything worked well, the host was always there for us, when we needed something. Beautiful house, beautiful garden, very friendly people, and it was located on a hill inside the village. Très bon accueil, hôte réactif. Le petit déjeuné est un vrai plus. Et très copieux ! Les deux chiens sont une agréable compagnie et nous ont bien fais rire. L endroit est calme et reposant.

Um espaço surpreendentemente agradável com os quartos limpos uma piscina óptima e um pequeno almoço cumpridor. A receção muito simpática as senhoras muito atenciosas e o restaurante ao lado muito bom qualidade preço. Só acho que devia ter mais utensílios de cozinha nos apartamentos, de resto nada a assinalar. Uma agradável surpresa, recomendo vivamente

Wir können uns den guten Bewertungen vollumfänglich anschliessen - Katja und Ed sind tolle und herzliche Gastgeber! Die Wohnung ist genial, liegt wirklich sehr praktisch und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben. Wir haben in den Restaurants im Ort super gegessen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Excelente moradia em zona residencial pacata, com boas opções de snack-bar e restaurantes nas redondezas. Oferta cultural no Clube Recreativo Pedra Mourinha a cerca de 300 metros, com concertos de rock regulares. O João Luís foi um anfitrião 5 estrelas, comunicativo, atencioso, sempre disposto a dar boas dicas e dois dedos de conversa. Recomendo vivamente!

A very comfortable and clean apartment. Great location within walking distance of Alvor centre, and a very friendly and responsive host in Lucibella.

Logement de qualité ou le calme était de mise pour du repos , équipement excellent et les 2 terrasses permettent de vivre en simplicité , les hôtes nous ont très bien conseillé , resto .. sortie .. etc l apt est conforme au descriptif

great place, i can see myself spend an entire trip staying there. so cute, theres a pool or you have the beach at 5min walks. plus they bring you breakfast in the am. 10/10

Fabio war ein sehr guter Gastgeber, die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich. Sehr schön eingerichtet. Hatte ein paar kleine Makel für uns. Aber wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohlfühlen können. Die Lage war gut, aber teilweise etwas lauter.

Jose und Anna waren sehr freundlich und haben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Es gab einen kostenlosen öffentlichen Parkplatz in der Nähe, den sie uns auch empfohlen haben. Das Zimmer war zentral gelegen und man war schnell in Zentrum oder am Strand. Das Frühstück war super lecker und vielseitig. Es gab sogar frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Beim Austausch mit den anderen Gästen hat man hier auch noch weitere Tipps bekommen. Der Pool war sogar größer und tiefer als ich erwartet hatte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! We were greeted in the most friendliest way possible. The property and room is modern and renovated without loosing its original touch. The hospitality was outstanding and we can not thank Mariana and her family enough for the lovely local tips, the food and the help they provided.

Une excellente chambre chez l'habitant. Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants, sympathiques, prévenants, calmes. Le petit déjeuner était rafiné et les produits frais tels que la délicieuse salade de fruits maison. Le jardin est paisible. Il ne manquait rien. Il y a 2 autres hébergements mais chacun a son espace et son intimité donc cela est très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement.

Mijn vriend en ik hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in Silves. We kwamen pas rond 23:30 aan vanwege een late vlucht. Dit was geen enkel probleem; de sleutel werd ons persoonlijk overhandigd. Dominique was echt heel aardig! Daarnaast kregen we super veel tips voor restaurantjes. Ook was het ontbijt goed verzorgd en de kamer was netjes en schoon. Tot slot is alles op loopafstand. We raden deze accommodatie zeker aan!

I stayed in the basic room which was exactly how it was described, however I have to say, although basic, it really was comfortable and had everything I needed, warmth, light, and although as stated small, it felt airy and roomy. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were so amazing I did want to leave my luggage and take one home (I didn't), but I slept very well. Rozaleen and Gino were very welcoming and Rozaleen's kindness was invaluable to me as a solo traveler. The breakfast was as previous reviews had stated, incredible, fresh and plentiful, so much love was clearly shared through the breakfast. The shower was very enjoyable and powerful. It is somewhere that I would immediately return to if I go back to Olhao for sure largely because of the lovely welcome and home from home feel. Thanks Rozaleen and Gino x

100% worth it. Yes, it's a bit out of the way but I couldn't recommend this place more. We stayed in Room #2 which I believe is the King adjacent to the pool. The decor was so well done. The breakfast is delicious and hospitality was amazing. We had an early bus ride back to Lisbon and Marlene packed us some snacks for our journey back which saved us a lot of trouble. Some small details that I don't think other people have mentioned, the water pressure is great in the shower and you won't have a problem with hot water. Simply a great experience here. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the horses across the field! Ubers are super cheap and they had no problem getting to this location. We rented a car for a day and had no problem parking. There was plenty of space and room for more. Couldn't recommend Marlene's place more and it was easily the best AirBNB experience we had in Portugal by far.

We had such a lovely time, this is the perfect accommodation to discover this part of the algarve. Natarcia is such a great host. she gave us so much tips for the neighborhood and provide a nice & diverse breakfast every day! 10/10 (also 2 friendly cats on the premises, which is a big plus as well)
