We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

We had the best possible time! Everything was as described, and Katrina was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it!

Fred’s house was great! The house’s open concept was large enough for all of us (6 adults) to hang out in through the cold winter days without feeling crowded. The fireplace added lovely ambience and warmth. The six bedrooms ensured we all had our own space, which was a nice treat for our girls’ weekend. The master bedroom with ensuite was particularly spacious. The whole house was nicely decorated, and overall was a cozy and welcoming place. We didn’t use the sunroom, as is unfortunately smelled of smoke. Fred was a very responsive host. He quickly answered any questions. We had a lovely stay here, and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend it.

Herb was an awesome host. Answered all the questions before hand within a matter of time , place was perfect for our weekend , also helpful to have a handbook of things to do , places to visit , local restaurants ect. Would definitely like to return in the summer for a stay on the water !

Michelle was one of the best hosts I’ve ever come across. She was super responsive, helpful and went out of her way to answer our questions and made us feel at home. The place seems newly renovated, very clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. It has a full kitchen with all cooking necessities. Great stay and will come back in the summer for lake activities!

This property and the hosts have renewed our faith in Airbnb's... The place was exactly as described, which was near perfect. They thought of everything...right down to the soft, rolled white towels on the beds. Everything worked, was very well maintained and simply awesome.

It felt like a true home away from home, with all the amenities we needed and more. The host Alon was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He was always available for all our questions , It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We had a short, but great stay! Carley is an amazing host who goes above and beyond. She is so quick to respond and leaves you wanting for nothing and feeling right at home. The place is so cozy with the added bonus of a hot tub to enjoy! We had a great time and really couldn't say enough great things about Carley and her home!

Beautiful view from the living room/kitchen/dining/deck area! In a very quiet neighbourhood but still close to downtown Penetang and shops and services. Kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals. Cosy and comfortable living room.

Tatiana and Tymur were wondering hosts. They really care for their guests and for their beautiful cottage. The large windows in the cottage really showcased the beauty of the outdoor space. There are many rooms with comfortable beds and three washrooms - all well equipped- which was great as we were traveling in a larger group. The kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the large family living room, they even had extra games for us to play. Everything was kept tidy and clean. We all felt comfortable and at home. The family was already asking to come back in the summer! Thank you again ☺️

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

The cottage setting was spectacular! Quiet and peaceful with the amenities my group loves - big, comfortable common spaces, a large kitchen, and rooms for private, peaceful sleeping. The wood burning fireplace was a real treat.

Wonderful stay, 2nd time going back, and will continue visiting. Very warm and welcoming couple. House was very cute with a special letter and treats upon arrival. Ice fishing was also great 👍

Beautiful property on Lake Simcoe with more than enough room for everyone we absolutely loved our stay and requested to stay longer but unfortunately it was committed to other guests. Great hosts, great communication. This property is the place to stay if you are looking for a spacious, lakefront property with privacy in Innisfil which is very hard to find. Highly recommended!
