Lage ist sehr gut innerhalb von 1. Auto Minute am Strand. Der Aussenbrerreich bietet sehr viel Platz was besonders auch praktisch für unsere Kinder und Hund war da alles eingezäunt ist. Gastgeber hat uns seine privat Nummer gegeben und war somit jederzeit erreichbar.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr stillvoll, sowohl der das Gebäude selbst als auch die Einrichtung haben uns sehr gefallen. Man merkt das sich da jemand sehr mühe gegeben hat. Selbst das Kinderspielzeug war schön. Auch ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet, die Küche hat sogar eine Salatschleuder und eine Teekanne mit Sieb. Wie zuhause. Auch die Betten waren super, Matratze und Kissen waren sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist in Ordnung, der Weg zum Strand zumindest rechts lang ist nett. Man braucht ca. 7-10 Minuten zu fuß zum Meer. Ein kleiner und sehr sympathischer Supermarkt liegt um die Ecke. Die Lage an sich ist aber nicht allzu nennenswert. Es ist ruhig, trotz Straßenlage, dank des Vorgartens ist da genug abstand. Die Kommunikation war schnell und effektiv, allerdings war die Nachrichten Flut fast schon Spam, auf die Empfehlungen hätte ich verzichten können. Es ist ja nnicht so das es da am Örtchen soviel gibt. Wir würden jedenfalls wieder kommen.

Pasamos unos días de auténtico relax en este lugar. La casa es muy acogedora y bastante próxima a los lugares que queríamos visitar. Tenía todo lo necesario para estar como en tu propia casa. Y los anfitriones siempre pendientes de todo incluso si no nos poníamos en contacto con ellos, se preocupaban de nuestra comodidad. Gracias por todo

Really great relaxing stay at Elsa’s gorgeous place. The flat is brand new and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is great, easily accessible to so many sights and beaches and not far from Lisbon.

Hemos pasado los últimos días del año en esta preciosa casa, disfrutando de sus atardeceres y maravillosa tranquilidad en este lugarcito de la Costa atlántica!

Claire ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin; das Haus liegt wunderschön und ruhig mit Blick auf das Meer. Da wir sehr schlechtes Wetter hatten, war es auch im Haus kühl, das sollte aber normalerweise kein Problem sein.

We zijn een maand in het huis van Margarida geweest en hebben het goed gehad! Er waren vanuit het huis leuke weggetjes te ontdekken om te wandelen en de omgeving biedt sowieso een heleboel moois! Je bent zo in Sintra, Ericeira, Colares, Lissabon… we waren ook bij het Middeleeuws festival in Obidos. Met de auto kom je op de meest fantastische plekken; kastelen, tuinen, kloosters, en de adembenemende kust. Het huis zelf was sfeervol en we hebben genoten van de LP’s, de mooie boeken en de dieren! Jane, de hond, was erg lief. Het varken en de schapen kregen met regelmaat ons oude brood en de restjes. Onze jongens baalden dat de wifi de slaapkamers niet bereikten, maar voor ons alleen maar pluspunten. Margarida was de ideale gastvrouw. Lief en betrokken. Dank 🙏

Nous avons passés un super séjour dans cette magnifique villa, très bien équipée et idéalement située dans un endroit paisible proche de la mer. Elle est idéale pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Manuel est sympathique et réactif, nous recommandons vivement :) !

What a fantastic place. Spotless and felt very much like home. Weather wasn’t great but sure that’s out of everyone’s control. I would suggest having a car only because the microclimate meant you need to go over the mountain to find the sun!!🤪

La maison de Mário est idéalement bien située pour découvrir la région de Sintra et pour profitez des plages. Nous étions situés à 5min en voiture de la plage la plus proche et avons ainsi pu alterner plage et piscine. Les enfants ont grandement profité de la piscine et du jardin. La maison de plein pied est grande et adaptée pour les familles avec enfants. Mário est un hôte très sympathique et qui est resté disponible pendant tout le séjour pour les différentes questions que nous avons pu avoir. Nous recommandons sans autre cet hébergement.

Super Unterkunft mit wunderschöner Lage und tollem Ausblick auf das Meer. Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit mit 13 Personen. Besonders schön war die groß Küche, das Wohnzimmer und die tolle Terrasse. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We loved our time here - remote location with views of the sea and hills. The gardens and pool are exquisite and the bbq area a dream. We enjoyed visiting nearby beaches ericeira and Lisbon. Thank you to you and Hugo for being such great hosts.

This is a magical place, meticulously cared for in every detail. We greatly appreciated the vegetable garden, the big outdoor space with the scents of spices and many nice activities for kids, the hot tub, the herbal tea made with garden herbs upon our arrival and the beautiful collection of children's books. We had such a relaxing weekend that recharged us! We highly recommend this accommodation, especially with your bambino :) Thank you, Dean!

A beautiful spacious villa in a great spot on a fabulous stretch of coastline. Atlantic sea cliffs and soft sandy beaches. Great surf beach vibe - great lessons from Praia Grande surf school, and very lovely restaurants. Good climbing nearby -sport and bouldering- and Sintra boulder shop for mats etc. The hosts Gonzalo and and his Mother were really welcoming, very responsive when we had a question and gave us helpful recommendations about local amenities. Beds were comfortable, showers all excellent with plentiful hot water. The kitchen was large and well equipped for cooking for a big team. The pool table, bbq and indoor pool were great fun when we needed a sociable break with teenagers from the glorious Portuguese sunshine! Thank you both. We had a wonderful stay.

Miguel’s house is a bit further outside of the small city center, next to a gas station and the parking lots of the market. The Main Street runs directly in front of the house, so that it’s impossible to stop here to carry the luggage to the house. The beach is in a walkable distance where you find a view cafes and restaurants. The house itself is pretty new with a nice and bright furniture. Unfortunately if it rains there’s no place to eat. The only table is outside and gets pretty wet from the rain. The high chairs are a bit too high on the kitchen table. Another thing is that people who pass the house can watch inside the sleeping room. There are no curtains, either you close the (very beautiful) shutters and it’s totally dark or people can see you laying in bed. The whole house has a beautiful design. Everything was spotless clean with a good smell. The small garden is very green and well treated. In total I can highly recommend Miguel’s place.

we had a wonderful time at this spacious, comfortable house. The view of the Atlantic ocean which is two minutes walk from the house made the difference, as well as the super hospitality of Maria and Joao. we highly recommend this listing and we are already planning our return to Portugal and Colares. I went with my whole family including my elderly parents and my children. We met Vasco at the door and he was very kind and helpful. We had a few issues with a taxi driver whom tried to rip us off and over charge us enroute to our accommodation. Luckily Vasco was there when we arrived at the place and he spoke to them and helped us out! Vasco always replied back when we needed advise or help. The place was beautiful it was very specious and the view of the sea was absolutely breathtaking from the living room. We would all eat at the table and admire the beautiful view it was so peaceful. The neighborhood was also full of friendly people. The children loved it too! Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Magoito Sea Sight was absolutely wonderful. The house met all of our needs and Angela was an excellent host. She was very kind, helpful and attentive. She provided everything that we requested and always met us with a smile. We would highly recommend this home!

This is our second time to stay here and once again it was a delightful, comfortable place to stay and extremely clean. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The home is was well decorated with original photography and painted art. The location and views are unbeatable.

This has been, by far, one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had (if not the best). Isabel welcomed us into her home so warmly that we immediately felt at ease, as if it were our own. Isabel’s house is beautiful and cozy; as I told her, it’s now part of our family memories—those that never fade away. Every corner of the house is an invitation to discovery: a new perspective on nature, art, and the creative use of objects. The sea is ever-present, and the sunsets from the living room, warmed by the fireplace, while reading Carl Sagan or Asterix (be warned, Isabel’s library is in Portuguese 😉), are priceless. Thank you so much, Isabel, for everything. We hope to return someday.

We loved our time at Madalena and Carlos' place. The cottage is the most lovely place to relax. It was perfect to be easy walking distance from everything while also being outside of the crowds of old Sintra.

We had only one night here, but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this amazing place! The house is spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher, and the dining area is beautifully set. The BBQ zone is fantastic, with two grill stations and an outdoor kitchen. Walking to the beach is lovely, and the nearby village is perfect for a relaxing glass of wine. It was also great to find essentials like salt, sugar, and cooking supplies. Just be sure to read the parking rules! Perfect for families with kids or two couples. We’d love to come back!
