Joao was an excellent host and we had an amazing stay at his place. He provided us with a very in depth guide of things to do in the area and was super responsive anytime we had a question or needed anything. The apartment was more spacious than it looked in the pictures and instantly reminded me of staying in a family members home. Would absolutely stay here again! The only “downside” is that it is farther away from Lisbon city center so we ended up taking Ubers to get to a lot of the activities we wanted to do but even with that, they weren’t even that expensive. We even took a 40 min Uber ride to Sintra from the air bnb and it only cost us like €20ish so it was worth it. Overall, we loved the place and definitely recommend ! 😊

Pedro was a wonderful host who even shared a dinner with us at a local restaurant and served as our translator. He was quick to to respond when we needed information. His home was very comfortable with great beds and all the kitchen needs. The area was great for all the things we needed to spend a Christmas. Definitely recommended!

Recomendo, os anfitriões são super atenciosos. O apartamento fica próximo do metrô, o que facilita no deslocamento para Lisboa. Além disso tem próximo supermercado e parque para as crianças.

The apartment was extremely clean and well appointed. The location is in the heart of Sintra. Across the street from the bus stop to Pena Palace, which you'll definitely want to hop on if you're planning a tour. It is also walking distance to other main tourist attractions. The property is also close to shops and restaurants, just down the stairs and around the corner.

Great location and access to the train. Sintra is hilly! Close to attractions. The apartment is pretty, very comfortable and sparkling clean. Good amenities for short or long stays. Small cars are preferable for this lot but with the train so close there are good transport options.

The apartment was nice and cozy, good for a group of four friends. The location was also convenient, close to the historic center. The host responded to messages and reacted quickly if there were any questions or issues.

We had such a great time in Filipe's place. The house is beautiful and lovely with all the equipment and amenities you need. The location is perfect, 40min drive to Lisbon, 20min drive to Sintra and Cascais, and 20min walk to the nearest beach. The surrounding area is so nice with green mountains, coastlines, good restaurants, and great markets. Filipe is a great host. He sent us the exact location before our arrival and walked us through everything in the house. He sent us tons of good information regarding restaurants and attractions around. We went to almost all the restaurants he recommended and everyone of them is great! Also he helped us connect with a few local caters and we had a great time interacting with them. Thanks again, Filipe!! Last but definitely not least, the local people are so kind and friendly. To my surprise, they all speak good English and communication is not a problem at all. I fell in love with the country and the people and will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Ricardo‘s place. It’s close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants and the house is situated on a large property with a pool in the back. I look forward to coming back in the summer! Ricardo was great as a host and Pedro was incredibly helpful to figure things out and provide local recommendations.

We loved our time at Madalena and Carlos' place. The cottage is the most lovely place to relax. It was perfect to be easy walking distance from everything while also being outside of the crowds of old Sintra.

We loved staying with Renee and Sage. Lots of room to spread out like a home. Convenient location that is central but out of center with a bit of road noise in peak hours. Very peaceful surroundings with a large tub and plush and ample towels. Wonderful kitchen appliances with room to work. Sage welcomed us and demonstrated the coffee maker and made suggestions for washer. He came to chat with us and suggested other options since Palaces were closed because of storm damage. We took his guidance and were happy with alternatives which made our stay memorable. We would definitely look to stay again when in the area.

Perfectly located on a peaceful street close to beautiful beaches, cute cafes, shops and great restaurants. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay was provided at the house. Since it is situated at the end of the street with no through traffic and the perimeter of the garden has tall trees and bushes it felt very private. Sun exposure for the house and grounds was good throughout the day so we were able to enjoy barbecues and the pool. Joana was very responsive and helpful for any questions or concerns we had. Highly recommended.

Rose was extremely responsive and helpful. The shower/bathroom was clean and spacious. The balcony and pool were the highlights of our stay. There are cafes and supermarkets within walking distance of the place and has everything you could need for your stay. Uber and bolt are super cheap to get to places around the city also. Loved our stay and would come back again in the future

This is a recently renovated, spacious, and accessible place in the middle of the Baixa área in Lisbon. Minutes away walking to many of Lisbon's greatest attractions (Baixa, Chiado, Alfama, arco de rua Augusta, etc.). The elevator made it easy to carry our large luggage. Plenty of restaurants and bars around. This place is recommended for any length of stay. Fully equipped kitchen and everything you need to make this a temporary home.

This place truly was a gem! It was clean and comfortable and spacious! Beautifully designed it really made you feel right at home. It was very walkable as well. We loved opening the beautiful windows to let in the cool air & hear the bustling streets at night! Would definitely stay here again!

Hanna’s place is wonderful and is in the best location in the city. Across the street from a beautiful park and a walking distance from great restaurants, cafes and bars. Hanna was a great host and was kind enough to provide us with a baby bathtub and even left a book and a toy.

We enjoyed a great week in Rafa’s apartment. We travelled with our daughter (1) and the apartment was perfect for our family, with a cot and high chair provided. The apartment was clean and spacious. Rafa was a great host, very friendly and full of local knowledge. Thank you Rafa for resolving the small external issue with the wifi! We would recommend for couples and for families.

The apartment was fantastic—very nice and perfectly located, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The rooms were quiet, ensuring a restful sleep. Barbara was an excellent host, making sure we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 small children. The hosts were very accommodating providing a crib and high chair for us and being responsive to messages we sent while there. The only challenge for us was the noise outside at night, due to the Christmas light show and street performers (this seems like a seasonal concern and wouldn’t keep us from coming back another time of year). The location was great otherwise, very walkable to shops, restaurants, metro stations. It made for a great vacation for our family.
