My wife and I enjoyed our stay and John and Deb's place over President's Day Weekend 2025 when overnight lows were -20. The place was warm and cozy especially with the wood burning stove. John was very responsive and went as far as getting on the phone to walk you through the place when we first got there. The place was peaceful, with no TV, so we are able to catch up on reading and play games. We did a hike at Zippel Bay State Park which was close by and did a day trip to the Northern Most Point of the contiguous US.

Great stay if you plan on doing some fishing on LOTW. Close to many resorts and accesses. This was the second time our group stayed here and it did the job perfectly. Did have some issues with communicating through evolve, would rather have direct contact with the owner from the start but otherwise no complaints and a beautiful place.

Just one minor complaint. We enjoyed hanging out in the basement game room except no bathroom down there so the elders had to go up the stair which were a little steep to use the upstairs bathroom. But all said and done it was a great place to stay. Nice house and great area. Thanks.

Perfect place for the family to stay on our ice fishing trip. We definitely overpacked, because the house provided pretty much all the things we packed aside from food. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean! The owner was responsive, helpful, and very nice. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Kim’s place is in a great location, easy to walk downtown. It’s very clean and comfortable, a great home away from home. She responded quickly to any question we had. We’ll stay here again.

The home is right on the lake and very comfy. We were there during the springtime and there was a huge blizzard, so it was very picturesque with all the snow. (Thanks to the owners for shoveling us out.) The spot has everything you need and was clean. A great location for exploring kenora.

Great place.

We were passing through Kenora for work and ended up staying two nights at Serena’s place! We enjoyed our evenings in the beauty that is the backyard, on the dock, and on the lake itself! Wish we were able to stay longer, thanks Serena for the great place to stay!

This was my second time staying and we had a blast! Ashley was very kind and very welcoming! It was peaceful and it had everything we needed. Great for family and friend to unwinded from the city life. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful cabin with lots of space great scenery right on the lake great place for a group of people to relax. Have fun and enjoy time together. The host was quick to response and great to communicate with. All had a good time!

We had a great stay at West Hawk for a weekend in March with our group of 8. It was a beautiful cabin with amazing views. The hot tub and pool table were a great addition for a winter stay and our group enjoyed the open concept living spaces with plenty of room for all of us. I would recommend bringing all food basics you need if you are planning on cooking in the space as we forgot some things. Overall would definitely come back for another stay, would love to use the dock in the summer.

What a great find for our annual fishing trip. The cabin was roomy with plenty of space for gear and people. The view is amazing. This cabin had all the amenities needed, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and warmth! Considering the temp was -25°F every night, that’s important. 🤜🏼 The local assistant Garth was also a treat. What a nice guy, helpful, and had great tips. We had a fun 5 night stay.

We stayed here for work to teach a workshop in Kenor. It was amazing! The home had enough room we could all connect together but also enough space and areas we could spend alone time and work. The house had all we needed and then some! We appreciated all the little touches like cooking oil and spices so we didn't have to purchase them. The view is amazing and the outdoor spaces (patio and porch) are so great to sit out and enjoy the weather and the view. The lake was still frozen so we couldn't enjoy the water crafts they had available but the work out area was so great! The basement is so cozy and a great place to chill out and watch a movie. We all can't say enough good stuff about this place! We hope we can stay here again for our next workshop!

Beautiful property right on the lake run by a lovely, friendly couple and their pup, Jack, who kept my dog company! The cabin is exactly as it looks in the photos, and is a perfect escape if you just need some time away. Cliff was onsite for most of the time I was there and was so friendly, asked me if I needed anything when he left for town and brought out a canoe for me to explore the inlet. This is a small community where loyal visitors have been coming for years, so it felt safe and friendly. The cabin was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed—and an awesome deal for the location and company—but like others have said, it’s not a fancy resort :) it’s a family-owned old log cabin. Enjoy it!

My family and I really enjoyed this bright, beautiful spacious home. There are so many large windows allowing so much light in! The kitchen window gives a panoramic view of the lake and trees. Games area was a huge hit for my family! Absolutely recommend. We hope to visit in the summer to utilize the fishing & swimming!

We absolutely loved the cabin from the moment we walked in. We felt immediately at home. It was so clean and spacious. We can’t wait to come back. The kitchen was well stocked and all the utensils and plates were of very good quality. The second bathroom was a total luxury, too!

One of the best Airbnb I have stayed till now. Would recommend this place to everyone.
