We loved staying in this beautiful region. It's close to the swimming hole, river and lake. Be had a great view of the mountains from the spacious and comfortable back deck. Since we have small children, it was nice to have access to laundry, bath tub, and a collection of kids DVD movies. The internet is Hughes, not Starlink, so the speeds may not be ideal if you need to telecommute or stream Netflix. Also, the peak heat season may be a bit less comfortable because there is no air conditioning. Overall, the house is spacious, well card for, and the host is kind.

Wonderful stay right on the river and a very short drive to beautiful hikes all around Shasta. Candace's guide covered everything we needed for a lovely weekend.

Penny and Mike’s place was perfect for our family! Our two teenage kids got their own rooms, and there was plenty of space throughout the house. The place was neat, clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed (plenty of towels, extra blankets, lots of dishes & kitchen gear, space to put our things, etc.) The neighborhood is quiet, and the house easy to find. Check in & check out was super easy. The heater by the entrance was powerful and could heat the whole house up if we left all the bedroom doors open. There was a space heater available for the one room in the back and my son did use that occasionally. We put our Netflix acct on their TV and that worked great for us. We skied almost daily at Mt. Shasta and the drive was straightforward. We got a lot of snow during our stay, but there is someone coming around to clean the roads so we didn’t need to use chains. It was a lovely stay. The location was beautiful due to the surrounding woods, and it was fun watching the horses, dogs, and wildlife. The house was roomy and had great amenities, and the kitchen was supplied as good or better than any Airbnb I have stayed in. There were plenty of games and a Roku to keep us entertained, which was nice since it rained most of the time we were there. Chrissy was courteous and responsive, and she gave clear instructions. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Our stay was INCREDIBLE. Our children were beyond excited to stay somewhere this fun. The entire home is very baby/kid/family friendly. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the walk to the falls was extremely short and easy for any age or need. The home felt very clean, comfortable, and had everything we could need and more. The ski park was a short 15-20 minute drive, with tubing, snow shoeing just down the hill, and free sledding with ample parking is just across the street from the road you turn on. Thank you for a perfect weekend away, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a cozy and comfortable place to spend the night in between hikes or camping. Surrounding hikes are nice and short with great views and the place is close to longer hikes ranging from 4-10 miles. Highly recommend staying here and the AirBnb far exceeds the price you pay for it. Value for money is through the roof.

We loved our stay. The place is older which adds to the charm. There are tons of amenities that are so welcoming. Lots of little details to accentuate the butterfly theme. If you like the outdoors, there is a lot of activities within a 30 minute radius. There is also a diner open 24 hours a day in town. I absolutely loved our time spent here. Absolutely peaceful. I didn’t need to connect the host because she reached out with a lot of information about the stay, location, activities & service first. Tons of towels, and definitely way more than the usual bare minimum. Snacks, coffee, towels, hot water. And YES, the tap water is spring fresh and delicious. Don’t miss trying it out. That was my favorite feature. ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Cave Spring's cabin. The location is beautiful and the property was well maintained and exactly as it looked like in pictures. The property management had also provided a booklet with great recommendations for local restaurants and adventures. Would recommend if visiting Shasta

We rented this cabin for an anniversary getaway and it was absolutely perfect. Being just a few minutes outside of town means that all sorts of amazing restaurants are easily accessible, which was perfect. However, the most amazing part is when you enter the cabin you feel like you are on a mountain top. Out every window all you see are trees and nature is all that can be heard through the open windows. The cabin was stock and we felt very comfortable, plus the bed was absolutely amazing and had the softest sheets we had ever felt. The host was incredible and every recommendation was spot on. We will ABSOLUTELY be returning, hopefully for a magical winter experience. Book this cabin, you will not regret it!

Close to some of the most beautiful river access I've ever seen. Perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, and a desire to connect with nature and wonderful people. Their dogs are also a 10 in the friendly scale.

Amazing place to stay when visiting Mt. Shasta! At first, we thought that there is no way the views looked like what the pictures were posted.. but seeing it in person.. no words can describe how peaceful and perfect the views are. Yes, the house was clean and big enough for groups and just complete with everything you need, but just seeing Mt. Shasta, unobstructed from the living room.. it’s magical. The host was very responsive and gave some recommendations on what to do and where to eat! Overall, would book this place again if visiting Mt. Shasta again :)

Great stay in a great location. Had all of the comforts and amenities we needed for 3 nights. Cooked half of our meals from our airbnb and the freeway access was awesome. Had a minor issue with the electric sockets in the twin room and the hosts were very responsive and prompt in fixing it. I will book our stay directly through their website next time to save on the additional fees.

This place was great! After a long day skiing it was the perfect place to relax! There was plenty of space for all of us. Very cute and beautiful deck!

Amazing place! Serene and beautiful, it's a cabin straight from a fairy tale. If you want to just disconnect from the world but still have all the comforts - this is the place to be. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again.
