Cute apartment in an historic building. An easy walk to downtown and we enjoyed being close to the railway, we love the sound of a train. (Light sleepers take note: there weren’t a lot of trains coming through but you do hear them when they do.). The king size bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and thick.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

Cozy, comfortable stay with 3 bedrooms in beautiful Mount Shasta. Sandra had great recommendations for dinner and hikes.

Kevin was a great host. Although there was an issue with this particular property, he very kindly extended an offer for me to stay in his personal home instead. This really helped me out, and was appreciated! The communication was excellent, via messages on the lead up, and once in person. He seemed genuinely interested in my trip, and was keen to give local recommendations for me to check out.

Fantastic location, super comfortable beds, amazing game room - we did not want to leave. My nephews had a blast playing ping pong and darts and the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances - and plenty of clean towels!

We had a GREAT stay at the River House. The home is beautifully & thoughtfully modernized to make it a very cozy place to stay. The charming historic rail town of Dunsmuir turned out to be very convenient to all the local sightseeing we planned - skiing, cavern tours & several beautiful waterfall hikes. We loved the Mt. Shasta area and hope to visit again!

Crystal's place is my go-to when traveling for business to Happy Camp. Always easy breezy and a great place to stay!

From the outside, this appears to be just like any other house, but a lot of love has gone into the inside, making this probably the nicest place in town! And it is a real home, not a bunch of cheap IKEA things. Spacious and taken care of. There is even a little “gift shop.” If you’re here, it’s for hiking the various mountain parks and trails. We were surprised that even in April, you could find a foot of snow, so pack accordingly. This is a century home, but with several modes for heating, making it warm and cozy.

I highly recommend this cozy, beautiful house to everyone. Great location, big yard. Very comfortable mattresses. We liked everything. Special thanks for the delicious wine and for letting me bring my dogs. They loved your yard!. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for our easy time in your house .
