We were absolutely happy with this beautiful accommodation. The view of the glacier was stunning, and at night, we enjoyed the starry sky and even the Northern Lights. Whenever we had any issues, we received quick and helpful support. The hot tub was an amazing highlight!

We loved our stay at Hrífunes! Such a special and remote spot. Comfortable accommodations and looked just like the photos. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub and saw a glimpse of the northern lights. Feels like a really special gem, super remote but still convenient to area attractions and Vik. Perfect for our family of four.

Jon & Linda's cottage was extremely peaceful. Located out in the fields, we were able to see the stars and northern lights at night! There were other people staying in cottages by us so we never felt like we were completely alone out in the field. Jon & Linda were proactive with communication and provided clear instructions to get to the cottage and get inside. Everything was clean with instructions and recommendations located in a binder. Theres a hot tub for use here too if you're into that! I highly recommend this cottage for others staying in Iceland and want a place to stop at on their trip!

Beautiful location. Very remote. Definitely go to dinner or grab anything you need before you head back to this place for the night. We saw the northern lights our first night which were beautiful. We never got the hot tub warm but knew that would be something for us to consider when booking. The sauna is wonderful however. Also, it’s not in the listing but this place has a washer/ dryer, two toilets, and 3 showers. We had an issue with one of the showers not draining our first night and someone came out to fix it within a few hours of us messaging them.

Inger's Airbnb is exactly as advertised. Northern lights included! This place is the perfect getaway if you're looking to blend in with nature while still enjoying top quality amenities. Highly recommend!

Bei jeglichen Fragen oder Problemen hilft sie gern und die Insider-Tips haben wir sehr geschätzt. Es ist immer interessant etwas über die Kultur, Menschen und die Umgebung zu erfahren. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft allen, die einen Stopp im Süden von Island einlegen.

Sehr gemütlich, man hat alles was man Braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Tolles Ambiente mit vielen Details in der Dekoration. Die Waschmaschine ist super praktisch. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet! Vielen Dank für alles.

We can highly recommend the cabin. It is very cozy, clean and well equipped – not only in the kitchen but also with games and puzzles. Communication was always really friendly and helpful. The cabin is spacious, very quiet and bright.

Orri’s place is amazingly quite and private. Good for a group of friends seeking for real Icelandic life. Definitely recommend this place👍

We travel a lot and have used numerous airbnb's or vrbo's. Agusta's "cabin" is easily in our top 3 ever. It was amazing! Lots of space. Well appointed. Fantastic kitchen and living area. Thought of everything. Loved, loved, loved it. Only slight negative is the long gravel road (+/- 10 mins) to get to the place, but if you want seclusion and darkness for the northern lights, that is an easy price to pay. The town of Vik is 30 to 40 minutes away. That is where you'll find the restaurants and grocery store, so plan ahead. Special bonus was introducing my children to a vinyl record player with a good selection of albums.
