Despite some hiccups in finding the right apartment, Einar gave us a newly renovated apartment. And Dolly was also very welcoming. Overall it is a very nice stop along the ring road.

The flat is cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need for a short and pleasant stay. The friendly locals are always happy to share their knowledge of the area and recommend the best spots to visit. Top tip: try the fish soup and the crème brûlée at Gísli, Eiríkur, Helgi - kaffihús , they’re delicious Overall, I highly recommend this lovely flat to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Dalvik

We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay in Hauganes. The apartment was neat and very clean, probably the cleanest rental we have ever seen. The location is great, you have access to restaurants, whale watching, art museums, hiking and more with just a short drive. Would certainly come back next time we are in the Akureyri area.

This is the only review you need to know about Michael's stay. He purchased this older and somewhat forgotten north Iceland home, dedicating his future to restoring it and running this B&B. The home itself is older in nature, and there is work being done on the lower floors. Tenants rent the space from local industry as well, with the 1st and 2nd floor being occupied. As you walk up to the third floor, the door lets you into this absolutely stunning apartment. Brand new furniture, a reading nook and view of the Fjords inlet, with plenty of heat in the winter to keep you from going outside. Bathroom with a stunning tub for a nice relaxing evening in as well. There is a washer which came in handy as we traveled light for our photo trip, with the majority of space taken by camera gear. The place smelt incredible as well, with natural wood and a hint of bakery (smelt like fresh bread in the apartment regularly) Would recommend, no doubt I'll be staying here again.

We spent 11 days in this cosy apartment and really recommend staying here. It is located in a quiet and beautiful area close to Akureyri. The beds were comfortable and we had everthing we needed. Anna and her team were always very friendly and helpful. Our daughters enjoyed the horse back riding very, very much. We would like to come back again.

Everything was great! We wish we could spend more time in the house :) The host arranged a hair dryer even though it was raining - I felt bad because she had to walk down for us. Thank you so much!!

Absolute Empfehlung! Kleine Wohnung mit super Aussicht im Norden von Island. Eine abenteuerliche Fahrt durch einen Tunnel. Wirklich sehr sauber. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.
