Wir lieben das Haus von Bjarni -es ist wunderbar gemütlich und so haben wir uns ab der ersten Minute wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders toll waren Hot Pot und Sauna (die Bjarni uns netterweise schon vorbereitet hatte, um uns nach der Walbeobachtung aufzuwärmen). Die gemeinsamen Gespräche und Verbindungen mit Bjarni und anderen netten Gästen werden uns in Erinnerung bleiben. Ein toller Ort -wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

We loved staying in Daníels cabin! He is an incredible host, friendly and helpful and welcoming. We felt comfortable and welcome from the start and he provided us with anything we needed. The cabin itself was very warm, spacious and had everything we needed and more. There were beautiful big windows all throughout the place where we could gaze outside at the stars and northern lights. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside and the sauna, and the location was peaceful. The perfect getaway!

Die Unterkunft von Gudrun war einfach wundervoll. Wir haben uns sofort rundum wohlgefühlt. Alles in der Wohnung war perfekt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders die atemberaubende Aussicht hat uns beeindruckt. Der Kamin sorgte abends für eine gemütliche, heimelige Atmosphäre. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis war der Whirlpool, in dem wir entspannten und gleichzeitig die Polarlichter bewundern konnten – einfach magisch! Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Ganz liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this lovely family home in such a beautiful setting. It was very clean and tidy and Jonas was the perfect host, always attentive to our messages. We would definitely stay here again.

Séjour inoubliable avec nos 2 filles dans une vallée au bout du monde sous la neige, accueillis par Mickael aussi chaleureux que l’ambiance de son chalet. Si vous aimez les grands espaces à l’écart de la civilisation, ce lieu est fait pour vous. Aurores boréales le premier soir, baleines à Davlik, bains chauds à la piscine de Davlik et des balades enneigées. Nous repartons enchantés. Merci Mickael.

La cabaña es hermosa, suoer cómoda, tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para estar esa tarde y noche. Logramos ver las auroras boreales allí mismo, el airbnb fue perfecto. El hidromasaje excelente más relajarse.

Excellent communication. Very flexible and helpful. Really convenient location adjacent to Route 1. Fantastic views out of the cottage window. Really clean with comfy beds - even the sofa bed was really comfortable. Very friendly dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Absolute Empfehlung! Kleine Wohnung mit super Aussicht im Norden von Island. Eine abenteuerliche Fahrt durch einen Tunnel. Wirklich sehr sauber. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

The cottage was small and quaint, but it was all my wife and I needed for one night! I don’t think I’d stay here for longer than one night. It is TINY inside, to the point we didn’t even bother taking our luggage inside. If I was in the area and needed a place to rest my head for the night, I’d stay again.

Our stay in Öxnadalur was one of the most impressive we’ve ever had. The house was charming and we felt immediately at home. The surrounding nature and view on the mountains is breathtaking! We spent hours sipping coffee at the fire place, while the wind and snow were howling outside or watching beautiful northern lights right in front of the door. Sif and Oli were always very helpful when we were asking for any help or recommendations. It is definitely worth a visit and a real adventure in winter times.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und warm. In der Küche gab es alles was man braucht. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe sind einmalig.
