Great getaway home. Very quiet and perfect for small group.

A wonderful, quiet off-grid experience out of the city. I personally was inspired by the entire place—a good reminder of how we perhaps once lived before the age of steel, concrete, and glass right angles everywhere.

My husband and I and our dogs had a lovely stay on Guemes Island! The cabin was just what we needed: peace and quiet and a great setting for napping and book reading. If you bring dogs, be sure to visit nearby Dog Woods aka Dog Heaven.

Our stay at Karen and Bill's quaint studio was both fun and relaxing! The studio's loft has a beautiful view and outside we were surrounded by a garden/yard with many beautiful flowers to admire. The kitchen is very well prepared for cooking and was stocked with all kinds of breakfast items, fruits, snacks and delicious coffee for the morning. It was also a warm surprise to find homemade lemon/raisin scones when we arrived. They were so delicious. The home was decorated and cozy and had lots of organic soaps in the kitchen and bathroom. We spent three wonderful nights and plan to be back on our next visit to Anacortes. The host was so nice and accommodating. My husband and I will recommend Karen and Bill's place to our family and friends should they visit the town of Anacortes. Great spot, close to the beautiful quaint little town of Anacortes and close to Fidalgo Bay too!! The studio was super clean, had all we needed. It was really quiet during the day and night. Would definitely recommend

The Tiny House Cabin was just as pictured and described and it made for a relaxing getaway in the woods for a weekend. Lots of artistic touches made it feel cozy and welcoming. Michelle & Peter's detailed directions were a great help for finding the cabin, even after dark. Just watch your odometer and take it slow as you make your way up the private dirt road, as there are a lot of potholes and muddy spots. Our stay was on the coldest weekend so far this winter, so we didn't get to try the outdoor bathtub, but the cabin stayed quite warm day & night, via a quiet propane heater. A nice stay.

We loved our getaway. The house had so much character and was really comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, etc. Sauna got nice and hot and the outdoor shower was great. Bed was surprisingly large and super comfortable. There are so many thoughtful details. We usually have to bring our own stainless steel cookware when we stay at other places since that’s something that’s important to us but this place was stocked with great non toxic options. The hosts are really friendly and communicative if anything does come up and the place is easy to find. The property is very private feeling, the perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem! We live on a 20 acre bluff view so I was excited to check out this spot! Wish we had more areas to hang dry towels and suits. Common area was so adorable and nice for snacks, ice , games! Fire pit. Top tier! I could sit there all day! Bed + pillows were so comfy ! I am 6 months pregnant so the worry of not sleeping was real!

This place is amazing!!! It’s just beautiful—spacious, clean, secluded—but very accessible!! It had everything we needed!!! Plenty of room for our family but still cozy and inviting.

Absolutely beautiful house, wonderful location on the lake. Everything was spotless and clean. Hundreds of little touches made this small house incredibly comfortable. Had a bald eagle fly by the window! Easy 20 minute drive into Mount Vernon. Loved the place and hope to be back.

This darling little lighthouse was the perfect place to stay for a solo hiking weekend! The Ship House is right in the middle between fabulous restaurants and shopping in Anacortes and Deception Pass, and even when a bit of a drizzle disrupted my adventure plans one day, the view from the top of the lighthouse and the communal kitchen were still lovely and peaceful. I can’t wait to come back soon!

Amazing stay at the Huckleberry Cabin over the Holidays! Darcy was super responsive from the very beginning and even gave me heads up about the ferry schedule regularly. Cabin itself was so beautiful, clean, very peaceful with spectacular views. If you need a getaway to rest and recharge, Huckleberry cabin is the place to be!!!

I loved staying here! It was such a nice relaxing and peaceful place. I would TOTALLY recommend it and would come back if I was in the area again. Also Heather was such a great host! She was very kind and quickly responded any time I messaged and I absolutely loved that she left a handwritten card for me when I walked in. It was really great! Thanks again.

I was hesitant to spend so much. It was not only worth it it was memorable and smelled so good. The tides the sound of the waves laping. Good folks with a slice of heaven on their doorstep.

Beautiful & serene - this is the consummate Pacific Northwest stay. The houseboat had all necessary amenities needed for our stay, our only wish was to stay longer!

Donna‘s space is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit my daughter. Donna is a wonderful host. She is really kind and helpful and her space is clean and beautifully decorated… I always check her place first before I head out to the West Coast in hopes that it might be available for another stay… This is the third time I’ve been to Donna ‘splace and I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend you stay here during a visit to Oak Harbor.

A great location for a weekend away to visit local beaches, hikes, bike trails, eateries and friends. The bed was comfy, the space was cozy, there was AC, coffee, hot tub and a thoughtful welcome basket. Such a peaceful break from the craziness of every day. Denise the host was very responsive and communicative. I will hopefully be back.

This was our second time staying at the Cabin and it was a great experience! Enjoyed being here over the holidays and having a quiet private space to relax. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The off-grid electrical system worked well during our stay. Rachel and Sarah were great hosts and very responsive to any questions we had.
