this was a perfect home to spend Christmas with my Family just felt like home with everything we needed, kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped with everything thats needed. and beautiful views of mountains plus close to make hiking trails thanks we had a great time as a family.

We had a group of 6 at the house and this worked about very nicely. Beautiful property, comfortable beds, and nice furnishings. Michelle was also very responsive before and during our trip. Would rent again.

Love this place!! Very private and plenty of space within the home and property to walk around and explore. Was lucky enough that it snowed the day before I arrived so that was a nice touch! The cabin itself was super nice and cozy - love the fireplace. View from the front door was amazing. Looks just like the photos. Recommend this place!

Perfect place for my wife and I to escape the city and recharge our batteries. We will return soon! DD

This is a beautiful historic looking home that has been updated to accommodate large families like our own. Sledding/skiing/snow boarding were about 45 min away and loads of fun! Shops/restaurants/cocktails were all within walking distance. Highlights were the view, the beauty of the home and, of course, the large Scrabble board on the lower level. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, two refrigerators, spices, and more. The beds were extremely comfy. The home was quick to warm up with forced air and a delightful gas fireplace (our trip was in January). Many thanks and we WILL be back! The hostess was very response and pleasantly accommodating.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Kika's place. You could see the river from the bedroom and it had everything we needed for our ~1 week stay. Very spacious place, and plenty of areas to sit and relax. We happened to hit a cold snap while we were there, but she had some puzzles that we could put together and we enjoyed the opportunity to just disconnect and relax. If you are working, the internet can sometimes be a bit spotty, but it was fine for our purposes.

This was our second time at Matt and Paul's. Location is primo. 1 Hour to Portland. 45 minutes to skiing. Within 15 minutes to 2 hours of the greatest outdoor awe inspiring visuals and activities Oregon and Washington have to offer. We even drove to the the pacific coast for a day. The house feels right at home with enough space to spread out and not get in anyone's way. We cooked in most days and nights and enjoyed many meals at the large table. Note: this is an older home restored to perfection, well done! Those traveling with older adults should be aware there are a few steps into the home but once in there is a first floor master with large bathroom. We enjoyed the large yard on sunny days. This is our family's go to when in Hood River. Very responsive hosts! Thank you once again Matt and Paul.

Karey’s place was exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I wanted a couple days of downtime and this place was perfect. I absolutely loved sitting out on the deck and listening to the river flow by. The room itself was immaculate, roomy and very comfortable. We would definitely love to come back here again.

Cindy and Rob have a beautiful spot on the river! If you’re looking for a nice, unique, quiet, secluded getaway this is the perfect place. The dwelling was right on the river whether you want to fish or just enjoy the breathtaking view and sounds of nature. They had pretty much everything you would need along with a bbq and fire pit. Heads up, it is pretty isolated but there is a corner store about 2-3 minutes down the road and they had a nice selection of grocery items but I definitely recommend doing your grocery shopping beforehand since the closest grocery store was about 20 minutes away. I definitely will be returning in the future, thank you Cindy and Rob!😊

Jaime was a very attentive and friendly host. The house was in a great location with a small, friendly Taproom right across the street and a coffee stand right around the corner. Also, a gas station right by in the parking lot. The beds were very comfy, and the kitchen had pretty much anything you would need.

We really enjoyed our visit. The location was beautiful with a great view. Quiet location and we felt like we were in the forest but still close to civilization. Easy parking

We stayed at Christine & Martin’s place for a 3rd time-this year a 2nd time on returning from the coast. Their place felt like home & they were engaging & super friendly. They were great hosts & very accommodating. Their studio apartment was clean, comfortable, & very spacious. It was easy to cook there as they had everything you would need. We would definitely return when we’re back in the area!

Unit was extremely close to all the downtown offerings, so it was easy to park and explore on foot. The view from the deck was beautiful, and if it had been warmer I imagine I would have spent quite a lot of time on it enjoying the scenery. The furnishings were adequate for my needs, and allowed for a nice comfortable stay. The other inhabitants were quiet and respectful, which I appreciated greatly since I came for work and had to be up extremely early. The host is lovely and extremely responsive to any inquiries I had. Thanks for a great stay!

This location is the perfect spot for walkability to all downtown Hood River offers! Cute and smartly decorated with all your needs available. Loved the back covered patio too. Perfect spot for morning coffee! It was great having the two bathrooms so two people can get ready at once. Generous sized bedroom and two tvs also! Fast internet if you need to get some work done. The dining table was great size because you could easily seat 4 people or pull it out to seat six OR dine on the covered patio! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo, it was close to everything in downtown HR. It has a comfortable and large bedroom and a well apportioned living room. The condo had many towels and pillows, was stocked with coffee and ice. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Lyudmila and Jim are terrific hosts! We had a great stay at their condo in Hood River. The location is great - right on the main street of Hood River (Oak St.) located near all sorts of restaurants and shops - there's even a nice coffee shop right downstairs. The big windows allow you to look out over Oak St. and see the pretty shops below. The condo itself is spacious, well appointed, and very clean! The hosts are very communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful time at this property and will be back!

We had an amazing stay! The place immediately felt like home—cozy, welcoming, and exactly what we needed. The hot tub was a perfect touch, especially after a long day, and everything about the property was well-maintained and inviting. What truly stood out was the host’s responsiveness. We had another Airbnb cancel last minute due to weather, and this host went above and beyond to accommodate us on short notice. Their quick communication and willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful situation into a memorable getaway. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. We’ll definitely be back!
