The location was excellent, the home was wonderful, and the amenities were great! It could have used some extra glasses. For more people than seven, it could have used another parking space. The backyard view was very nice! If you have pets, the backyard and the main floors were perfect. The Nintendo in the upstairs bedroom was awesome! The game room was a lot of fun and having the bikes on hand was an added bonus for the short ride to the beach. We aren’t often able to splurge on such a wonderful place, but the value was in the thoughtfulness of the amenities for an opportunity to create wonderful family memories. The smores kit, the private back yard with hot tub, and fire pit, coffee on hand, the game room, the bikes and tasteful decor made this very nice! Thank you Tram!

This was my 3rd time staying here and it's always been great. The house is quiet and cozy, and it's just a short walk to the beach. I especially like the nice tub and radiant floors in the kitchen and bathroom.

We had such an amazing time staying here for a quick weekend getaway on the beach. Location is perfect and the home was so cozy and clean, everything was kept up exactly like the photos. Would stay here again 10/10.

Bryan was a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. The house was everything we imagined and more. Clean and with plenty of amenities. And the beds were heavenly. Our kids loved the variety of activities at the house, especially the hot tub and large yard for playing football. We hit some of the recommended sites and places Bryan provided us and they did not disappoint. Wanda’s was a favorite and we explored Cannon Beach for the first time. Cute costal town. Would love to come back and enjoy a longer stay.

Beautiful renovation to a historic Seaside home. Loved the big kitchen with an island and very comfortable dining and living room. Beautiful porch and sunroom for warmer months. All bedrooms well appointed and lovely heated upstairs bathroom. Very helpful and responsive hosts. We would love to return!

We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals through the years and this home has made our short list of favorites and is now our first choice in Manzanita. The home has an endearing and welcoming charm about it, tasteful yet whimsical vibe, and is incredibly well-equipped. The hosts were the icing on top. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to being return guests.

From the moment we found this place in our search, we knew it would be great for our family. After arriving, we were very impressed and more happy about our choice. The place was super easy to find, the house was very clean and welcoming with so many extras that superceded our expectations. Christina was super friendly and helpful on every detail. During my family's walk through of the house, we both said out loud to each other that we can't wait to return in the very near future. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything, bikes to enjoy, crab pots to go crabbing, a dog crate for our dogs, dog toys, gear for clamming, outdoor lighted patio with a fire pit, cable and apps on both TV's, family board games and so many more gems we continued to find during our stay. I highly recommend this place to come enjoy what was a fantastic getaway for our family.

This was our 3rd visit to Capehaven. We love the house, the ocean view, and accessibility to the beach. We come here with our grown children, and have such a wonderful time. We will be back!

Awesome Vacation Rental in Seaside Mermaid Escape

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. This property is perfectly located right on the beach, just a short walk from the main street where you’ll find all the best spots to eat and hang out. Despite its proximity to the lively area, the property feels private and quiet, offering a peaceful escape just minutes from the vibrant atmosphere. We experienced a brief issue during check-in because the lock code provided wasn’t updated, but the host was very responsive and resolved the issue within 10 minutes of our arrival. They even followed up with a call to ensure everything was fine, which we appreciated. The house and amenities match the description and pictures on the listing. One standout feature is the projector system and surround sound in the living space, which added to the cozy ambiance. However, the technology feels a bit outdated and was sluggish when connecting. Some apps like Netflix crashed. It might need an update for a seamless smart experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for a cozy escape

Exactly as described. The. The weather was quite windy and rainy so we really appreciated the house was bright and cheerful, warm and cozy. We have stayed in two other houses within a couple of blocks and this was by far the one we prefer. We do love the Sunset Beach location.

The house was relaxing, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The beach was a short walk direct from the backyard and even when the weather was a little off putting, the view of the sea from the couch more than sufficed.

We had a great trip! Our family wanted a nice getaway by the ocean for Christmas and this place was just what we were looking for. It’s a rustic looking home, with lots of fun, well curated travel and sea-themed decor and all the accommodations you would need. Our host, Susan went above and beyond to take extra pictures so we knew how accessible the place would be for my mother who uses a wheelchair. So thoughtful. Dog friendly too! The Washington coast is extremely wet this time of year, so the beach access was flooded out, but it was just a short drive to the beach access and there are plenty of points to find the ocean. There’s even cranberry bogs nearby. I had never seen one in person before. Again, we are in the offseason, so no actual cranberries, but still fun to see! Westport is such a cute sleepy seaside town. It has a great strip for tourists with shops and restaurants and plenty of seafood opportunities. We did some crabbing on the docks too.
