Beautiful and isolated cabin! Perfect place to disconnected and recharge. We took advantage of the walking trails straight out of the cabin. Daniel was also extremely responsive. Overall great stay!

John's place was perfect for the 9 of us, and more (15) when we got the family together for a meal and evening sharing stories at John's wonderfully equipped and beautifully finished place. Location is central enough to never be more than 10 minutes from key locations, and had ample parking. Great host, really friendly, would thoroughly recommend and consider when we return to Sudbury.

We had an amazing time at Lake Nest! It’s the perfect retreat, and we were thrilled to find a pet-friendly spot for our dog. Our mornings were spent indulging in the wood-fired sauna, cooling off in the lake, and unwinding by the fire—it was the ultimate relaxation. Matt was an excellent host, always quick to respond and ensuring everything was just right. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped. We can’t wait to return for another peaceful getaway and highly recommend it for a serene lakeside escape!

Great spot on the river to spend time with friends and family. Easy water access and lots of scenery. The cottage itself was spacious and clean and had all the amenities you’d have at home. The fishing on the river and the joining lakes was very good. I’d definitely come back for another stay at this place.

Although we weren’t able to stay at the original listing due to unforeseen circumstances, our host went above and beyond to ensure our trip was still a success. She quickly arranged alternative accommodations through her network—at no extra cost to us—and made sure we were well taken care of. Her friends, who hosted us instead, were wonderful and incredibly welcoming and had great communication. would definitely stay there again. We truly appreciated the effort, communication, and care she put into making things right. She even extended a discount for a future stay, which was so thoughtful. Not all heroes wear capes! We’re very much looking forward to booking with her again soon.

Beautiful and picturesque location. The cottages were clean and well stocked. We were a large group and all of us had a lot of fun doing activities. We did kayaking, canoeing, fishing and outdoor games. We used the fire pit every night during our stay. Matt and Beth is very responsive and accommodating. We had a fantastic time and will be back next year.

Very comfortable cottage, much bigger than expected. The property is amazing - it is on a big rock up above the bay with amazing views. Water was nice for swimming, lots of loons calling at night which I love. Kitchen, washroom, bedrooms and sitting room are are excellent. Nice and clean!
