Wonderful and serene location. It's a great spot for a couple or family of 3. Easy access to Portree and the Isle of Skye. Host was attentive, helpful, and provided a light breakfast and snacks in the pod to help start your day off! As a side sleeper, the mattress was very comfortable and provided a great night's rest. It was exactly what we needed to explore the Isle of Skye!

Perfect place for two nights of peace. Loved the view, pod and fireplace and everything just as described. Great walking up the glen and village close enough to ride to the pub!

An excellent place with amazing views to stay if you're in Skye or want a base to explore! Cabin was warm, clean and comfortable and the instructions to find it were excellent. Donald and Eileen were great hosts, especially with the short notice booking! I would 100% recommend their place and will look to stay here again in the future!

Super réservation lors de notre séjour, la vue sur le lac est incroyable pour un beau coucher de soleil! Accueil au top, pas beaucoup de restaurant à proximité, le site propose une cuisine commune, si un jour j’ai l’occasion de revenir je prévoirais de quoi cuisiner sur place. En tout cas très belle escapade, nous avons très bien dormi et la petite cabane était très propre ! Je recommande sans hésitation ce lieu si paisible!

Die Suppe und das Brot, die uns erwartet haben, waren wirklich super. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Freundliche Kommunikation via Airbnb, aber gar kein Kontakt vor Ort, obwohl Lisa direkt nebenan wohnt. Man hätte bei Problemen wohl vorbeigehen können, aber es wirkte etwas anonym. Die Einrichtung ist etwas anders als auf den Bildern, aber es war alles da, was man braucht. Gut 15 Minuten Fahrtzeit nach Portree. Ich würde die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

I’ve finally had the opportunity to live out my dream and stay in a tiny home and it did not disappoint! Norman and Jillian’s place was beautiful, with just the right amount of space we needed. The entrance was clearly marked from the side of the road which made it easy to find. Checkin was seamless with a lockbox key system. The shower water was hot right away, the bed and linen comfortable, and the outdoor seating area/fire-pit was a fun way to spend our night relaxing after all day hiking. Norman came by to chat with us for a little and he was so kind and personable. He gave us local recommendations and tips that were very helpful with our travels. We even had a family of hedgehogs join us for our bonfire! We wish we stayed more than one night here because it was such a nice space.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Telford Pod. The location is perfect—close to key attractions like the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Ben Nevis, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, yet it remains peaceful and serene. The house itself was cozy and welcoming, with lots of little personalized touches that clearly showed the owner’s care. From a welcome note to keeping necessities in stock to make food, everything felt special and well thought out. The setting couldn’t have been more beautiful, with the stunning loch as a backdrop and the sound of the occasional train passing by, adding a picturesque element to the tranquil surroundings. It’s the ideal balance of being close to important sites while offering a calm, restful retreat. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Had a wonderful time here, not a single negative point at all. Brilliant place to stay, far better than some more expensive holiday lodge type places we’ve tried before. Highly recommend. Was perfect for our dog too

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the loch cabin. It was easy to find, Alison’s instructions were very clear. The cabin is beautiful and very cosy, the surroundings are stunning. It was in the perfect location for what we had planned, would recommend to anyone :)

lovely decor, big fan of the highland coos. Hosts went the extra mile and left us some milk in the fridge (and some chocolate too!) that was very kind. cost place to stay that heated up quickly.

Awesome place to explore and go hiking. Also the little café crafts & things is really nice for breakfast.

It's a perfect spot to explore the area, we took our bikes and cycled to Sanna Beach. The fact that there is charcoal to have a BBQ and fire wood for the fireplace makes such a difference. Love all the little extras like soap, tea and coffee. The shower was amazing with good water pressure and lovely hot water.

A blissful retreat you have to experience to fully appreciate it! Beth has the most beautiful setting - the walkway to the little house is magical in and of itself. You can hear the rushing water outside - it is truly dreamy as you enter, super cozy and quaint! I loved waking up and falling asleep with the unique windows displaying the skies and woods! Beth was extremely thoughtful and communicative! I even got a hug before I left in the morning which touched my heart! Thank you, Beth, your kindness is unmatched! For those curious, this small house is a very short distance to the Harry Potter Viaduct which was breathtaking!

Words cannot accurately articulate just how EXTRAordinary Sandra's Airbnb is. Photos do not do adequate justice. This Gem in the Isle of Sky is absolutely the very best experience we have ever had with Airbnb and we Airbnb A LOT! From the start of our journey, Sandra's advice and council on getting to the Airbnb, along with her insights on our desired journey were not only incredibly helpful but selflessly thorough and compassionate in nature. Her clear and informative direction on getting to her Airbnb, along with parking safely and enjoying all aspects of the Airbnb were out of this world and her hospitality is unparalleled. Not to mention, all of the extra sweet touches in the home are like nothing we've ever experienced... hot coco AND marshmallows! Coffee, honey, grains, a variety of spices and everything and more than you would need to enjoy a home cooked meal and settle into a beautiful night. Unbelievable! The local whiskey was a huge favorite of mine along with my wife! A+++++

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und hatte eine ruhige schöne Lage. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Unterkünften hatte man einen Meerblick und eine schöne Übersicht. Allgemein war alles sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und schön eingerichtet. Wir können das Pod nur weiterempfehlen. Victoria war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin die mit Tipps zur Seite stand, wenn benötigt, aber einem auch Raum und Ruhe gelassen hat.

The lodge was perfect, exactly as in the images and nice and cosy. The location was also ideal for a quiet get away with great access to the mountains and the Isle of Skye is a couple hours drive away. Overall Diorbhail’s place was very clean and her communication was quick and clear.

Our stay in the cabin was awesome! We spent two nights here and felt right at home. Very close drive to the quiraing and to man of storr. One of our mornings was very windy and rainy, and the cabin was the perfect cozy spot to sip coffee and read in. We saw sheep and cows right outside the windows in the mornings, so fun! The welcome gifts Lizzie left were so sweet. We’d love to stay here again!

Très belle roulotte aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et de charme. Évidemment pas très grand mais tout était très fonctionnel et pratique. Nous avons même régulièrement cuisiné et mangé à l'intérieur. Bien équipé, notamment avec une couverture chauffante vraiment bienvenue en cette période plutôt fraiche.

We highly recommend Maria's place. Its very cute and tiny, clean and comfortable. I had the best sleep ive had this whole trip which was lovely! (even with a storm raging outside!) Maria communicated very promptly and was so helpful with any questions. The house is handy to town but very quiet and private.

Dean was a fantastic host. Even though we cut our trip short, it was still very enjoyable and highly recommended for those looking for an escape from the city.
