We absolutely loved our Valentines Getaway at Philip's Cottage! Philip was great in sending us check in information and regularly sending recommendations for things to see and do in the area. We were also lucky to arrive to this beautiful cottage with a bottle of Prosecco and Cheese waiting for us! Thank you again Philip! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, warm and so cosy! The sunroom has the most stunning of views and comfy sofas where you can relax and gaze at the surroundings! Thank you again Philip for sharing your cottage with us, all in all a perfectly relaxing stay!

Alison was an absolute gem and her home was so peaceful and cozy! The place was equipped with everything you would need for a stay and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be back myself!

We really enjoyed our stay with my mom. We both felt right at home, it was so comfortable. You basically don't need to bring anything, everything is there and more. The place was just clean, spotless. Mom and I loved how the hosts paid attention to details for everything. We are three generations of Harry Potter fans who wanted to stay somewhere near Lough Key. Conor's house is magical! We absolutely loved the theme. The house is very comfortable and warm. We explored Lough Key, Strokestown and Sligo. When we met Conor he was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend a stay in Draoicht.

We spent our first Christmas away from home and Derek's house was the perfect place to spend it. Derek provided us with all the info we needed to be prepared for our Xmas dinner and provided plenty of recommendations for activities and places to see. Derek was a very responsive host even over the Christmas holidays. Would recommend staying here. lovely walks and beaches near by and other great activities not too far away

Was this property five star in the traditional sense of the word? No. Is it five star if you are looking for somewhere to completely detach from the world and connect with friends / family around a cosy fire talking, playing games, eating good food, or exploring the stunning beaches nearby? Is it five star if you want to indulge in a wood fired sauna and then a freezing cold outdoor shower to cleanse your soul and senses? Absolutely. My husband and I wanted to completely escape after a busy Christmas, put down our phones and reconnect, and walk on the vast and empty Donegal beaches with our dog and Franck’s chalet fit the bill perfectly. Franck himself was very responsive and helpful despite being away on a break. I recommend a bracing walk the length of Tullan Strand, stocking up on yummy ingredients, getting great coffee from Foam in Bundoran, closing the door, lighting the fire, and settling in to relax.

We absolutely loved our stay at Caitríona’s peaceful and tranquil retreat! She was so lovely and welcoming, and has created a wonderful and cosy place. The hot tub and sauna were magical - sitting in the hot tub under the stars was an unforgettable experience. There are great little walks nearby and 3 friendly dogs on-site plus lots of other cute farm animals. Caitríona was especially kind when one of us got sick, and allowed us some flexibility with check-out time which was hugely appreciated. Our stay was a real highlight of our entire trip in Ireland.

We chose the cozy cottage for a family get together for my mother’s 60th birthday to play board games and do some karaoke. The cottage comfortably fit all 14 of us and was perfect for what we wanted it for! The cottage is exactly as described - cozy! and felt like a home away from home, the decor and the finish on it was to the highest standard right down to the designer toilet!!The host Patrica gave us the warmest welcome upon our arrival, so much so we would have love if she could have stayed with us! The location was perfect for us and the cottage was enough off the beaten path that our wonderful karaoke renditions were not heard but it was so easy to get to and close to nearby shops and take away which was perfect for what we needed! Patricia also organised freshly baked brown bread and scones along with homemade jam for our breakfast (the basket we received was still warm!). This was such a wonderful touch and the icing on the cake for the wholesome weekend at the cozy cottage!

I booked the place wanting to stay in the Ox Mountain area as my grandmother loved to glance at the Ox Mountain in north direction as she lived south of Moy River. It was first trip for my best friend, so it was spectacular place to be especially time of the year with all of these fresh snow and experience what it was like to live with turf fireplace. I am humbled by all of this experiences and beautiful surroundings. Dermot and Monica were thoughtful and friendly hosts. Their recommendations on places to visit and where to eat were spot on! You cannot beat the spa fees - affordable price! It is good for anyone who wants to be off the grid from phones/technology and be in tuned with the nature, animals and people.
