Very peaceful and beautiful place, my family and I enjoyed it so much, my 70 old father and the adult grandkids said that is the new family vacation spot for summers when we go to visit our daughter. Very rustic, but well taken care of property. My dad loved the coffee they provided.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Kristen’s place. We enjoyed dinner nearby on Lake Palestine, caught a few fish in the pond, enjoyed the hot tub, and slept well. It was definitely an outdoorsy, off the grid stay for us and that is what we wanted. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee, sodas, and snacks. Thank you Kristen for hosting.

Kevin and Debra were always responsive and very quick to respond. Place was great and perfect for our stay just a couple miles from The Villages where we had our Bass Tournament. Worked great for us with room for our truck and bass boat. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway. We enjoyed our stay in the family cabin. The beds were very comfortable and there’s a nice back deck to sit on that’s enjoyable for morning coffee or a nice evening.

We have stayed at this house 4 times now. We LOVE it! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The view is amazing. We absolutely love getting to use their boats in the private lake. This house is so special to us and we always have such a great time and make wonderful memories. Dennis is a great host and is always there to answer questions. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

This was a great place to stay! The home and property were beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The weekly cleaning service was amazing for our group. Kathy and Jeff were very helpful and communicative as well. I would recommend being hosted by them to anyone and would definitely stay there again!

I had such an amazing stay at Judy's Country Cottage! Michelle was a wonderful host very friendly and helpful, she put alot of thought into the decor and every amenity you can think of. The reclining sofa and bed were super comfy. When I walked in from a long drive. Homemade cookies and muffins were there and tasted amazing! Also met her super gentle and adorable pooch, he's a gentle giant. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Came here the day of our wedding for a honeymoon weekend, we could not have picked a better spot to stay. Everything was so beautifully decorated and homey. This is a gorgeous old house that has been restored to perfection. Cindy even had bagels , cookies , and amenities in the fridge for us as well as a hand written chalk board sign of congratulations! This home was everything I could have hoped for and I will be returning on our anniversaries. Beautiful peaceful relaxing stay. You can tell they care about this property and your experience as a guest. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE wanting to stay in Lindale. Straight shot into downtown Lindale as well. Perfect, perfect, perfect experience!

This was a comfy place to stay with our teen boys. It has a full kitchen with more appliances and pans than we could imagine using in a short stay! The carriage-house is tastefully decorated and suitable for men and boys as well as women (as in not completely covered in cat prints and floral patterns - lol). The hosts, Mike and Barbara, are wonderfully thoughtful and gracious. They took the time to give us a tour of the Manor House. We enjoyed chatting with them.

Nice, calm, clean place with everything you need to relax and enjoy the view. Thankful for this place.

if in the area I would highly recommend staying in this cabin in the woods if you're looking for peace and quiet off the beaten path. we got in late and had no issues getting in we had to get up early in the morning so we weren't able to enjoy the surrounding scenery but the place is in the country quiet peaceful and had beautiful surroundings just didn't have time the next morning to take it all in.
