Great place with a beautiful river view out back. Kitchen is stocked with every kind of utensil or pot you would need, including a blender. The kids loved the giant bean bag and lofted walkway.

The home is in a beautiful college area. The home itself is beautiful, very clean and orderly. We are a family of 8 and the home had more than enough space for lounging and sleeping.

We recently stayed at the Rambo house before taking off on a section hike, and it was a fantastic experience. The house itself is great, offering comfortable accommodations and a nice facility that made our stay enjoyable. Its location is perfect, with easy access to Damascus , allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

Bonita was GREAT! Sent directions days before our arrival, was extremely responsive with any questions we had and gave good recommendations. Her place made everyone feel at home, like we took a step back in time. She left brownies on the table which was the cherry on top! We will be back for sure.

So peaceful and quiet! Far enough off the beaten path and close enough to whatever you are interested in. Loved hearing the cows! We spent every evening eating dinner and relaxing outside with such incredible views. Each day only a handful of cars total would come by the road. We easily visited Hungry Mother State Park, Grayson Highlands State Park, and Damascus. Would stay here again.

El sitio estuvo excelente para ir a descansar y desconectarse de la ciudad, relajarte en familia, la casa fue muy cómoda. Si tienes niños pequeños, disfrutaran mucho en el terreno que es bastante grande, puedes hacer parrilla y tienes varias atracciones cerca y adicional estas a 48 minutos de Boone. Melina tuvo una excelente asistencia en tiempo récord, una cuando no podíamos abrir la puerta, la llamamos y nos atendió al momento para abrir desde su locación y la otra fue con un breaker que se tripeo en panel, la respuesta fue inmediata. Realmente volveré a rentar el próximo año, Gracias Melina.

This home was perfect for our vacation. We had two families of four and had plenty of room and never felt crowded. The pool table, arcade machine and neighbor’s pups kept us all entertained. All spaces were clean and comfortable. We will definitely keep this home in mind for future visits to Damascus.

Everything about this place was excellent - the decor, the location, the amenities. We particularly loved stopping here at the halfway point of the VCT. We could eat and refresh in our own place by-passing lines of people at the public venues. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location if visiting Abingdon or Damascus! 10-30 minutes from most attractions and only 1 hour from some state parks. Home was quiet and peaceful in the countryside. Kelsey and Corey were very responsive and helpful.

Great place walkable to most of the bike shops and the town which has restaurants. Easy in and out procedures as well as parking. Awesome property.

Dale was a wonderful host, very kind and quick to respond! The apartment was conveniently located right in town, clean, quiet and easily accessible!

Our second stay here. Rebecca's place was a perfect match for our adventure in 2022, so when we decided to return to Grayson Highlands State Park there was no question where we wanted to stay! We stay in unit B which was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Pictures are accurate. Kitchen was stocked well; variety of quality pots and pans, plenty glassware, china and silverware. Dishwasher too. Living room has plenty of seating. TV viewing was comfortable from any spot. A notebook below the TV held emergency information, restaurant/store listings, and activities in the area. Bathroom shower is great. Easy to step in and nice water pressure. Washer and dryer is a benefit for long stays. We've slept in both bedrooms now. Twin beds in the front room (morning light) and queen bed in the back room (afternoon light). Bedside tables, lights and good closet space in both rooms. There are stairs to enter the unit. I've got a 2 month new hip and made it up/down multiple times fine.

We will definitely be back! This was a wonderful weekend getaway and loved being able to walk everywhere.
