The house is better in person, it’s cozy, clean, and in a beautiful place. The instructions were very clear, detailed, & useful prior to arrival so we were well prepared with firewood & other supplies. Everything was easy to use (heating, hot tub, fireplace etc) and we felt at home for a few days. The house is in a small area with mostly holiday homes & a couple restaurants with a small hotel so important to bring groceries and all supplies needed as the closest store is a bit of a drive. It’s peaceful, and lovely to walk to the harbor & cliff views. I definitely want to come back and stay again. Can’t say enough about how lovely it was, thank you Margret & family!

Very clean and new house. Very spacious bathroom with washing machine and dryer. They also have a well equipped kitchen. Bedroom is comfortable too. Thumbs up!

Olafur’s cottage is a dream seaside location, very quiet and amazing sightseeing. The cottage is cozy and beautiful, you can definitely tell this is the host’s second home, very well equipped and nicely decorated. It’s a lovely cottage to rest and enjoy nature after some tours in Iceland. Would love to visit again in the summer! Highly recommend this cottage if you are visiting that area!

WE absolutely LOVED this place. It's very well equipped and very cozy. You should know, that there lives a family with little kids above and it might get louder sometimes, but it didn't bother us, as we spent the whole day outside anyways. Other than that, the absolutely perfect place to stay!

LOVE this house! We luckily encountered aurora burst and the house gave us the best view to every direction, sooo nice and lovely especially in a cold windy night that you don't feel like stepping out. We didn't meet the landlord in person but the?communication was very efficiecnt. would recommend this house with stunning view to everyone who comes to the pennisular of Snaefjall!

Steps away from the Arnastapi cliffs, the location of Inga’s place is the stuff of guide books and travel shows. It is a short walk down to two different trails taking you along the breathtaking cliffs overlooking the sea. The town of Arnastapi is a great location to use as home base while exploring the wonders of the peninsula. Staying in the house feels like being in someone’s well loved home. Inga has provided everything one could need to cook even elaborate meals. Her detailed instructions on getting to the house and the guidebook and map provided were all very useful. If we’re ever able to visit Iceland again, we would absolutely want to stay here.

Unglaublich schöne Lage, direkt am Wasser und mit freier Sicht in die Natur. Die Unterkunft bietet fast alles an. Man füllt sich wie zu Hause und bedenkenlos mehr als 3-4 Tage dort bleiben. Besten Dank für alles!

Wir haben das Haus und den Hotpot sehr genossen! Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangsort, um viele Dinge in der Natur zu erleben. Das Haus ist geräumig und gemütlich!

A very cozy house, super well-equipped, the sauna and hot pot were sensational! The location right in front of Kirkjufell Mountain is unbeatable, we even got to see the Northern Lights! The rent for the house is quite high, but worth every cent and highly recommended!
