Unique, comfortable place. We enjoyed the well-equipped gym and eggs from the chickens! Super well-stocked with bath products, kitchen staples and snacks, and good coffee! Eva is friendly, helpful, generous--a wonderful hostess!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location was perfect—just a short drive to Bosque del Apache, making it ideal for anyone looking to explore the wildlife and beauty of the area. The property itself was incredibly peaceful, providing the perfect escape. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway!

Little House on the Bosque

We would definitely stay here again. The home was lovely and comfortable. Many nice, beautiful touches. The kitchen has everything we needed and the kitchen appliances all worked great. The hosts were thoughtful to leave coffee and breakfast treats. The property is peaceful with beautiful cactus and other plants. We enjoyed just sitting at the dining room table watching birds. There is a closed in porch that is quite comfortable and a nice place to sit and chat as well. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The property is nice for those who like to get away from towns, but close enough to town to easily grab a burger at the Owl. Bosque del Apache is only about 15 -20 minutes away.

Off the Beaten Path, Comfy Cabin!

Carol’s rustic cabin met & exceeded our expectations. It was sparkling clean, spacious, comfortable, and very peaceful. We loved the artistic touches and simple elegance of the place. It isn’t fancy but it’s very welcoming. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and stellar stargazing. Carol gets 5 plus stars for her place and for being such a great host. She’s very responsive, helpful, and let us check in early. We especially appreciated the fresh eggs, snacks, and pantry stocked with the basics. We’ll definitely stay here again!!

This is a lovely place. It has great architecture, well appointed kitchen, and lovely outdoor space. The location is remote, forested, and wildlife abounds. However, I disagree with the host's characterization that it is secluded. There are two other houses clearly visible from the Air BnB and we saw people at both of them at one time or another over the weekend. To be honest, the other houses are not much further away then the houses in my ranchette neighborhood. There is also a heavily traveled forest road within sight of the house. There was a significant amount of clearly audible road noise well into the night on Friday. We stayed here as a base camp for leaf peeping in the Manzano Mountains and we would consider doing so again.

This is a wonderful place to stay for seeing cranes and snow geese. This was our second time. Just as great as the first. Highly recommend.

Nice people and very helpful. They met up with me and showed me the way there. I usually camp on blm this is pretty much that but with a host, road was a little rough for my Harley but doable. They have a little gift shop with things they make and drawings of her. I picked up a ring. All in all it was a great stay.

The cabin was perfect. David is a terrific host who responded to my incessant messages instantly. The deer were our favorite extra in the space, coming to the pond all day. The location is peaceful and perfect for a get away.

This stay exceeded expectations. Our room was so cozy and Stephanie was very helpful and friendly. The views around the ranch are beautiful and the town is so cute! I would definitely recommend staying here. If I could put a 10/5 I would!!

Rustic charm describes this casita. We stayed two nights while visiting the Bosque del Apache. Kitchen had plenty of room and equipment and bedroom was comfortable. Polvadera is a good location for birding, about 20 miles north of the Bosque and 20 miles south of Bernadro Waterfowl Area. WiFi was kind of slow but probably no one goes here for the connectivity. It's rural New Mexico and reflects the geography and wild spaces that characterize this area.

Carol’s place was great, was very clean and cozy. Carol was a great communicator during the duration of our stay and took care of anything needed. I would stay again!
