Lovely quaint place created by Ishwar Lal along with his daughters. Simple yet charming. It’s way from the hustle bustle and the gosfs were sweet enough to open an extra room on lower floor as I had a foot injury and couldn’t walk up easily. The 3 rooms at the top floor private yet interconnected and are the best. The home made chhole puri for breakfast was fantastic - would recommend guest yo try it. All in all a good experience

Ideally located on NH5 just 10kms away from Shimla. If you’re looking to avoid the rush of Shimla on your tour to Spiti or towards Kalpa, this could be one of the best choices. A warm home with a welcoming host. Having 4 rooms and good quality food.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Spring, Tattapani. The lake-facing rooms offered stunning views, and the property’s natural hot water pool, rich in sulphur and other beneficial elements, was the highlight. It’s perfect for skin health and total relaxation – my wife, daughter, and I spent an hour in it and felt rejuvenated. The Ayurveda retreat features a doctor and spa; I enjoyed a deep tissue massage and steam bath, while my wife loved her Shirodhara session. My daughter had a blast with water sports like zorbing, paddle boating, and jet skiing. We also visited the nearby sand island, which gave off Goa-like vibes. The vegetarian food was delicious, and mornings started with another dip in the hot spring. The host, Mr. Prem Raina, was incredibly polite, humble person , For longer stays, you can explore their other property in Thandapani. Just 1.5 hours from Shimla, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for overwhelming Hospitality.

This place is so beautiful that I can't express in words. Beautifully designed hotel and its rooms. They have taken care of every possible amenity. The rooms have wonderful view. The staff is so helpful and know how to serve perfect hospitality. You cant have this kind of luxurious place in an offbeat place. There is lot of parking space and If you dont have any vehicle, they can arrange a vehicle to pick you up. it was an awesome stay.

The Backwoods retreat is a beautiful property located in the natural setting. The property was very well maintained and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. They coordinated with us and guided us with the directions and assisted with luggage. Breakfast was complimentary was the food was very delicious. However, the accessibility to the property is difficult as the road is not yet completely built. For those travelling with their personal vehicle, its difficult to drive it back and forth from the property. Other than that, the property and the entire staff are very good.

My stay at hotel kaithli hills was an amazing experience. The host/owner Mr Bhanu is an amazing person. He posses great knowledge of the local whereabouts . Stayed with family for 2 days . Hotel location is very scenic and in quite surroundings away from the city hustle bustle .Rooms provided were sparkling clean and had a wonderful view from the balcony. No second thoughts of booking this great property when i visit again .Special thanks to Mr Bhanu...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing homestay, and I can't recommend it enough! Honestly, I was a little nervous when booking, unsure of what to expect, but it completely exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the serene beauty of the sunrise and unwinding during the colorful sunsets was truly magical. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were not only extremely polite but also incredibly helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed, ensuring a seamless experience throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, each meal prepared with care and bursting with flavor—definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The place was beautiful ! I would love to go there again. It was pretty far from Shimla railway station but we had a fun ride to the place ! On the way there are you have alot of fun things to do such as rafting ,horse riding and much more. Vijay also booked us a taxi cab the next day to mall road. Overall they are very friendly and the view in and around the place is mind-blowing ! Its worth an experience!

Had a great time at Jen’s place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Loved the view from the room. Jeh is a great host, will recommend things to do and ensure you have a great time.

They were very hospitable and the view was amazing. In winter it was very cold at night. The food in the vegetarian cafe was good. Will definitely stay here if I visit Kufri again.
