We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

Wij hebben de verjaardag van mijn man en de feestdagen in de comfortabele villa van Fulvio doorgebracht en er een heerlijke periode genoten. Het huis was heel schoon en ruim en de benoemde voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Er is een restaurant (Graffiti) op loopafstand van het huis, maar voor de overige voorzieningen, zoals een supermarkt en dergelijke, zou ik toch een huurauto adviseren. Een aanrader is Mondello beach, zelfs in de winterperiode is het er goed vertoeven. Palermo stad ligt op zo'n 20 autominuten vanaf de villa en het vliegveld op ongeveer 25 minuten met de auto. Er zijn diverse (historische) bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, dus je hoeft je er niet te vervelen. Fulvio zelf is erg behulpzaam en reageerde heel vlot wanneer we een vraag hadden. Wij zouden deze plek en host absoluut aanraden.

STEFANO's place was so wonderful and the access to the private docks with lifeguards was amazing (and the Mediterranean water was divine). STEFANO was very helpful and kind and I highly recommend his place if you want to have a quiet and private retreat 10 mins from the airport and 20 minutes from Palermo.

Location or home and responsiveness of host does not get any better. In my opinion the home could use some kitchen and other general updates to make the stay more enjoyable. However I would book again for the current price without the updates.

Logement plus que recommandé! Merveilleuse localisation en plein centre. Les chambres sont très spacieuses .Échanges avec Zaynep hyper fluides. Zaynep est vraiment extrêmement réactive et n’hésite pas à donner des conseils très utiles . Les chambres sont très spacieuses. Si on devait vraiment trouver un défaut (mais vraiment pas très grave), la douche n’avait que peu de pression dans l’eau et l’évacuation légèrement bouchée. Merci pour tout Zaynep et nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir chez vous si on revient à Palerme.

Roberto è stato molto gentile, è venuto incontro alle nostre richieste agevolandoci con orari flessibili. L’appartamento è in pieno centro, zona bellissima da girare a piedi e molto comoda per raggiungere i principali centri d’interesse.

Spent three wonderful early March days here. As stated feels like you’re living a local life away from the tourists. Communication was excellent leading up to and through the stay. Parents met us to let us in and we found everything spacious and comfortable. Centrally located so easy to get everywhere, the internet was fast for the remote work and the balcony in the morning was great for sun. Unbeatable price to performance ratio. Thanks again for hosting!

Wunderbare grosse Terrasse mit viel Grün. Großartige Lage. Vielleicht etwas teuer, aber für die angenehme Lage haben wir gern etwas mehr bezahlt. Alles in allem eine gute Basis um Palermo zu erkunden. Die Pizzeria gleich auf der Piazza nebenan (mit erstklassigen offenen Weinen) empfehlen wir auch gern weiter.

Soggiorno piacevolissimo in una zona al top per servizi, pulizia e tranquillità, la Sig.ra Alda gentilissima e super ospitale, disponibile e sempre pronta a qualsiasi richiesta o consiglio, alloggio nuovo, pulitissimo, comodissimo e completo di tutti i confort, la zona è molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Consigliatissimo. Come essere a casa.

Had a lovely stay in Capaci! Michaela and Dario were super helpful hosts. The place is large, two separate bedrooms and a large, comfy couch. Kitchen is very well stocked. Fantastic sunset views from the balcony. The beach is near, so is the train which makes it super convenient. We rented a car to explore other parts of the island, the parking spot came in handy. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

An excellent place to stay in Palermo. Close to attractions, cafes, and restaurants. The apartment is exactly as pictured and provides an excellent location to explore the city. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Probably one of the best Airbnbs I stayed at. The apartment feels very homey, it was perfectly clean and comfortable! The neighborhood is great and feels very local with lots of restaurants and bars nearby and in a walking distance to the city center. Shops & supermarkets also close by. Daniela was very friendly and helpful, showing real interest in us and helping us with local recomendations. It was a pleasure! 10/10

Francesca left clear and precise instructions for check-in, showed concern regarding the building's winter-friendly characteristics (it has no heating), and made this aspect clear at the beginning of the reservation. Francesca also gave us excellent recommendations regarding restaurants, local food, street food, parking, bookstores, and museums to visit in Palermo. The balcony is a highlight of the apartment; having breakfast at the table outside is lovely. My only recommendation would be to invest in an electric heater for the bedroom during the winter months. Francesca left a gas heater at our disposal, but it cannot be used inside the bedroom due to the carbon dioxide generated by burning the gas. Therefore, an electric heater (one that runs on oil inside) would be a good purchase for the apartment.

We had a great stay at Daniele’s place! The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is super central, making it easy to explore the city, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Daniele was a fantastic host—very welcoming and responsive. The balcony was a real highlight, perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or unwinding in the evening. Just a small note for light sleepers: since the apartment is in a lively area, there can be some noise from the bars below, especially on weekends. It didn’t bother us much, but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

My cousin and I had a remarkable stay at Gianni’s property in Palermo. It is such a lovely and spacious home with an amazing terrace. Gianni was super helpful with our arrival/checkin and gave us loads of great recommendations. The neighborhood is very charming and we felt very safe and at home in the area. We will certainly be back and stay at Gianni’s home again! 😊

Luigi's home in Palermo was wonderful. The accommodations had everything you needed for a great stay and a remarkable terrace to spend your evenings. Luigi was an exceptional host - they helped connect us with a driver to and from the airport and were just so helpful and kind! I was so glad I got to meet them if only for a few min!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Valentina is an excellent host, always very quick to respond and very helpful letting us into the apartment well before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice, not as busy as the touristic center but still in the heart of the city. Please be aware that the free parking is not on location but a few blocks away. Not a problem at all once Valentina sent us the location. We can highly recommend the apartment and it’s great host.

L’appartamento, pulito e stiloso, si trova in una posizione strategica, immerso nel famoso quartiere di Ballarò, a 2passi dai maggiori monumenti del centro storico e dal mercato popolare, ma allo stesso tempo è facilmente raggiungibile sia in macchina che con i mezzi pubblici. Facilmente ho trovato anche il parcheggio gratuito sotto casa, grazie alle dritte di Riccardo. Il quartiere, a differenza di quello che ho letto in alcune recensioni, abbastanza sicuro e per nulla pericoloso nonostante sia una ragazza che viaggia da sola. Host gentilissimo: mi ha fornito consigli utili su attività da fare e luoghi da visitare, nell'appartamento ho potuto assaggiare anche un ottimo olio nuovo, Nocellara del Belice, dell'azienda Voglie di Sicilia. Appartamento confortevole: é fornito di tutto,(dalla lavatrice alla culla per bambini); ha 2 meravigliosi terrazzi dai quali si vedono i tetti del centro storico, le montagne circostanti e le guglie della cattedrale. Stupita davvero! Ritornerò!

Wir waren fünf Nächte dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht und die Gastgeber sind äußerst hilfsbereit.

Wij voelden ons meteen thuis in Casetta Magione. Een leuk, knus huisje en zelfs met wasmachine. De locatie is geweldig, midden in centrum en veel leuke restaurantjes en bars in de buurt. Zelfs een mooi concert gezien in Real Teatro, vlakbij ons huisje. Een grote LIDL op loopafstand. Het openbaar vervoer is ook prima als je wat verder weg wilt gaan. Een ritje kost 1,40 en is 90 minuten geldig. Kaartjes kun je kopen bij een Tabaccheria of bij het station. Prachtige kerken gezien. Het eten is heerlijk, van couscous, pulpo, caponata tot heerlijke pizza's. We zijn blij om in Palermo geweest te zijn in deze tijd van het jaar. Het was heerlijk warm 17 tot 20 graden. Alleen maar mooi weer gehad deze afgelopen 2 weken. Bezoek ook Il Capo, de markt of het Teatro Massimo, zeer indrukwekkend. We waarschuwen je wel voor het dragen van een rugzak, wees alert! Tips: de Hortus is erg mooi en vlakbij, bezoek Mondello met zijn mooie strand, ga naar Cefalù, schattig dorpje, en geniet van de Nero d'Avola!
