They picked me up from the airport. Check me into my room. Dropped me at a restaurant. Picked me up from restaurant and dropped me to the airport. the next morning. Also changed some money for me to Local currency. What a great place to stay. Would recommend to anyone, thank you thank you thank you.

The level of hospitality that they brought during my stay was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed every moment of my stay!

this is an absolutely beautiful village. so so many kids who are so so friendly, their smiles are like the sun breaking through the clouds. if you can bring extra snorkel gear to give them, or the local guys who also use it to fish, please do!! everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming on the whole island. there is not a system for tours/tourism -luckily we made friends with some people in town who were able to show us around to some places- make sure you bring extra money if you also want to go this route. no one asked for tips but we wanted to give them something for their time. if your interested in wood carvings almost everyone in town is an artist, creating masterful magical pieces. make sure you have extra space in your suitcase for that. for food- we were on a backpackers budget, couldn’t afford the fully catered option, just 2 days. we were able to bring food with us from honiara, very difficult to carry all the stuff on the ferry. if you can afford it, do catering.

Lasa went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Seeing the manta rays was a wonderful experience as watching the full moon rise over the still waters. The bungalow is powered by solar at night and Lasa will help you charge anything once the generator is on at night. He has no internet but you get good reception using mobile data. The snorkelling at Uepi was the best we saw in the Solomons.
