This house is truly a hidden gem on the island. It’s fully stocked and beautifully furnished, catering to all types of travelers—whether you’re an adventurer looking to explore or someone like me who enjoys relaxing at home. Everything you could possibly need is right here, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway or an unforgettable vacation. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return in the near future!

We were looking for a restful place for us and our friends who helped us work a cycling event. We felt right at home from the old world charm and coziness of the house, furnishings and everything in the home. The ambience said, "kick your shoes off and relax" and that's what we did following two exhausting days. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern without loosing the character of the home. This is a wonderful old house that can hold quite a few people who want to get together for a reunion. We had fun playing games and kayaking. We had a couple issues and host Mark was responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect if you want to get away from civilization and just relax on the porch to read a book or watch nature. There is not much internet coverage and you will want to shop for groceries on your way in through Cambridge.

We really enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of this home. We had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway, with a well-equipped kitchen to cook in and warmth provided by the wood burning fireplace in the living room and a propane one in the kitchen. Lots of windows provided a view of the bay and each morning we awakened to a different look and feel in the water and sky. The sunsets were truly spectacular. It is a bit removed from restaurants and grocery stores but if peace and beautiful surroundings--and what looks to be active water sports activities during the summer--are what you're looking for, this is the perfect place.

While we only stayed at this lovely cottage long enough to sleep each night while in town visiting family, I imagine it would be an idyllic spot for a getaway. The location is absolutely beautiful and the cottage was well stocked with anything you could need. We appreciated the dog bed and crate available for use as well! Would recommend!

We needed a place to chill and unwind and this was it! Not much to do this time of year but we didn't care. We loved every minute of our time on the island. Everyone was so friendly and we felt right at home. Beautiful sunsets and delicious catered meals. Thank you!!!

This was our 2nd stay on the island , but first time at Mary Kim's. Great hospitality including home cooked egg rolls that made the long journey even more worth it. The only downfall would be the dock and kayak spot is a couple doors down, but Mary Kim was very communicative. lastly, I highly recommend the golf cart service on the island, gives you more of an ability to explore the island.

I think this'll become an annual retreat. The cottage is lovely, the location gorgeous and quiet, all the amenities we could want in the kitchen. Chelsea is a wonderful host, communicating about all the details of access and amenities. it's a hidden gem, perfect for a romantic weekend, family holiday or solo retreat. The sunrise and sunsets are unparalleled.

I picked this beautiful home to stay in while I did some nature photography in the area (in February) because I liked the proximity to the public natural areas. Kristina was an excellent host, very responsive to messages, and her home is gorgeous, extremely comfortable, welcoming and nicely stocked with paper goods and linens. I hope to return to explore the area in a different season and would love to stay in her home again! If you’re looking for fine dining and nightlife, this is not the right location for you, but if you want to enjoy peace, quiet, and nature in a very tranquil setting, I highly recommend this home!
