How best to describe an oasis of peace, tranquility, and flavor? Answer: three words --sugar, water, manor. We enjoyed every moment on the property and riverside! Dana's restaurant at the George Washington Inn was also excellent, and the brunch menu is a particular treat. Never have I had better French toast, and I consider myself an expert on all things toasty and fluffy. And the buttered grits with the farm fresh eggs! Yum, yum, and YUM. Just right. So don't let the simple exterior and no-frill interior of the inn fool you, the menu is elaborate and delish. My husband also loved the gravlax that we came to learn Dana makes from scratch. I'm not a fan of pork in general, but the grilled pork chop with the jam glaze changed my mind! Dana, thank you so very much for a terrific stay and birthday weekend for my husband! And from me, an extra thanks for reminding me just how much I miss Rickie Lee Jones. Your music playlist was the icing on top of my stay! xo ~ Dida

Cozy, quiet, cute and super clean, I loved Homestead Cottage. I became incredibly spoiled by a fresh baked treat being left at my door each morning. I loved walking in the cool shade of the giant, ancient magnolias imagining what it would have been like approaching Clifton, through the brick gates, 200 years ago. I spent quite a bit of time at Racoon's Point, a little bit of local bay beach 1/4 mile away. I think the pool setting is so lovely and many days after a swim, in the golden light of the late afternoon I would walk to a spot just on the water where a group of Adirondacks have thoughtfully been placed and bask (with a glass of wine & little snack) in the magic hours of fading light. Very nice reset. I loved talking with the burros, and saying good mornings with the hens and geese. I loved the comfort of my bed and many thoughtful things. I so appreciate all that must happen, all the work that goes into creating such a soothing to the soul, place and I thank you.

Greetings, My family and I decided to go away this year for the Thanksgiving Holiday 2024. We stayed at this Beautiful Condo in Crisfield MD from Wed. Nov. 27th -Saturday Nov. 30, 2024 The price was very affordable which made our decision to stay that much easier. Our check in process was effortless. Our host, Marietta provided the information needed to gain access to the property in a timely manner. Parking pass were readily available for our vehicles and the neighbors we met when entering into the building were very friendly. The decor at this property is fabulous, the entire unit is spacious, squeaky clean, neat and well organized. It was really our home away from home. The views from this 5th Floor unit are breathtaking and even though the weather outside was frosty, which prevented us from lounging on the balcony to take in the scenery. We simply enjoyed the inside warmth from the gas burning fireplace and the view of the marina so soothing and relaxing. Satisfied 🥰

The house was very clean and very fresh smelling. Being in the woods surrounded by trees you can sometimes expect a musty smell, but that was not the case at all. The house was immaculate, and the rooms were very comfortable. The house was very quiet and private and the room was a nice touch. We all enjoyed the pool table. My husband did a lot of fishing at the dock and we also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We will definitely come back and stay at this house. Nadia was a great host. She mentioned that they are just starting out being a airbnb host, but you wouldn’t know it. The house had everything we needed.

We just returned from a peaceful stay on this very beautiful property! This is not a cookie-cutter mansion, which is a good thing. It has style and charm yet remained very functional for our family vacation. We loved crabbing and fishing off the dock and spent lots of time in the beautifully maintained pool. We brought our two dogs to this pet-friendly property, and they had plenty of room to explore. It is relatively secluded and peaceful, but Crisfield is very close with lots of restaurants, groceries, a marina, etc. There is plenty to do nearby and if you need any suggestions, the very friendly and charming hosts are happy to provide you with recommendations. We will definitely be back to this lovely mansion that manages to be both roomy and cosy at the same time. Thank you!!
