The house of Trond was perfect ! Many activities were possible at Jaeger Adventure Camp (Check it on internet). We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host's friendliness, flexibility, and attention to detail made our experience truly exceptional. The surrounding nature, especially the stunning fjord, added a breathtaking backdrop to our trip. Highly recommend!

Am struggling to write a review without sounding over the top or insincere - Finn and Marianne were the perfect hosts in every way. The cabin and surroundings are even more spacious and beautiful than the photos. Finn was the most responsive host, he gave us tips to see the Northern lights and even messaged when they were the most active! They gave advice on a car borrowing site when we had to amend our dates last minute (Getaround) when there were no other hire car options during the busy period in Norway. They legitimately saved our trip (and us alot of money in the process, as this option was also far cheaper than traditional car rental agencies). They and the cabin both exceeded every expectation, would recommend hugely! Was the perfect, peaceful stay.

It feels just like home, as the apartment is well-equipped and located in a peaceful area. Roger and Tone are extremely kind, always available for any questions, and very responsive. The accommodation is ideally situated in a quiet part of the city, close to a walking trail and well-served by buses. I highly recommend both the hosts and the apartment. If we return to Tromsø, it will definitely be to stay in this wonderful place!

Arthur et Emma ont été des hôtes très accueillants, bienveillants et aidants (quand on ne pouvait pas sortir la voiture à cause de la neige 😅) !! Le studio est très bien situé, à 15 min à pied du centre ville, sur les hauteurs ce qui permet une superbe vue sur la ville, la mer, les montagnes. L’endroit est vraiment magique, on a même eu droit aux aurores boréales depuis le jacuzzi 😍

Ein absolut gelungener Aufenthalt in Norwegen. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Kommunikation von Anfang bis Ende. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist ein Traum um abzuschalten. Ruhige Lage mit toller Aussicht. Sauna, Whirlpool oder ein gemütliches Feuer im Kamin helfen dabei. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt im Haus. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, es war wirklich toll. Danke für alles.

Wat een uitzicht! Alles was perfect: de sneeuw afgewisseld met zonnige dagen, de hottub onder een heldere sterrenhemel met zelfs een beetje Noorderlicht, de zachte bedden, de goed uitgeruste keuken, de gastvrijheid van Per en de rust! Dit is echt een stukje hemel op aarde.

Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

Even though we were very unlucky with the weather did we have av very good stay. That because it´s a lovley place in a lovley location, the view from this place are just gorgeous. Tore Gjert hospitallity was also a big factor that we despite the crapy weather had such a good time. He got us feel at home, gave us alot of good tips and suggestion on what to do and where we could get good local food. He was also very helpful to oraganize the fishing trip that his son offers. We did the fishing trip on the only day with no rain and a bit of clear whether and it was great. His son is a great guide and we got fish and the secenery from the ocean is spectacular

我们在这个房子里度过了非常美好难忘的三天。一楼的房间装饰非常温馨，干净整洁，可以收获很良好的睡眠。卫生间也比较宽敞。楼上的客厅有一个落地窗，非常适合看雪景。还有几把躺椅非常适合躺下来喝着咖啡聊天。另外厨房很大餐具齐全，各种电器都有，像家里一样，我们做了好几顿饭，收获了十分美好的体验。最后，房东人很热情，消息回复也很及时，我想我们再来特罗姆瑟还是会选择这家民宿，我也非常推荐大家！☺️

The apartment is very well equipped and cosy. It is in walking distance between downtown and university, but there is also a good bus connection. Penny and Nick are very friendly and supportive. Personally I like the location very much because it is a peaceful environment.

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen mit sehr schönem Blick auf den Fjord. Es eignet sich aufgrund der Einrichtung insbesondere für Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Das Haus ist etwas abgewohnter, als auf den Fotos ersichtlich. Für einen ruhigen Familienurlaub fern ab vom Trubel aber sehr zu empfehlen. Ein eigener Pkw ist aufgrund der Lage sinnvoll.

Our Tromsø Airbnb was a dream! The lovely space felt like a true home away from home, with breathtaking mountain views right outside the window. It was impeccably clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. A super central location, just a quick 10-minute bus ride to the city center, made exploring a breeze. Gunnar, our host, was incredibly responsive and helpful, truly the best Airbnb host I've encountered in my seven years of using the platform. This experience exceeded all expectations, and we can't wait to return to this perfect Tromsø retreat!

Wished we could stay for another night but they are fully booked. But I am glad that I managed to book 1 night's stay. My family of 4 (16 and 11 y/o) had a wonderful time at Delphine and Espen's beautifully restored 100 years old log cabin. Both Delphine and Espen are such wonderful hosts. Delphine responded fast to my queries and Espen was very warm, nice and friendly when we checked in. We also went on a private dog sledding activity with Espen which turned out to be great fun and filled with excitement for the entire family! My husband and I decided to be passengers for the sleds while our boys be the drivers! The scenery along the dog sledding route was amazing! If you book the accomodation, book the dog sledding activity too! You won't regret it!

Rejse nogle dage for at opleve det artiske klima og nordlys. Vi var meget heldige med begge ting. Boligen var nem at finde, dejligt og autentisk indrettet med mange personlige detaljer. Alt var i bedste orden - rent, pænt og virksomt. Vi manglede intet. Omgivelserne er fantastiske - intet mindre. Kommunikationen med værten er nem og hurtig. Alt i alt kan en ferie i Gammelstua klart anbefales til alle. Vi vil i hvert fald meget gerne komme igen en anden gang ☺️

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour sur Senja. La maison est chaleureuse, bien agencée, fonctionnelle et offre une vue magnifique depuis le salon et la terrasse. Ken est très accueillant, réactif et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. L'emplacement est calme, en bordure de route mais avec très peu de passage. La maison reste accessible en voiture même en hiver, et Ken a eu la gentillesse de déneiger l'allée avant notre arrivée. On espère revenir y séjourner bientôt !

Le logement est situé dans un quartier calme et un peu excentré. Il y a un supermarché a quelques mètres à pieds et une vue magnifique à la sortie du quartier sur les montagnes enneigées. Un arrêt de bus se trouve à 200m du logement qui rend les déplacements très simples. Le logement est fonctionnel et bien équipé, et Stian est très réactif et fort sympathique.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Kirstis Appartment verbracht. Es war sehr gemütlich, draußen hat es geschneit und wir konnten viel unternehmen. Abends waren wir auch schnell in Restaurants und den Ølhallen. Der Kiwi- Markt direkt in der Nähe hat alles was man braucht. Wir können das Appartment sehr empfehlen! Für alle für die es wichtig ist: in Tromsø findet man viele glutenfreie Amgebote

I'd recommend this lovely apartment without hesitation. It's small but very efficiently laid out (if you're like me you'll find this pleasing!) and I found it the perfect size for me as a solo traveller - I'd also happily stay there with my partner as we're happy being in close quarters. The bed is very comfy, the kitchen has everything you could need and the shower pressure is great. The location is a short walk from town and it's up the hill so has nice views! Incidentally my best view of the northern lights was from the porch, though I guess that was luck... Sture gave me all the instructions I could need upfront and it was very easy to find and get in. He was also very responsive. There was one evening where the people in the main house were being quite loud late at night, and he rang me back immediately and told me he would sort it out (they stopped soon afterwards). Other than that the flat was mostly very quiet and peaceful. I'd definitely stay here again! Thanks Sture :)

The apartment is fabulous. The pictures online don't convey the actual size of the apartment. Its very spacious and warm, all amenities you need are provided ( including really nice shampoo, shower gel and handsoap which is unusual for a rental). Was able to watch Netflix which is handy for when you get back form sightseeing or if you stay in at night time. The bed is extremely comfy, as are the pillows. Very quiet apartment. The accommodation is up a slope which can be tricky to navigate in cold weather but a lot of nationalities won't find this a challenge as they will be used to very cold weather ( Irish visitors may struggle a little like I did 😊). I will be returning to Tromso in the summer of next year and will absolutely rent this apartment again. Tromso is an amazing city, and having an amazing central base adds to the enjoyment of a short holiday. Have rented many many apartments on my travels over the years and this is in my top 10!

Wir (3 erwachsene Personen) durften 5 Nächte im Airbnb von Knut verbringen. Die Unterkunft war gut erreichbar, sehr sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Auch die Küche hat mit allen Utensilien zum selber kochen eingeladen. Knut war sehr gut erreichbar und hat freundlicherweise auch „unseren“ Parkplatz von Schnee befreit. Auch ein kleiner Smalltalk lag manchmal drin. Die Lage ist ruhig und mit einem Auto ist man in ca. 10min im Zentrum von Tromsö. Wir können das Airbnb von Knut wärmstens für 3 Erwachsene oder eine Familie mit 2 kleineren Kindern empfehlen. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Tromsöbesuch sicher prüfen, ob die Unterkunft von Knut frei ist.

Clean and modern apartment situated just a 10 minutes walk away from Tromsø city centre. Local amenities and services recommended by hosts and check in instructions made very clear.

Perfect stay in Tromso. We felt right at home once arrived at Daniel’s place. And was really kind to let us do an early checkin which is really nice because we had an really early flight, we were able to take a rest before heading for our aurora hunting at night. The house got everything you need. Transportation is also super convenient, bus 26 is 2 minutes away from the house and bring us directly to city center and also the airport. The beds are really comfortable. Contact with the host was also perfect, really clear instructions for checkin and etc. Really recommend for other visitors.

What a heavenly little cabin nestled in the woods! The perfect spot to spend five snowy nights! Yes, the cabin is cozy, the views are beautiful, the location is great. But the hosts - Eva & Inge - are what truly make this location special (and the fire oven, which I was obsessed with)! I would recommend this place without hesitation. And will most definitely be spending time there again myself!
