We enjoyed our brief stay at Kristian’s apartment. It was a bit tricky to find the apartment and it’s up five sets of stairs (we left luggage in the car!) but we appreciated the thorough instructions Kristian gave us when he greeted us upon arrival (we weren’t used to meeting the host - that’s not really done in the US). Amenities were nice and we’d definitely stay again!

hytta ligger midt i skogen og veldig rolig og stille, den var utrolig koselig innvendig som utvendig, vi tok oss ikke tid til og prøve ut stampen siden den tar så lang tid og fylle opp og få den varm, dette er en fantastisk familie hytte

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und die Lage sehr ruhig und perfekt für Ausflüge oder Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Das Haus war genau das, was wir wollten. Die Küche ist ausserordentlich gut ausgerüstet. Es hat einen Pelletsgrill und einen Kugelgrill. Es hat Esstische im Haus und im Freien. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit den Feuerstellen sehr gemütlich. Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt.

Marthe 's place was lovely. We stayed there for one week and we had a great time. Grocery stores and restaurants just one minute walk away. The subway station was also one minute away and the Central S station was about 5 minutes away. The bus stop to Bygdoy (museums) was about 2 minutes away. The neighborhood was very lively in the evenings with many people outside. We felt completely safe. The apartment itself was large and clean with funky art decorations, perfect for a family with enough space for everyone. The wifi was very fast. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and enjoying the rooftop views. Marthe was very kind and communication was fast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place. Thanks Marthe for everything.

We had a great time staying at Cristoffer’s lovely flat. Everything was as shown in the pictures, the location was great with really close public transport links and plenty of shops bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable, easy and clean place to stay in Oslo.

Fra starten blev vi taget rigtig godt i mod. Tomasz stod klar til at tage i mod os da vi kom, så vi var i rigtig trygge hænder. Han gennemgik lige faciliteterne med os, og alt var rigtig fint! Vi har haft et helt perfekt ophold hos Tomasz, og vores tur kunne ikke ha været bedre! Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage!

Это были прекрасные 4 дня в уютном и комфортабельном доме со всеми удобствами. Более доброжелательного и отзывчивого хозяина мы еще не встречали. Дом расположен в пригороде Осло, рядом с автобусной остановкой и магазином. Все фото и описание дома полностью соответствует реальности. Мы чувствовали себя как дома и благодарны за щедрое гостеприимство Anniken. Она очень оперативно отвечала на все наши вопросы. Мы долго будем вспоминать этот отпуск и надеемся вернуться еще раз, но уже летом ;)

We stayed at the place for 3 days. It worked out great for us. The views from the place were awesome. It was big enough for our group to spread out and kids really enjoyed the foosball table. The hike down to the ocean was nice. Ample parking and quiet neighborhood. Kelly was very responsive, helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Only downside is that the place is an hour away from Oslo. The drive back to the place felt very long after a long day of sightseeing.

Marte's place was beautiful--I personally really loved her decorative taste (and learned that I love Elsa Beskow and Alphonse Mucha). Aside from that, it was very clean and she communicated with us in advance about some construction that was going on at the property, which turned out to be fine for us. The neighborhood was quiet with some great restaurants and very easy access by bus from the city center. There was an outer door to the complex that got stuck at one point and Marte was very helpful and proactive in getting help for my husband to get back in. Overall she seemed laid-back, friendly, and cheerful. I highly recommend staying with this fantastic host. Thank you so much.

Paul was very helpful in making my first trip to Olso, Norway a real treat and would highly recommend his place and location couldn't have been better! Thanks!

Anne and Knut were very helpful hosts. They were flexible with the check in times and their home had everything we needed. They were responsive every time we reached out with questions. We enjoyed staying at their place.

Da kona spurte meg hva jeg ønsket i julegave, så sa jeg med en gang; noen dager på denne hytta. Det er tredje gang jeg er her, og hver gang opplever jeg det som den beste hytteopplevelse som finnes for meg. Hvorfor? Fordi her kan jeg leve enkelt, kan lese i ro, sove tidlig uten distraksjoner (det er ikke strøm), og jeg kan stå mye på langrenn. Det er mange skitraseer som går overalt i nærheten. I tillegg, hvis jeg trenger strøm for å lade min mobil, er Løvlia skistue rett i nærheten. For å oppsummere, hvis man liker det enkelt og stå mye på ski, og å ikke måtte kjøre så langt for å finne snø (fra Oslo og omegn), er det ikke noe bedre sted. Det er en veldig koselig hytte. Hytteeieren er også veldig imøtekommende og hjelpsom.

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

Very nice and cozy place with a wonderful terrace, the house was fully equipped and very calm and clean The amenities were excellent - the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, the living area was warm and inviting with a beautiful fireplace, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The host was very helpful and always ready to answer to any question. He was very welcoming It feels like a true home away from home, would definitely reccomend to stay here!!!

Great location right on the tram line and not too far from Central Station lots of restaurants coffee shops and supermarkets available. a Also the number 16 busstop to Bryggen and the museum is 2 minutes away. Alfonso very friendly and helpful kitchen items available to cook. Bed was very comfortable, great lounge, big TV with Netflix and good size bathroom including washing machine. Note it is on 4th floor so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs which wasn't a problem for us. Stairwell is a bit older but apartment is modern and very warm. As it is a loft there is reduced head height in Kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Beautiful apartment with fantastic view overlooking the harbour area. Easy walk to Opera House, and then into town. Great communication from hosts and flexibility with check-in when our flight was cancelled. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Apartment in an awesome and stylish neighborhood right by the water, lots of restaurants and close by Munch, national theatre, the train station and the city. Lotta and Rolf were perfects hosts and we (1 adult and two kids (5 and 8)) enjoyed every minute of our stay. The pool was the kids‘ sensation, of course🥳. We‘d definitely like to come back one day!

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.

Great host, great stay, exceeded expectations. We were really happy with the place, it had plenty of room and beds for our guests. There is room for 2-3 cars at front, could not hear any road noise so it was peaceful, plenty of bedding and everything felt clean and fresh. Kids loved using the trampoline and playing some of the many games that are around. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and everything you need. Iron and ironing board was handy as well as washing machine. Gym was a nice to have with TV whilst you work out. The host was really quick to respond when we had questions and they were very professional. Overall, we loved our stay here!

This home has a perfect location for exploring Oslo. It is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, and has toys for the kids to play with. It has fun decor and style and comfortable beds. Lots of space for our whole family. We didn’t end up using the pool, as it takes some effort to get the cover off and back on. We loved our stay here!

Wir waren zu 6 in Sandras wundervollem Haus. Der CheckIn war problemlos. Das Haus sah aus wie beschrieben und es war alles da, was man benötigt. Der Blick von der Terrasse war unglaublich und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Sandra war immer schnell erreichbar und hat umgehend auf alle Fragen geantwortet. Urlaub pur!
