We had both the side and top Tipi for our stay. My parents were in the one and our little family of 4 in the other. We so so enjoyed the space, the little bench and viewing area over the Addo concession land is spectacular. So so special to be able to wake up, pop your binoculars up and see a multitude of animals. The proximity to Addo is great and the Spar is close for all shopping needs. Can only recommend you treat yourself to this magic experience! We will be back soon.

The place is beautiful and perfect if you are looking for a relaxing environment. The TP areas are comfortable and immersed in nature. Would love to go back for walks in the hills surrounding the camp.

Unique very special place, quiet and spacious which is just what we were looking for. Location just a few minutes drive to Robberg and everything you need. Love the accomodation, spotlessly clean and the outdoor shower is amazing. Fire pit and braai area ideal and a perfect spot to end the day and watch the sunset. Lovely hosts who give you privacy but always available should you have any questions, not that we had any as everything was super easy and seamless. Thank you for everything and will be back!

A heartfelt embrace awaits you at the enchanting estate from Rob, where layers of warmth and love envelop all who enter. From the fertile soil, the breath taking view, to the generous offerings, the energy and care for cherished guests radiate throughout. It is a very unique experience, staying in your own private bush bush. Across the estate there is a beautiful green nature valley, part of Addo NP. We saw lions, a rhino, elephants and a lot more. Also lots of love for the cohosts Bruce & his lovely wife. We would love to come back and definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Rob’s tipi. It was well organized for a camping spot. The bed was clean and comfortable, the view from our bottom tipi was fantastic (we saw a lion, rhino, warthogs and some other deer type animals). It’s very private. There are 3 tipis. The 3 bathrooms are next to each other but the tents are well separated. We enjoyed the dipping pool in the warm afternoons. Bruce, Rob’s assistant, showed us the giraffes on the property, brought us 2 types of fruit we didn’t know and explained a lot about life in Africa. On Rob’s recommendation we went to Schotia for a 9 hour safari: what a treat. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful, different place to stay. The surroundings were stunning. Marion and Deon were so friendly and made me feel totally at home on arrival and over breakfast the next morning - I really appreciated the top tips for the wider area. Thank you!

Beautiful, and unique We used all the amenities - the tickle tub nice and warm, a bubble bath in nature, the reading and napping net, and the teepee itself was great. Also a nice touch - getting to drive a Kawasaki Mule from the carpark to the tent! All wonderful It was a wonderful experience and would definitely come back

Had a wonderful time at the Noy Noy TiPi! A real off the grid getaway but with everything a person could need. Everything was clean and as we imagined, and there is a real emphasis on making the stay peaceful for everyone. The outside bath and shower was fantastic and sitting by the fire at night and looking at the stars are all experiences we will remember for a very long time. We felt right at home and Jackie made the whole process smooth and perfect. She was very helpful and it all made the stay a perfect one. Would also like to stay again in the summer for another wonderful but different experience.

We stayed in the Tipi tent, would really recommend it. Its like glamping with a view and the ambience with the lights at night is amazing. The location is right in the middle of the waterval Boven escarpment with hikes on the the edge of the cliffs, throught forrest and rivers. The area is also surrounded with Mtb trails. Would definitely recommend Ligwaan for a getaway in Nature and amazing surroundings. P. S the host are really amazing people and if you are lucky you will also get a home baked sour dough bread 😊

Had the best time. This was our second time here and this time we bought our dog & it comes with even more recommendation. All amenities were super clean & a private loo with shower just for you. Our hosts, Alex & Pierre were super welcoming and they took the time to take us on an outdoor experience which was extremely enjoyable and interesting. Definitely give this unique stay a try if you enjoy nature and glamping. We shall be back! :)

Awesome and unique stay. A great option if you have a dog. The drive in through the forest is beautiful and John is very warm and welcoming. I dropped in one night on my way up to PE to visit family and then stayed three nights on my way back. Great value for money.

Das Buschcamp hat genau das gehalten was es auch versprochen hat. Ein Wildnis - feeling und dennoch alles was man benötigt um sich gänzlich wohl zu fühlen.

We absolutely love the magical teepee experience - so much so that we have been back again! Hogsback is such a special place to visit and the teepees add that extra little spark to your trip ✨
