We had a beautiful time at this cottage in the winter. Perfect for a group of girlfriends. We loved the fireplace and candles and the view from the hot tub was so serene. We were pleasantly surprised by the prompt snow clearing that made access much easier. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen had everything we needed and the local coffee was such a nice touch. Thank you so much for hosting, Holly and Thomas (and Kiwi)!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

I just returned from The Ginger, and I highly recommend it! Marsha has created a beautiful, cozy, and welcoming space. The place was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing staycation—extra towels, toiletries, games, cookware, and plenty of firewood for the fire pit, which even has a grill for cooking. The kitchen was fully equipped, and every appliance worked perfectly. Marsha was quick to respond whenever we needed anything. The living area was cozy, with a big couch, TV, and an indoor fireplace. There were also extra heaters apart from the central heating, ensuring warmth and comfort. The only minor issue was that the fire pit area got quite dark at night, and the battery-operated lamps didn’t work, so we had to use phone flashlights. However, this was a minor inconvenience and didn’t take away from the amazing experience. Marsha has put great effort into making this place feel like home. I truly loved every moment spent here!

The sauna and hot tub were a great combo, and thank you Sarah for being an amazing host - incredibly responsive and helped with anything we needed including a refill on tea. Also the bed linens were high quality, and the tea/coffee were high quality. I appreciate the little things that mean so much during a stay. Thank you!

This place was truly stunning. Beautiful, peaceful getaway in the woods with amazing decor and amenities. Cassidy was a super responsive host and it was easy to find and access. We will definately be back!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

I had a great time staying here and have already looked at when I can come back. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The view was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable as well. The door was a little difficult to get into the first time but he gave instructions on how to get in another way. Loved the little touches like leaving a treat for my dog and also having extra dog toys.

My partner and I absolutely loved our romantic weekend getaway at the cabin! We got to experience our anniversary cozy by the fire (both inside and outside), enjoying the hot tub, listening to our favourite albums on the record player, and feeling the serenity of the forest location and quiet neighbourhood. The kitchen was stunning and Kyle + Sam provided us with everything we could have needed for our stay. Kyle was friendly and proactive in his communication making our stay smooth and the check-in/out easy. This cabin is perfect and would highly recommend it to others. We will definitely be returning in the future!

I had a wonderful stay! The space was comfortable and exactly what I needed for a relaxing time. The hosts, Mike and Rosa, were incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. I really appreciated their hospitality and the care they put into making the stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Andrews cabin is awesome. Theres a real outdoors feel to his spot. Its very private and quiet. The surounding area is full of places to walk. We love it here and if you like a spot to enjoy nature in the forest you'll love it too.

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

Cozy cabin, beautiful property to snowshoe, and the sauna was great. The main house is a little too close to the cabin, but the hosts were very respectful, and privacy was ok, it all worked out great.

We loved our stay at Hailee’s cabin! The location was remote, peaceful, clean, and well decorated, exactly as described. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive at all times. The river is too low for swimming, probably due to lack of rain this season. We were there to enjoy the crisp fall weather and fire place, so it wasn’t an issue for us, just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a place to swim every day in the summer. Overall, a great place to stay and a wonderful change of pace being off the grid!

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

We had the most amazing time at the Conifer cabin. The interior is tastefully done and the place is immaculate! Very cozy, relaxing, quiet -just PERFECT! I can go on and on. The sauna and the fireplace are a great addition and treat after a hike. As an outdoor lover, we truly enjoyed the surroundings -the nature. The kids enjoyed and couldn't wait to come back. Nrupas cottage was more than what we expected! The location was perfect, the cottage is more like a house, the layout was perfect for gathering friends and family. The deck is huge and plenty of seating. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating. The bunkie is great for more privacy. There’s canoes, kayaks and a paddle boat…the lake is gorgeous. The neighbours are friendly. Comfy beds, We will be back!

We had a lovely time visiting in March and look forward to coming again in warmer weather. A beautiful, private location within easy driving distance of Algonquin Park.

We had the most amazing time during our stay in mid February. The 70 cm of snow and freezing temperatures outside made the tiny little cabin even more cozy and private. Cynthia and Steve were the most friendly, responsible and most thoughtful host we’ve experienced. They went above and beyond through reliable communication and had great recommendations about the local area. They also really thought of everything to make their cabin a home away from home. From the cute local pottery to the fancy high tech toilet, this off the grid experience was much more comfortable than anticipated. If you are looking for a private camping experience, this place fits the bill. Thank you again Cynthia and Steve again for creating such a beautiful place for us to get engaged. Your little cabin has become very sentimental to us, and we look forward to visiting again!

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!

This was a beautiful oasis in the woods. The sauna and fireplace were a wonderful way to relax and recharge in nature and wellness.
