We stayed at this incredible accommodation with 8 family members in January 2025, and it was absolutely perfect for us! The space was generous, with plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The ultra-modern accommodation was impressive, and the air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay - with a beautiful sea-breeze when opening the balcony doors. The location is unbeatable – right on the beachfront! Across the road, there’s a fantastic walking and cycling track that takes you straight to the center of town. One of the highlights was the thoughtful book provided, filled with QR codes linking to nearby restaurants, wineries, and activities – such a helpful and innovative touch! If you’re visiting, we also highly recommend the 90-minute Big Duck boat tour – it was an unforgettable experience. 55-minutes to 1-hour drive from Adelaide Airport, this place was super convenient. It’s a true gem, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Great location and well maintained property. Really enjoyed the space and the large back yard for the kids. Kitchen was well equiped and the property had everything you could ask for. Only negative is the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms, just the one split system air con in the lounge area which isn’t enough to cool the bedrooms on a 30+ degree day. Overall a great experience and would stay again.

Great central location on the island. Saw koalas, kangaroo, wallabies and echidna on the property. House is modern and clean. Provided a welcome basket with local goods on arrival which was a nice touch!

We have previously stayed in Goolwa South, this area was much quieter and peaceful. It’s an easy stroll into Goolwa. The decor was lovely, beds very comfy as was the couch. Would definitely stay again, communication via messages was excellent, thanks again Kim and Barry

Amazing holiday house that I would highly recommend. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and great location. Walking distance to the town centre, granites Island and local coffee shops.

We highly enjoyed our stay at the Old Cheese Factory. It was a very charming and tranquil place to stay with family and our pet dog. The temperature of the house remained cool and inviting even on the hottest days, without the need to turn on a fan or air conditioning. The kitchen was very well equipped which made food preparation during our stay easy and enjoyable. The living room is a marvellous space. We spent many contented hours reading and doing puzzles under the timber lined high ceilings. The Old Cheese Factory is also a good place from which to explore the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed visiting Goolwa, Port Elliot and Victor Harbor, which are an easy distance to travel to by car. I highly recommend The Old Cheese Factory to families, especially if travelling with their dog.

The manor couldn’t have been more perfect for a relaxing and quiet location close to all of the vineyards in the Borassa Valley . The two bedrooms are luxurious and Marijan and Peter were so welcoming and helpful . The pool and gardens are gorgeous ! The small kitchen was perfect , with everything one could need and we had an outdoor bar-b-q and sitting area which was perfect if you wanted to stay in and enjoy the grounds . Very peaceful get away !

Beautiful stay from start to finish. Mary was an amazing host, easily contactable and everything was a breeze! The place is stunning, with great views and so central to everything! Building and apartment amenities are great. I felt so comfortable.

Such a beautiful spot. The very spacious clean unit is situated right across from Encounter Bay with a view to the islands there. A very quiet peaceful neighbourhood and a short drive into the lovely town and surrounding beaches and bays. The unit was appointed with all necessities and made our stay easy and comfortable. The kids loved the PlayStation and games as well as the board games. Definitely recommend
