This was the perfect stay as a gateway to the Coonawarra region and surrounding areas. Georgie’s cottage was full of character, peaceful, well appointed and also gave us an informative background to Penola’s history. We so appreciated the warm welcome we received by the host (full marks for the Tassie Jantz also!) We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if we visit the region again.

Rogasch cottage was a beautiful place to stay. The scenery was amazing!!! Especially having the hot tub overlooking the vineyards and undulating landscape. Scotty and Craig were very friendly and welcoming. It was a great safe place for our kids, with pool fencing around the hot tub and cellar. There was also cups, plates and cutlery for the kids and bath toys. The resident “teenagers”, puppers Kenny and Oats, were adorable and the kids and us loved to give them pats and get their licks ☺️. The cottage came with all facilities needed and it was incredibly clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend.

Henri’s place would be one of the best BNB we have been in, he goes over and above to make your stay complete. This is the only real BNB we have found as far as provisions he supply’s , from cheese platters, chocolate, cereals , bacon n eggs, . Henri listens to your requirements such as gluten free . Fresh fruit… seriously all you need is your protein and a bit of veg … everything else is provided. So much to do around the area , wineries, places to eat… Henri’s place is clean and fresh.. has everything you need.. a relaxing spa, set up like a real little cottage should be. Would highly recommend you try this BNB you won’t be disappointed, some may think it’s a bit more expensive but totally worth it with what Henri provides. 3rd time here and we will definitely return again and again ..

Cumquat Cottage exceeded all expectations. Meriel and Patrick have impeccable taste and have created the most spectacular Airbnb. Every detail reflects elegance and thoughtful luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with generous touches: a bottle of bubbly, fine chocolates, a beautifully arranged cheese and fruit platter, sourdough bread, milk, tea, coffee, and well-stocked cupboards full of thoughtful amenities. The cottage itself is warm and inviting, with a bathroom that feels like a private spa—complete with a jacuzzi, bathtub, and spacious shower. Outside, the garden is a tranquil haven, filled with lush ferns and greenery, perfectly maintained and offering a peaceful escape. The patio, with its lovely dining area, is ideal for enjoying the serene surroundings. This stay was an absolute joy—luxurious, relaxing, and full of heart. Cumquat Cottage is truly a gem. Thank you & I truly hope to visit again !

What a magical place to stay! We had New Year’s Eve champagne looking over the vineyard. Just Stunning! The photos don’t do the retreat enough justice! Beautiful interiors, linen, fresh free range eggs and bacon. Lots of yummy treats stocked in the fridge. Very grateful for the stay and reset!

We loved every minute of our stay at The Retreat. From the delicious breakfast provided, to the detailed (& downloadable!) home instruction app- everything about the stay was restful, peaceful and relaxing. The host was quick to help out with any queries. The location is divine and we almost didn't want to leave The Retreat at all (even though it is perfectly located to head out & explore the Adelaide Hills!) because it was just a dream to stay in. The views, the spa, the reading nook... we can't rave about it enough. The perfect getaway! ❤️

Lovely and spacious cottage. Easy walk into the town and cellar doors are at your doorstep. Would definitely consider staying again if we are heading to the Clare Valley

“Number 10” is a cosy house, in a quiet, small street, in the city. The extensions to the oldest part have made it spacious. The bedroom on the first floor is very roomy. The entire house is decorated with photographs and paintings. The owner and his partner are very friendly and eager to assist. We had a lovely stay.

Absolutely 💯 fantastic accommodation ,wonderful home and large yard which our French Bulldog loved ! Was able to water out the front which has a great birds 🐦 bath ,attracts so many different types! Thanks Felicity your home made our trip!

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The house was very cosy, The kitchen was fully equipped, with the addition of spices and cooking condiments if needed. Plenty of towels and beach towels supplied as well as bathroom necessities which is great for a traveller that likes to carry little. The back yard was very quaint and peaceful, great for my morning coffee and read. The house was is in a great spot, walking distance to beach , shops, and many great coffee shops and restaurants. Overall very satisfied and will definitely return .

Very conformable stay short walk to Main Street (cafes and shopping centre) access to wifi a plus especially with work loved cooking on the BBQ used the best of the weather and the last days of day light savings definitely recommend for a couple or two great stay Thanks You Mark and Deb

We loved this place! We stayed the night before my wedding and used it to get ready morning of and it was perfect for this purpose! Perfect spot for hair and make up, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, comfortable and roomy bedrooms and lounge plus beautiful outdoor area. Loved the decor, the place felt clean and modern but still with character in keeping with the era of the home. The host Sarina was really easy to deal with. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful cozy home with amenities, walking distance to the beach and lots of options for cafes. close to bust stop, lots of parking.

This house had everything we needed for 3 friends to have a weekend in the Barossa - the main bathroom was huge and the beds were particularly comfy. It was a great base to walk to restaurants on the main street of Tanunda, and an easy drive to some lovely wineries. The alpacas were a bonus and cute company to have at the side of the yard.

Uta’s place is a compact but thoughtfully designed home-away-from-home in lovely garden oasis. It was comfortable, very clean and had those extra touches that make the visitor feel that the host has made an effort. There are two garden areas to choose from if you want to just sit and relax or have a drink. We had everything we needed, and Uta was a friendly, helpful and communicative host.

We absolutely loved Wild Hill Retreat! The comfort,ambience,spectacular view and generous pantry provisions were greatly appreciated. The close proximity to many wineries was great as well as a short drive to many beautiful beaches. A visit from the kangaroos was a bonus! Many thanks Georgie.

Lovely place to stay for a long weekend. It's in great proximity to some great wineries, breweries, and distilleries in the region. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent communication from hosts.

Lovely cottage perfect as a base to explore Clare Valley and surrounds. We loved our getaway and would love to come back in winter as it would be even cosier with a roaring fire. Thanks for all the small touches and hospitality Colleen!

We dont get to stay in mount gambier very often and at a last minute booking found this little place to stay. it was clean , lights were on to greet us that made it feel homely after arriving late in the day. cosy and location waas fantastic as we walked to the main street etc. thanks for having us x

Great location, close to shops in a quiet peaceful little town. Elizabeth stocked us up with b’fast goodies which was appreciated and we felt very comfortable in the house. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting some time out :)
