The photos and description don't do this lovely house justice. Fantastic location right on the seafront. Amazing to watch the changing weather and kitesurfers put on a free show in wild weather! Comfortable house with everything we needed. The back garden is beautiful with lovely planting and pretty lighting after dark. Database a friendly and helpful host and we would recommend this as a place to stay for a family or a few friends.

When we arrived we discovered that the lift in the block wasn't working which was a slight inconvenience as 2 of our party have mobility issues. On reporting it to Douglas he was nice enough to phone us (rather than just message) to ensure that it wasn't going to hamper our visit too much. This was our 2nd trip to this property and hopefully not our last as it is comfortable with all amenities needed by our party of 5.

This flat is lovely not far from the Turnberry hotel so great location. Clare was lovely and even dropped the key off for me at the hotel as was having lunch. Lovely quiet area the flat is in plenty of parking. Lovely surroundings beach, light house. Highly recommend will be back 💖

Talk about going an extra mile, Alison does that and many more. It is a real ‘Home from Home’ experience- Alison puts so much effort into making your stay stress free. I stayed there 28th February 2025 for three nights. Myself, my daughter and her two very young boys. Alison provided everything we needed to keep them happy, toys, games etc. The apartment is spotless, we had a little issue with the internet connection, texted Alison and she got back to us straight away with the solution. Only a five minute walk to a lovely play park right by the beach, Pirate Pete which has lots for young ones next to the park too. Town Centre with lots of shops, restaurants etc. within walking distance. Alison puts a lot of effort into making your stay perfect, on arrival there was Tea, coffee, bread, butter and much more, so no need to have to pop to the shop straight away. Alison was the perfect host going above and beyond what you’d normally expect. Would definitely stay there again.

Great spot, perfect location

Accommodation was in perfect location, right in the heart of Troon. Easy access and free parking was a bonus. Flat was clean, modern and had everything that we needed for the couple of days we was there for. We would return again. Thanks for having us.

Great stay, lovely apartment with a great view onto the harbour. Very clean and the hosts were quick to reply and left little extras which were greatly appreciated! Would highly recommend!!

Anchor's Rest was absolutely perfect for our brief stopover on our tour of Scotland. So spacious and well-equipped, we felt right at home the moment we walked through the door. We had 2 great nights' sleep, a delicious meal at the Chestnuts Hotel, a good walk up to Alloway to see Robert Burns' birthplace, a lovely run along the beach, a spot of shopping, a bit of a natter with some local folk in the Tam o'Shanter and the Smugglers pubs, and cooked some tasty locally bought pies and vegetables 'at home'. Thanks to Neil for being so helpful and friendly, a truly great stay.

Excellent location, sea views and close to the town centre. Shops, bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Super spacious and well presented property. Great communication from Lisbeth. I will definitely be back!

Janice was a fantastic host. The place was spotless and very comfortable. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed. There's a lovely pub, craft shop and cafe you can visit. All in Dunure and all great. We took a lovely walk down to the beach from the property. Would recommend wrapping up warm and proper walking boots but well worth it.

The flat was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and Clare who greeted us was super freindly and helpful. The area was peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked this for my colleagues who are working in the area and they loved it. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Host was great and responsive.

Our second time staying here, as we loved it so much the first time. The hosts are friendly and made sure to deliver great service. The place itself is spotless, and has plenty equipment in the kitchen if - like me- you love to cook. The shower is amazing too, which is always a lovely bonus. Definitely worth staying in, and well worth the asking price.

The property had everything we needed and more. Tracy has thought of everything. We were grateful for the welcome pack which included a lovely bottle of wine and tea, coffee, toiletries etc were provided. The beds were comfy and the apartment and was warm, cosy, modern and clean - exactly as described. Tracy is a great host and provided clear instructions for our stay.

We hugely enjoyed our stay here. The flat was even more beautiful in person and came fully fitted with everything you could need. The entrance was safe and secure and it was a perfect stay. I would highly recommend it!
