We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We used all the facilities apart from the outdoor pool. For two families of 4 we felt the accommodation was lovely, clean and homely with enough space to spend time together or separately. Great location for travelling out to other towns and activities and a handy tesco just up the road if you want to cook in the very well equipped kitchen. The owners were on-site, and very friendly. We would highly recommend this holiday home. Superb!

We had a very chilled 4 days at Clare’s lovely pool house. Clare and her husband are great host very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful and quiet and the sounds of the church bell ringers practising on Thursday night was lush, the pool house is warm and cozy.

Our third stay at Maria’s house and it was as perfect as before. Maria is a very responsive host. The house has everything you need and is immaculately clean inside. It’s the perfect location and you can reach many places without getting the car out if you don’t want to!

This was hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. I stayed here with a group of nine friends for a weekend, and we all had an incredible time. The house itself is stunning—beautifully renovated with an intriguing history that the owner was more than happy to share with me when I asked some questions about the old mill. We especially loved the ping pong table and the refreshing morning dips in the pond (definitely a wake-up call!). One of the highlights was our coastal walk from the house to Beer and then on to Seaton, stopping at a few pubs along the way. The views were breathtaking, and there were plenty of great spots to eat and drink. I’d highly recommend this walk for anyone staying here! Overall, a fantastic place to stay—I’d return in a heartbeat!

Louise's place has to be one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! Absolutely gorgeous countryside house, with 5 double bedrooms , loads of hang out space and a massive kitchen! The best part of course was the covered heated pool and all the complimentary inflatables that were left for us to use. The water temperature was just perfect and we left like we were in the tropics! We were a group of 10 including toddlers and had one of the best weekend getaways ! The house is also right next to a working farm, and Louise's son was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm. Our toddlers absolutely loved seeing the cows getting milked and the week-old calves getting fed. Lastly, Louise was really easy to communicate with and super quick at responding whenever we had a query. Overall it was one of the most memorable stays for us and would highly highly recommend this place ! We hope to be back soon!

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

What a great house to stay in, the pictures don’t actually do it justice. It has everything that you could expect and more, plenty of space and stuff to keep children occupied

This is an amazing house in a perfect location. We had everything we could ask for. The beds were very comfortable. We were warm throughout our stay. The house was a warm hug and we really appreciate the attention the owners have given to us as guests. The car park was super close. Highly recommended!!

Helen’s place was absolutely wonderful, so peaceful and relaxing, exactly what was needed this weekend! Was really close to royal William yard which is where we needed to be, lots of extras included in the home like tea, coffee, sugar and milk! The beds were sooo comfy and clean, the heating was on at a comfortable level so the house was warm and cosy, was exactly as described and photographed! Was really wonderful to stay in a homely place, would highly recommend and would stay again. Also they were super responsive to any messages and even offered a longer check out if needed, all around amazing

We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb whilst waiting for our new home in Exeter. It was peaceful, private, comfortable and just what we needed. Central but not noisy. Kerry was friendly and always available and extended our stay twice when we desperately needed to, due to unexpected new house admin delays. We highly recommend’The Old surgery’.

We had a fantastic stay here. The accommodation has so much space, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, with wonderful views of the sea/Burgh Island through large doors/windows and just a 2 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. Fun to watch the tide and even more fun walking across to the Pilchard Inn and returning on the sea tractor! Five of us stayed and we all had our own bathrooms. Nice touches, coffee machine, and tumble dryer use if necessary. Very well stocked kitchen of crockery, cutlery, etc. Nice space for parking in the front driveway and a lovely garden for doggies - we took two and they had a fabulous holiday also! The hot tub was an additional cost but well worth it as it was great to hop in at the end of the day. Everything you would expect from a luxury listing and we were not disappointed. Would love to visit again.

We had a fantastic stay in Salcombe. The property is in a perfect location and instructions regarding the optional parking permit and local car parks was very clear. The property was spotless and contained everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!

We instantly felt at home here. The house has been done up lovely and it gives a calm and inviting feel to it. Everything was as described and we would definitely return.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The location, house and setting were breathtaking. Lyndon himself was a true gentleman who fully understood our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. A truly nice, genuine person who cared about his property and our stay in it being the best it could be. Going as far as organising and setting up kegs of beer on tap to be enjoyed in the amazing home bar that was offered. Check in and out could not have been easier and was very nice for us to actually meet the host and to meet such a good guy. The cleanliness was exceptional! The recommendation for and booking of a local restaurant, where we had one of the best meals we’ve had in years was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Lyndon’s property more and will be telling anyone I know who wants to stay in Tavistock area that’s the place for them. Truly the English language fails in articulating how happy we are with our stay at Lyndon’s property! Fantastic!!!!!

Kingsand and Cawsand are beautiful and welcoming places to relax. Don’t miss going to the Rising Sun pub

nice place to go with family… really really nice nd clean house…. danny is a great man called him he talk really nicely nd polite nd asked him local beaches he told me everything wat i needed… thnx mate hopefully will b back there again

We booked Chloe's house as a base for our engineers who were working in the area for the month. Communication was fantastic and Chloe made everything so easy. The house itself was so comfortable and homely and had everything our engineers needed. Thanks Chloe

This place is wonderful! beautifully clean, tidy, comfy beds and furniture and some nice touches like a big bag of popcorn in the cinema room! There was so much space for the whole family and the house caters for all age groups...and the dog! We had mostly great weather and so went to Goodrington Beach for the morning which was only 10 mins away, but could have spent the whole weekend in the house no problem, as it was so well equipped. Would highly recommend for a big family get-together...we will be returning!

Our stay was so comfortable thanks to Louise! The house was absolutely spotless, neat and we felt right at home. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful and so easy to drive out to different activities and locations. We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.

This is my second visit to Lisa's place. Loved it so much the first time it was worth a second visit and did not disappoint. A lovely, cosy house perfect for us with a dog. Walking distance into town and yet set back up the hill so that it is wonderfully quiet. Good location for both Salcombe and the surrounding areas such as Thurlestone, Bantham.
