Cozy house and perfect location, 30 mins walk to Salamanca. Just one downside… only one air-con in the living room, every bedroom is very hot to sleep during heatwave.

This beautiful property was a pleasure to stay in. It had everything we needed plus the comforts of home, including being able to bring our family dog. Located in the serene Adventure Bay, the place is close to the local shops and restaurants. Wildlife was almost always visible from any room in the house. The host provided clear instructions and was very responsive. We would happily stay again!

Being able to have my dogs with me rather than boarding them for 10 days was great. Homely place to stay, and was lovely and warm on arrival in mid winter, due to Esther’s thoughtfulness of having air con going for my early arrival. I requested and was granted early check in as I had a morning event I needed to be at

Nice beachside location close to Hobart. Whilst located on a slightly busy road, there was no road noise heard when inside, bus stop was just near the house and so convenient for getting in and around Hobart. All that you need including comfortable beds when travelling. Enjoyed our stay.

Great stay thanks Helen. Very relaxing few days. Appreciated the well equipped kitchen every thing you would need. Days were spent enjoying the water view and the nights sitting around the firepit looking at the stars.

Great location and interesting building was the old library renovated. Very comfortable and had every thing you needed. Would stay there again

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

We were here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Michelle was so kind to bring a cute cake to celebrate her. It was such a beautiful gesture. The house is so peaceful and beautiful. It is surrounded with private land so many trees and chickens. We enjoyed morning walk sunrise and sunset. Lots and lots of board games in the house to keep your little one occupied. Over all we had amazing time at Banksia cottage.

Had a fabulous time on this beautiful property and Vicki was a friendly and responsive host. This was a great place for a long weekend getaway for our extended family, which included a toddler and dog. Standout features were the private, peaceful and natural bushland, the spa and pool, the well appointed kitchen, and child-friendly amenities. Our small granddaughter enjoyed the various toys, and playing in the pool and clam sandpit. The only downside was that our daughter's dog (a dachshund) kept escaping as she was able to fit underneath the fences and gates even though we tried various means to prevent this - therefore, this place may not be suitable for small dogs who don't have good recall :) . All in all we would stay here again for a family holiday as it was close to perfect as we could have wished. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay with our family with young children that loved the pool area. Would highly recommend a family to stay, only 10 minutes from Hobart was also a plus.

The host and her lovely family are very friendly and easy . Sandy bay main park / ocean views are only 5 min walk - posh and nice area

We loved staying here! Angela is lovely and the accommodations were very comfortable and peaceful. My husband was able to work remotely and we were very close to great restaurants. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay.

Our stay was terrific! Anne Maree was very friendly, kind and helpful, providing us with recommendations around Hobart. It was in a great location and had everything we needed!

Janette was very friendly and welcoming, she was home when we arrive and on departure. she was very helpful with any of our needs and extremely responsive with messages. Our little puppy and children where very welcome into the home of Jans. Jan was very accommodating with amendments, and food, washing machine ect. This home was just like a home away from home. We highly recommend Jans home, we will definitely be back again if we where to visit Hobart in the future 😀

Was a lovely home would of been even better if their was tvs in the rooms but other than that it was very nice

Kasey's place was a little peace of heaven! We brought our dog with us and there were toys and treats for him. Kasey had a delicious bottle of wine cooling and some treats for us too! We spent a lot of time at the beach or the parks nearby. Loved every minute of our stay!

This is my new favorite Airbnb experience. It is such a beautiful location, the birds and the view are spectacular, and the home feels like you’re staying at your best friend’s cabin in the woods—only better, because it’s totally clean and it’s all yours for the night :) My partner and I took turns enjoying the outdoor bathtub. We walked up the road and took in all the sounds of the birds and the breeze, and the wonderful smell of the eucalyptus forest. It was easy to get a fire going inside the fireplace, and the kitchen had everything we might have needed. We loved the artwork and the books and plants, and the cozy furniture and the linen sheets and the local soaps….Everything is really thoughtful and beautiful, but not too pretentious or bougie. What a sweet family home! Thank you for sharing and making it available to guests.
