Man hat sich direkt willkommen und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die ganze Familie war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Haben auch ganz tolle Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, Massage usw bekommen. War auch super interessant ein bisschen mehr über die Kultur zu erfahren. War auf jeden Fall ein Abenteuer im Dschungel zu leben. Danke für die schöne Zeit! ;)

Loved spending NYE here. They just finished the barbecue area in time for NYE and we got to have a lovely party with wonderful food and very pleasant company. Chea and his family are great, the vibe is awesome, the place is right on the village beach, very near the jetty where the ferry arrives. And it's an easy walk to the quieter and bigger beach, or up to the sunset viewing spot. Only minuses: the trash buildup around the island, and the mosquitos, especially in the bathroom (I got crazy bitten) meaning you have to douse yourself in repellant a few times a day if you're susceptible. Still, the value and the welcome and the peace and quiet were wonderful, and at this moment anyway, you are still able to find a secluded spot on the big beach away from other people where you can enjoy the incredible warm, calm water, while also having a good few dinner and bar options for later if you want to socialise. Ideal.

What a lovely peaceful spot listening to the waves and relaxing. The cabin is small and basic and yes, the electricity, hot water and Wifi can fail at times but the guardians of the land are always quick to respond and put things right. Thanks Kadek, Iluh and all who looked after me so well during my stay. I arrived just before Nyepi when all the Atm's were closed so I had no cash to get some food for the day of silence. I was brought fruit and lent money so I didn't go hungry and am really grateful for such caring generosity. Thomas's detailed instructions were great too for nearby places to eat and local suggestions. Highly recommended 😊

Hosts were amazing! Made getting to the Airbnb from the ferry vary easy and were also very welcoming on arrival with places to eat and visit. The rental bike was very affordable and made traveling around the area very easy. They were very communicative and helpful throughout the visit with events going on throughout the stay. The place is very beautiful with sunsets visible every day from the attached beach. The kitchen allows you to make home cooked meals whenever you need to. The location is amazing as well with restaurants, beaches, bars, barber shops, grocery stores, and anything you would need just around the corner.

It is a great place to stay for everybody who loves sea. 30 seconds and you are at the beautiful sea shore and beach which is very comfortable for swimming and sunbathing. The location is perfect to find walkable thai food restaurants and grocery stores. Bungalow is very clean and comfortable too. Michael was very helpful and friendly host. Thanks a lot for your help and service 🙌

Waking up to the beach at your feet was amazing. We did rent a motorbike to get around and the drive to the main market and beaches was 10-15 minutes. You have an exchange & 7/11 right across the street which was super convenient! You can also walk to some yummy restaurants. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Wir haben hier eine wundervolle Zeit verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist großartig. Direkt am Meer, viele Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar, trotzdem mit viel Privatsphäre und zudem mit einer tollen Einrichtung sowie mit einem großartigen Frühstück auf der eigenen Privatterasse. Diem hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden so dass wir uns ab dem ersten Tag wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Wenn wir wieder hierher kommen, würden wir uns auf jeden Fall auch wieder hier einquartieren.

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans les bungalows de Sébastien. Situation parfaite à l’écart mais près de tout. Sébastien et sa famille sont très accueillants et l’environnement du lieux est magique. À faire si vous souhaitez profiter d’un cadre idyllique les pieds dans l’eau et profiter à fond de koh phangan.

This was a great little set of cabins that worked great for our family. Our kids stayed in one cabin with 2 single beds and we stayed in the other which has a queen. The two cabins are separated by a beautiful pool. The location felt secluded but was very much walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shopping. Our kids loved playing with the two resident cats.

Tropical heaven. This place is really nice and surrounded by lovely palm trees and Forrest. Don’t let you fool by it’s location. You are in the middle of the best places to go. If you go 15 min by scooter one way you are in the local beach area of lipa noi and 12 min the other way you are in the more touristy area of Lamai. The silence is so great with the birds singing makes it so special. The pool area and the bar area is so beautiful with so many plants. Love it. Great and easy covered parking for the scooter. The bungalows are really big 1 living room and 1 bedroom and the view from the bathroom is breathtaking It’s hard to get out of the shower. That’s how nice it is. The big beds are also nice. Sitting in the front balcony watching the pool area and enjoy the breakfirst is absolutely stunning as well. The even most important is The owners are so great and wonderful people they really make you feel like home. Thank you manou and Turn🙏

This was my second long term stay at south mountain, and again, we loved the experience! The rooms are big and comfy, the staff always responsive and helpful, the property and views are breathtaking. It’s a really wonderful stay away from the traffic of town. We enjoyed the restaurant too! They have the best wine list I’ve seen on the island and their steaks are imported and of very high quality. Yum. I stayed a month twice, but even if you have just a few days, south mountain is one of a kind for Siquijor.

Die Unterkunft und unsere Gasteltern waren super!!!!!!! Wir haben die Privatsphäre mit dem tollem Pool, dem sehr leckeren Frühstück, den freundlichen Hausangestellten sehr genossen. Fred und Avi waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden immer wieder gerne hier übernachten. Ein großes Lob für alles. Da die Unterkunft ca. 3 km vom Stadtzentrum liegt, war es sehr ruhig und erholsam. Mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Tuktuk war man schnell in der Stadt. Wir waren zwei Monate hier und haben keine einzige Minute bereut.

I loved this Beautiful tropical paradise. Very nice garden and pool. It’s very quiet at night, I slept very well. It would be nice to have thicker/softer bed and blankets/pillows. But u guess that is just personal preference :) overall very nice place with a very good restaurant

It was very hot when we arrived at Elyu but the hose already turned on all the aircon at the property just like in hotels. 👏🏼 Place is clean and no weird smell. Has towels. Water pressure in all bathrooms are good as well. They also have hot water unit. Netflix on TV is available too. Location is so close to everything. We just walked during the night to get around San Juan. Will surely go back! :)

Our stay was amazing. We stayed for 2 weeks. There is a great front balcony facing the sea and completely netted so you’re free from bugs. There’s a full kitchen which is handy, the room is large with a bed and desk and some storage space. The shower was temperamental, sometimes we had cold showers. If you like a jungle vibe that’s peaceful and you want to get away it’s great! Note, it’s in Pyramid Yoga which makes it much easier to find. Taxis don’t usually go up the steep hill so be prepared to walk up. We were unable to get a scooter there.. because they hand none/ the one they had was too old and was told to find one elsewhere. We were able to walk down to the beach and spent Christmas there which was really special! Overall I would come back again for a quiet and peaceful stay. There’s also a huge ecstatic dance event on Sundays if you want to join!

I have to agree 100% with all the previous reviews. Annie (Juliana) has gone above and beyond for us during our week stay in March. She is a little pocket rocket always on the go. The house is private, close to everything and Annie can drive you or provide transport options. Our breakfast was healthy, freshly cooked and just perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Annie. She was flexible with our dietary needs, ensured our stay was comfy, regularly asking after our needs. We walked, and even rode the bicycles to nearby warungs. (Our fave was Warung Made down the road on the right before you get the beach. Great cook.) The bungalow is in the front of the large property, surrounded by a beautiful garden, birdlife and it is quiet although you are close to the main road. We had great sleep, loved the large shower and the pool was cool & large. There are also two very large bedrooms with large ensuites available in the main house for rent. Annie is a sweet, kind and great hostess
