Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Phyllis, & her daughter Jennifer, went above & beyond to make us, our 6yo & 12yo, and our crazy Bernedoodle feel very welcome. They seemed very happy to have us, and even offered us many of their personal things and private areas on their property to enjoy. Unique & beautiful surroundings that push you to relax, with a cozy/charming/glamping-style accommodation that makes you feel at home.

A wonderful place with a magnificant host. My wife and I had a fantastic time at this gem of a place, making fire by the water and dancing to the tunes, under the moonlight, creating long lasting memorable moments. Fantastic view. Quiet and peaceful. Wonderful host with excellent comunication with everything available for you and more, and being so easy going and friendly. Very clean. The Hay Bay Hideaway exceeded our group's wildest dreams for the perfect End of Summer get-away. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and unique property and home, with exceptionally communicative, helpful, and gracious hosts. Our group of 10 slept comfortably in the 5 bedrooms this historic home offers, indulged in the well stocked pantries, utilized the gorgeous selection of vintage dish-ware, and experienced cozy nights by the beautiful wood stove fireplaces while enjoying a wide array of musical instruments available throughout the home. This property backs onto a private inlet with still, lily pad covered water, visited by blue herons, kingfishers, blue jays and many other woodland friends. We also enjoyed the various watercrafts, including a row boat, pedal boat, and canoe on the open water that connects directly to the small inlet. The experience was incredibly unique, absolutely smooth and accessible, and deeply memorable. A return trip is definitely in the works :)

A wonderful escape from the city for any couple or family! Everything you honestly need is right in the cottage. We had a wonderful time just relaxing, cooking together and making great memories spending quality time with each other. The hot tub & fire pit made it extra special, this was my son’s favourite part! We look forward to returning in the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful lake views & access!

Lainie and Gene have a lovely Airbnb, with every comfort you could want. An unobstructed view of the bay. Communication was terrific and helpful, and they went the extra mile to make me feel safe and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

We had a phenomenal time at this stunning lakeside retreat. While it looks like a perfect summer getaway—serene, spacious, and incredibly private—its winter beauty is just as remarkable. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival. If you’re looking for a peaceful yet memorable escape, this is the place to be.

The perfect place for a weekend get away. The photos dont do it justice. Quiet and peaceful to get away from the city life. The pool was amazing, and everything you could imagine needing was there. Very clean and comfortable. Wish I was there right now.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

My family had a great time at the resort. Roberto was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The home was clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was. Perfect spot for kids as there is tons to do on the resort grounds and you are 15 minutes from almost all major attractions. The pool was fantastic for kids with a very large shallow end, towel service, life jackets etc. will definitely return next time we are in PEC.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

This was a perfect place to stay to experience all PEC has to offer. Jen was a fabulous host- very communicative and extremely helpful, especially as we enjoyed our first time in Canada. The resort staff were super friendly. The neighbors are fabulous and the house was immaculate and comfortable. Excellent experience from booking through our departure.

My family (parents and kids) took a week long vacation at Pamela’s cottage. We had a great time. The resort was not at all crowded, we could sign out for canoe/kayak/paddle board whenever we wanted. There was sign up for gym and adult pool as well but whenever we showed up there were free spots. The family pool is more popular but if you show up on time to register you’d get what you wanted in terms of time. It is good to have covid measures like these, it felt like a safe resort to be at. The grounds were beautiful, we have a nice view of the lake from the covered porch even though it wasn’t technically “waterfront” it felt like it, just two steps away. The resort beach is mostly rocky, so bring water shoes unless you don’t mind. It was a short drive or bike ride to Sandbanks, which we explored daily, beach there is of course sandy. Sandbanks requires pre registration as well even if you have a park pass. The house itself was very modern and comfortable. It had lots of movies and books and toys. The house was fully stocked in terms of kitchen utensils and towels/linens. It is super convenient to have laundry in the house for all those beach visits. The only small issues we had were with the BBQ where is was not heating up to a high temperature, but we figured it out cooking in the kitchen instead. Pamela was very responsive and tried to help us on the phone but of course it would not be easy to fix over the phone. The other small issue was the internet which was fast enough some times and other times not really working, which would limit Netflix etc as well. We just used my personal phone hotspot for when we had trouble. I would say if you have data it would not be a problem but if you are wanting to work from there it might be spotty. I really loved it at the cottage and so did the kids. Great host as well who takes care of the property and guests. We would return in a heartbeat.

The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

We enjoyed our visit and use of the cottage. Lisa was fantastic and attentive. She was available for any questions and responded quickly. The cottage was very clean and cozy.

This was a very cozy and comfortable cottage, surrounded by lots of nature and a nice body of water. I rented this place out with friends, and we spent the weekend playing board games, spending time outside, and just overall pressing pause on life and it's stressors. It was a much-needed type of weekend for us all, and Andrew's cottage gave us the option to do exactly that. Lovely place, and the host is very helpful with all instructions and communications. Very easy to reach and very friendly. All these factors contributed to a magnificent weekend, and Andrey's availability and ease of reach made things that much better.

I recently stayed at Peng's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a serene ambiance that made our stay incredibly relaxing. What truly stood out was Peng's hospitality. We had a last-minute change in our guest list, and Peng was more than accommodating, making the adjustments seamlessly. Moreover, when we encountered a minor issue with a beeping appliance, Peng personally came over to fix it right away, ensuring our comfort was never compromised. I highly recommend staying at Peng's place for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-hosted experience.

Jeff was such a kind and accommodating host! 10/10 communication and made us feel right at home. A beautiful location as well right by the lake. We can't wait to come back in the summer :)

This home is stunning, and well equipped, in a beautiful location. It was outstanding to be right on the lake with kayaks and canoes. Nights were spent grilling, having bonfires, and looking out over the lake (or up at the stars) in the hot tub. Everything was fantastic - the only downfall is accessibility, as you need to take a ferry to the island. At the end of the day though, the ferry was just an extra piece of planning and research, but was unproblematic. Great house - thank you Maria!

We had a wonderful, restful and peaceful time. The house was so comfortable, spacious, well-appointed and had everything we needed for indoor and outdoor fun. The lakeside was so beautiful and we so enjoyed watching all the bird life every day and canoeing in the evening followed by a bonfire. The hosts were really responsive to our questions and needs. It was just what we needed for some quality family time!

Joy was absolutely wonderful! Such a beautiful space! Joy was an extremely friendly person and very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and if we’re ever in the area again, we will be back!
