We loved the Place in Verona and highly recommend it. During our 2 day, 3 night stay we hiked in Frontenac Provincial Park, walked along the Frontenac K&P trail... discovered a delicious German bakery and spent a lot of time just hanging out together at their beautiful cabin. It is so peaceful and thoughtfully composed. The wood burning stove was a delight... Silver is a great host and the cabin itself quickly felt like home.

This was our second stay, and we already hope to return! Alison is an amazing host—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. She even put out food to attract deer, and we loved watching them (along with spectacular bird watching from multiple spots). The Airbnb itself is immaculate, well-stocked, and has everything you could need. The shower is pure luxury! Highly recommend for a peaceful, comfortable getaway. 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect family getaway. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, always quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location offered so much to do — from outdoor activities and so many games there was never a dull moment. Whether we were enjoying the ice rink or hot tub or simply enjoying the cozy space, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun-filled family retreat!

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. The place was spotless and well-maintained. The hot tub was a fantastic feature. Parker was responsive and helpful.

This was by far the best Airbnb any of us have stayed in. The house was absolutely beautiful and everything was in pristine condition. From the welcome basket and detailed guide book with local recommendations, to the spare key for when we locked ourselves out, Meghan truly thought of everything. She was so kind and responsive, we would recommend this stay a thousand times.

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!

we decided on a 5 day family vacation with my 2 boys and our French bulldog. we wanted something unique, off grid, peaceful and where we can connect as a family after a busy summer. the tiny oak cabin delivered all of the above. we were surrounded by beautiful scenery, forestry and incredible sunsets. fresh farm eggs were available for purchase as well as firewood making it easy to access! Andrea and her family were so pleasant and let my boys feed the farm baby goats. what a great experience from beginning to end. would definitely recommend!!!!

Another enjoyable stay at Les Temps Perdu - this time with my 19 yr old daughter. (stayed as a family of 3 in October for Fall colours and hikes). We 2 were fortunate enough to return last week for a few nights in the midst of the winter snow storms. Despite -20 nights, the wood burning stove kept the cabin cosy (there are also portable electric heaters). Hermann ensured we had plenty of wood and did a great job clearing paths of snow in advance of our arrival. We had a refreshing winter stay. Snowy walks were crunchy and fresh. Stars were spectacular. There is a French press for coffee - or bring a cone for pour overs. The kitchen is well supplied. I knit, we read, played scrabble - I lost badly. There are speakers (handy because we forgot ours).The internet was decent - though we weren't streaming video so I can't speak to that. Tracey and Hermann are lovely hosts - friendly, available, accommodating, but not intrusive. We will be busy this spring but maybe a summer visit?!!

We intended to have a peaceful, relaxing weekend and we were not disappointed. As magic as this spot is in the summer, it brings some much-needed quiet in the fall months. We have stayed before and had as much as a lovely time as we did the last. We will absolutely return! Thank you again for the hospitality!

We had the most amazing time at the Conifer cabin. The interior is tastefully done and the place is immaculate! Very cozy, relaxing, quiet -just PERFECT! I can go on and on. The sauna and the fireplace are a great addition and treat after a hike. As an outdoor lover, we truly enjoyed the surroundings -the nature. The kids enjoyed and couldn't wait to come back. The hosts were very responsive and their place was clean and cozy right beside the lake. We enjoyed using their kayak for water activities. Bonus for being a super dog friendly place where friendly puppers are able to roam free. Many thanks especially to Mike who patiently showed us around and also shared with us his tips and knowledge about the area. He was very considerate and asked if we were ok with the noise level, otherwise he could move us to another area as another group was having a party. We were totally fine with it as it was still early in the evening but appreciated his kind gesture and going the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Made many wonderful memories on this trip and hope to return again someday! Thank you for being such great hosts!

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!

My partner and I quite enjoyed our get away to the cabin. It is extremely close to Perth if you want to find a good restaurant or bakery. We loved the peaceful sounds of the birds and the silence of the night. We felt right at home from check in to departure. Jane and her husband were fantastic. Highly recommended and we will absolutely be returning.
