Stunning natural landscaoe and beautiful countryside getaway, close to the forest of dean. We came with a baby and a highchair and travel cot were availabke on arrival. Hosts were very responsive and allowed us to check out late since there was noone due to arrive that day and we were travelling with a baby, which was so considerate. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Kate was a fantastic host. The accommodation had everything we could need and was spotlessly clean. It’s in a fantastic location, very close to city centre but in a very quiet road and close to a brilliant pub. We will definitely check availability next time we return to Bath!

A second very comfortable stay, thank you! This is a beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfy property. The hot tub is brilliant, with lovely views over the fields behind. We also appreciated all the thought that has gone into making guests comfortable, from the fresh milk and local cheese in the fridge, to the home made cake, to the stove made up ready to light, and not to forget the extremely comfy beds. Communication was always prompt, friendly and helpful - we were very grateful for the flexibility around check in and check out times. We will hope to come back!

We loved our stay at the barn,, super cosy and peaceful ! Bridget & Mark were both lovely hosts and helped us to find our way there.! Everything was immaculately clean and the bed was so comfy !!! Lots of cosy blankets to keep warm in front of the fire on cold winter evenings too ~ I would say make sure to bring a pair of wellies just in case, as it rained before we arrived and had to make a short walk across the field to get to the car and my shoes got very muddy ! Overall a great place to stay & just wish we could have stayed for longer !

Lovely stay at the Cow Barn. It’s so peaceful but quick to get to other parts of the Cotswolds. The sunrise from the bedroom was beautiful and the fire pit was great. Would definitely stay again, and would love to stay in summer to make better use of the terrace!

Lovely accommodation and peaceful location. Charles very helpful in providing hypoallergenic pillow for me and suggesting places to eat. We had good pub grub at the Three Crowns and an excellent Sunday roast at the Somerford Arms. All well recommended.

Such a great find, so peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed & more. Very comfy & warm. Dog proof cottage & garden with lots of walks on your doorstep. Loved meeting the curious cows. Hope to revisit in the future. Xxx

Nicky and Mark’s place is beyond perfection! Waking up to a picturesque farm with lots of sheep was unexpectedly calming! My husband and I could gaze at the view all day long. Everything exceeds our expectations. We could really feel how much care and effort they put into designing this Airbnb, aesthetically and practically. All the home decorations go so well with the wooden fixtures and neutral colors. The amount of windows and lights make the house very well-lit. The kitchen is stocked with seasonings and tools for guests to cook with no fuss. Complimentary milk and flowers were offered too. A great selection of books and games were supplied. I particularly love how they support their community by promoting local businesses and attractions in their house guide and curating tons of reading materials about the surroundings and Wiltshire. This is hands down the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. This barn house honestly is the best place to rewind and recharge. Will definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Claire's lovely holiday home. It was an ideal location for meeting up with family. The accommodation was very well equipped, warm and spotless with some very thoughtful generous touches of teabags, coffee etc and some basic provisions. It was very peaceful and the parking was spacious. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you.

The Carthorse Barn was perfect for us travelling as a family of three. It was spacious, super clean, great shower and fab bath, big comfy beds. It has the flexibility and privacy of a self-catering place with little touches of hotel luxuries. Annette provided clear instructions and was responsive through out our stay - we really appreciated the late check out too. We had family staying in the nearby Isis Lake lodges and as lovely as they were, everyone preferred Carthorse Barn!

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! Thank you again Sam, Adrian and William!

Our stay was lovely - we visited for a few nights as a long weekend for our first time visiting Cheddar. The Barn was exactly as described. It had everything advertised with added homely touches, the welcome basket had the essentials and it was a very nice touch to make us feel at home. The fire was perfect and Catherine was very friendly and proactive with her communication. Check-in was easy and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location is perfect to access both the local town and the gorge so highly recommend.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in de cottage van Joanne. Het zuidelijke deel van de Cotswolds kun je uitstekend vanuit hier ontdekken, ook een dagje uit naar Wales (Cardiff) is goed te doen. Mooie wandelingen, authentieke dorpen en andere activiteiten zijn in overvloed in de omgeving aanwezig. Het dorp waar de cottage ligt is klein, heerlijk rustig en met een uitstekende en gastvrije pub op 2 minuten lopen. De cottage is comfortabeler, wel vonden we (als langer Nederlands gezin) de bedden (2-persoonsbed was 1.40m breed) en deken krap waardoor we uiteindelijk de kinderen in de grote slaapkamer hebben gelegd en wij in de kinderkamer zijn gaan liggen. Maar de heerlijke houtkachel en gezellige woonkamer maakte dat zeker goed. Absoluut dus een aanrader om dit prachtige deel van Engeland te ontdekken!

Everything was sparkling clean and we enjoyed the little details like the milk in the fridge and the high quality towels and bedding etc. as well as the slippers and dressing gowns. Clear instructions on how to use the appliances and lots of local recommendations - we went to a local pub for dinner and it was great. Thank you.

Such a lovely home - very beautifully presented. The house is on a country road so cars do go quite quickly past the house but it's absolutely the views and the house. There are a few steps in and around the property but this worked fine for disabled guests in our party. The management company were very responsive and the family next door were friendly and warm. It was comfortable, beautifully decorated and perfect for our weekend. We had a great time and would come again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful barn conversion! The space is absolutely stunning, with modern amenities while still retaining its charm. The property was spotless, and we appreciated how thoughtfully everything was prepared for our stay. The peaceful countryside location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and it was great to have a quiet environment for our little ones. The travel cot provided for our 10-month-old was a nice touch and made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend for families looking for a serene retreat.
