We really, really enjoyed our stay and it was better if anything than the pictures and description. Would recommend to anyone!

Lovely stay for the weekend - it’s really beautiful and well appointed. Spotless and spacious. Communication before arrival was excellent. I scraped my ankle and the hosts provided plasters promptly which was much appreciated. Bath was also very comfy, a real treat as we don’t have one! Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant 3 night stay at Humbug Barn!! Its a superbly presented converted barn, overlooking a stunning forestry valley! Amanda was a fantastic host, always on hand with whatever request or query we had, nothing was too much trouble! Early morning dog walks in the woods and we were lucky enough to see the local deer residents which was great! Long days out, with plenty of things for the family to do nearby, and what better way to unwind and relax than to sit in the hot tub which overlooks the valley. Everything you need is right here, wish we had booked longer and we will definitely be back! Thanks Amanda and family!

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

The cottage was beautiful and so peaceful. We sat outside every morning listening to the birds with a cup of coffee and in the evenings, we had so many options- from a cosy seating area and outdoor fire, to the lounge with a fantastic stove - or the hot tub once we’d gotten it warm. We visit the area a lot and the location is great! There are walks on the doorstep- and within 20 mins you can hire bikes and canoes/paddle-boards! Coming back to a serene private retreat after an active day is just bliss. Beds are very comfy, kitchen is well equipped and Meng kindly left the essentials (tea,coffee, hot chocolate, milk and eggs- as well as oil and spices!) We would definitely stay again! We really enjoyed our stay, it was so peaceful and the views were stunning. There was everything we needed at the cottage and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise, we even had an Easter egg to enjoy. Jamie and Dan were on holiday while we were there, but they still took the time to check that we had settled in okay and they were still available to contact. We loved sitting in the hot tub taking in the wonderful countryside and watching the lambs in the fields opposite. The spiral stairs are very steep, but we soon got the hang of them. We walked to the local pub which has a Mexican restaurant, which was good and the people were very friendly. Just be aware that it is an uphill walk back! We would definitely recommend staying here for a lovely relaxing break and if you like walking there are great trails in the Forest of Dean that are a very short drive away.

The Coach House was beautiful, stunning inside and out.. Private secluded hot tub.. A lot of information on local area and things to do.. Nice little breakfast treats left for us and some fresh flowers.. Definitely would recommend staying here for a get away.. Thank you Joy x

I’ve stayed here a number of times Angela is such a lovely host this was my first stay in this particular cottage and wow what a wonderful place it is highly recommend what a bed and what a shower!!! Angela also provides home made bread and jam for breakfast and t get the kitchen has everything you could need. I’ll definitely be back

We loved our stay at this charming cottage: Beautifully decorated, cosy and thoughtfully equipped — it felt like a real home away from home. The welcome / Easter hamper was a super nice touch too! 🐣 The well-maintained tennis court was a definite highlight for my boys (and husband!). The setting is peaceful and relaxing, yet perfectly located for exploring nearby walks, Bath, the arboretum, and more. The local farm shop (Allington) is worth a visit too. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Angela was a wonderful host, was always ready to help with everything we needed. Had a great time at her place, the kids loved their interaction with the two horses. The home was so cosy and really beautiful. Loved the fireplace

Cosy and peaceful place on the outskirts of Bristol. Warm and comfortable. One word of warning to anyone tall, I am 5'7'' and the kitchen ceiling is a little taller than myself, also duck at the doorway. The rest of the place is standard height. Easy parking, cute little front garden, a well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds.

Claire was a great host, felt instantly at home on my arrival at the Hayloft. It was clean, very comfortable, had everything you would need to make your stay effortless, just the perfect location. So peaceful and calm. I throughly enjoyed my stay and so did Mr Bogart 🐶 lovely walks together, it was the perfect getaway for a bit of R&R. I hope we will retun for another stay at the Hayloft.

We had a wonderful stay at middle barn. The accomodation was so pristine we thought it was a new listing! Tom and Kate were very accommodating The locatiion is also excellent. The outside space was lovely too and of course the amazing weather helped I was born in bath and it is a great base. Hope to come again and will pass on to other friends

We really enjoyed our stay on the farm. The location is peaceful and convenient for visiting Bath. The hosts were very welcoming and we were invited to use the garden. Our 6 year old loved the animals, especially playing fetch with the dog! The accommodation was clean and warm, and had all we needed for self catering. Highly recommended!

A wonderful cottage just minutes out of Bristol. Perfect for what we needed for our single night stay visiting our son at Uni.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights and it was a very cosy stay! We had a lovely time and that was thanks to Sophia! She was very helpful and responsive when we had questions about the property. I would recommend everyone to stay here.

We stayed as a couple for two months. Lovely hosts are responsible, helpful, and friendly. Farm cottage with very good hygiene and also with beautiful garden. We often enjoyed riverside walk at Severn beach. We should have stayed longer.

Elena and Bernard were the perfect hosts. The Barn was very easy to find, a beautiful peaceful location next to St Andrews Church. Everything was spotless, one of the best equipped kitchens we've had with Air B&B. Such a comfortable bed, plenty of space to put your things away. Beautiful bathroom, lovely hot shower and fluffy towels. We had a problem with the Internet and Bernard came round straight away and sorted it out for us. We enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as we were lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully we will again in the future. I just love staying at Arwen's cottage. It has everything that you need to help you settle in for your stay. It's a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. If you forget to bring anything, the town is within a walking distance and it's a chance to take in the views. I find this place to be value for money: you have the whole cottage to stay in, a beautiful location to explore and you have privacy throughout your stay. I actually find it hard to find places to match this one! This was my fourth visit to the cottage, so that should say everything. :)

Highly recommend staying here. From the warm welcome at the gate, to the lovely, clean and cosy lodge we stayed in - Olli’s space was fantastic. The attention to detail was great and found we had all the amenities and utilities to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hot tub was lovely, as well as the waterfall shower and very comfy bed. We cannot wait to stay again and enjoy another fantastic stay with Olli. Thanks for having us!
