We were 8 adults and 3 young children and we had a great stay. Ann was a great host and really helpful with everything. Would 100% recommend. Lots of amenities and everything is really well thought out and done.

My family - including 92 year old and 3 month old - stayed for one week in February. The house is lovely and provided excellent accommodation. It was spotlessly clean and everything I could think of was available! Unfortunately, even at this time of year, the pool was always full and we were turned away at the session start time. There is no booking system. One family we spoke to had been three times with their young children and not managed to get in. Other facilities (eg tennis) seemed oversubscribed too. Cycling and kayaking (with own equipment) was excellent.

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. We had a fabulous stay at Lois’ for a weekend friends reunion. Lois and Paul were welcoming and took the time to talk us through local information. The house had more sleeping areas than we’d realised, which was great. We used the pool and were delighted to find Lois had left us an array of treats in the kitchen. Thank you for having us, I am sure we’ll be back to this fab location.

Excellent instructions to find the property. House was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient plates, cups, glasses, etc for the number of people stating in the house, plus a large pan for cooking. The children who were part of the group appreciated the toys on the property. The park was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again for a family get together

Robs communication was great. Really helpful info given to us prior to arrival meaning we did not need to ask any questions while staying at the property. The property itself is lovely, lots of little touches throughout and everyone was really impressed. The swimming pool is a lovely addition to the property which we used one of the mornings and the hottub was very much utilised. Would absolutely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back! We had a really lovely stay at Marion's barn conversion. It has a well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, comfortable sofas - very nice set up, would definitely recommend. We really enjoyed playing tennis on the tennis court. Only disappointment was not being allowed to use the fireplace which hadn't been clear when booking.

Great host great accommodation

I recommend this place as it is at a good location, great value for money and the host Joel is very easy to communicate with. The check-in process is very detailed and prepared well so it went very smoothly. I booked this for my colleague who mistakenly due to an internal misunderstanding overstayed at the Airbnb but Joel (the host) was very quick to notify me and resolved it without any hassles. Much appreciated!

A nice house which looks exactly as advertised, good parking, easy access and spacious. Helpful host who allowed us to checkout slightly later than the set time. Also a good range of kitchen utensils and appliances, spacious living area and comfortable sofa. Overall a great experience.

This is a great home in a very convenient location. Its absolutely pristine. There are 2 double bedrooms (standard size double beds, not king size) and a small single. Very comfortable sitting rooms, 2 tvs, every mod con. Only thing to consider is there are quite a lot of personal items which are easy to knock into and not ideal if you have small children.

From the outset Alison was appropriately helpful, contactable and very hospitable. The house was extremely clean, the bed linen crisp and fresh. The house was tastefully decorated for Christmas including a welcome basket on arrival. The location and size of house was brilliant for a family gathering of eleven including 5 small grandchildren. We had access to the college grounds and were in easy walking distance to the Downs, Clifton village and suspension bridge.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Bristol to celebrate our daughter's 21st. The house was perfect and had everything we needed and more. Our arrival was delayed which meant Linda was not able to meet us. She sent me very detailed instructions for our arrival and even made a video tour which was very useful. The house is well situated for Clifton Downs and Clifton which is a lovely area to walk around, shop and eat. If we come to Bristol again, this will def be our first choice for our stay.

Location was fantastic right by pubs and restaurants. We went away as a group for a 40th birthday and went to the Italian next door as recommended by the hosts and it was fabulous. The house is simply stunning, beautifully maintained with subtle nods to the listed building era. I Would highly recommend as long as you don’t need a dinning room/living room to gather as a group. For us staying the one night and heading out for food a drinks it was ideal but if you like a living area this may not be ideal for you. The listing clearly states there is no living area due to listed building regulations and so for us we were aware and this was not an issue. The hosts were friendly and informative whilst giving space. They responded to queries very quickly and offered advice and support with the local area. Parking is plentiful outside the property however you may need to do a few loops to grab a space. We managed after a few minutes. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)
